Back home....2 parcels (well 3 actually, 3rd packaging to send my faulty iPhone back...how will I live ?!!!)
One contained a sneaky dress I didn't tell you about because it's not v exciting from Biden Ebay shop. Can't seem to find it to link, but cotton jersey, olive sludge ( my fav!) colour, 3/4 sleeve, fitted top with slight a line skirt perfect for work only wil be useful ...oh and only £24.

Marsha you are right, the dress is v me . funny you know what i like now. I haven't ordered the Me+Em yet, need visa bill to arrive and then I will.
Grumpy I love 2 and 3..... I've got loads, want to borrow one Grin
Anni I love the silver trainers. I had a pair of silver cheapo s that I wore with everything last year until they fell apart.

Drywhiteplease · 03/05/2013 15:28

Oh...my lack of numeracy skills strikes again!Hmm
Parcel no 2 contained
this piece of crap I must have been on the Drywhite when I ordered it. Completely hideous piece of rubbish, a waste of £23, what was I thinking? Ebay beckons unless any of you ladies would love this tasteful statement necklace (Novice it has partly bits....I know you want it Grin)

Drywhiteplease · 03/05/2013 15:29

"Sparkly"

Topazandpearl · 03/05/2013 15:42

Thanks for the Mac "paint pot" tip drywhite.
Grumpy, I like both navy dresses. I'd have to see the lace one irl to be able to say which of them I preferred. I'm sure, being Reiss, it would look good but you can't really tell from the pic. What a lovely event to be shopping for!
You can pick up orders from my local M&S Simply Food, but they don't take returns. How annoying is that?

McNally · 03/05/2013 15:58

Love dresses 1 and 2 Grumpy. The lace one is very elegant and looks like it'd be pretty useful. The white is a bit more fun as you could add some great accessories but would need to be heavy knit to avoid any gust of wind disasters?

Those silver trainers are lovely Anni and the silver looks quite subtle. I'm tempted. I think Superga come out big. Does anyone know for sure?

OneLittleLady · 03/05/2013 16:08

Oh Dry you didn't really order that necklace did you?!?!

Annianni · 03/05/2013 16:16

I'm a uk6 in Superga Mcnally, they seem wide fitting to me.
I'm also a 6 in Ash and Converse but a UK7 in Sam Edelman if that helps?

There are a few silver pairs on ebay, a bit cheaper than Matches but no size 6's

Annianni · 03/05/2013 16:17

Blimey Dry, that necklace is an acquired taste :o

Sleepwhenidie · 03/05/2013 16:25

Hi all.

McNally Superga came up big on me, usually a 39 but have a 38 (that felt fine, then rubbed my little toe, now fine after a few wears Smile)

Drywhite, that necklace is a bit Shock, the lottery that is drunken shopping eh? Grin

Just back from town, Zara has some great stuff in, including that silk kimono in cream with pinks, I tried on the navy just to see and it feels lovely on. Also isn't too floaty iykwim, it has some gathering/elastic at the waist at the back so I don't think it would get caught on door handles - also a habit of mine with loose clothes Anni!

Also at Zara, some nice occasion dresses, including this which I thought looked nicer IRL and could be lovely with the right accessories and a few more curves than the model to fill it Wink

I love that first navy dress Grumpy, the first white one is also lovely but would be a disaster waiting to happen on clumsy me. Navy lace much more sophisticated I think. Not so keen on the 2nd navy one sorry.

I picked up this bag, couldn't resist at £23 and also a white cotton blazer which doesn't seem to be on the website. Very happy.

Sleepwhenidie · 03/05/2013 16:27

I got the shopper in blue to use with white tops/grey cashmere/blue scarf combo that seems to be coming out quite a bit for me.Grin

Sleepwhenidie · 03/05/2013 16:34

Oh - if anyone is planning a splurge in Whistles soon, please would you consider buying my giftcard off me to use? It has £176 on it but I would do you a discount Wink, there is nothing I like there at the moment Sad.

shopafrolic · 03/05/2013 17:29

Need to check back later on links but just reporting back on the remaining Me&em dresses.
shift this is a great colour on me but a bit too A line at the bottom so is going back. For the price it needs to be perfect. It is a beautiful dress though.
Levis so I'm keeping this Levis one as the colour is good and it's a more practical choice for day to day with DS.
Grecian and this one is just stunning on. When I first took it out of the bag I thought it was going to be too dressy but when I tried it with flat sandals and a brown thin belt at the waist it looks great, and then you can dress it up with heels for evening. The colour is just gorgeous. The downside, it is 100% viscose but the fabric feels good so I am going to risk it as I love it so.
I've also tracked down my hairdresser and he's only moved to a new salon in Earl's Court so not too far away. Am booked in for the 18th - so looking forward to meeting you all!
Since I've bought all these dresses and the Madewell flats aren't available I am not going to ask DH to get me anything this trip. I don't need anything else now, not even t-shirts really. And his flights have changed so he has less time between office and airport. He'll be relieved! How's everyone spending the Bank Holiday weekend while I'm home alone with DS?

Omg! Tears of laughter streaming down my face drywhite thank you for that link! the wine may be helping

Grumpy, I love love love that first dress. I was supposed to be doing client ent on ladies day but it fell through else I would have snapped it up already.

Shop if you change your mind let me know. Smile I really wouldn't mind. At least (unlike my siblings) you're not sending me a vague description of a bag on my last day and insisting I buy it because I must have lots of spare time Hmm

shopafrolic · 03/05/2013 18:14

Grumpy I love dress 1, with dress 2 a close second.

OneLittleLady · 03/05/2013 18:16

Another vote for dress 1 grumpy

shopafrolic · 03/05/2013 18:17

Surely that necklace should be saved for someone you truly love as a gorgeous Christmas gift Grin

We've got a rather exciting weekend planned Shop...

Tomorrow we've got a tranny van booked and have 2000 bricks to collect that I bought from ebay last week.

Sunday, dh will no doubt be playing with the bricks.
Whilst I take the ds's and dsd to a local horse show.

And Monday will be more brick related fun :o

I'd like to list another 10 things on ebay at some point too.

Annianni · 03/05/2013 18:30

Good idea Shop...

That necklace would make a lovely secret santa gift Dry

Annianni · 03/05/2013 18:33

Those dresses are lovely Shop

shopafrolic · 03/05/2013 18:33

When I first read that Anni all I saw was that you had a tranny booked! Each to their own Grin

Grr, didn't have time for Zara in town, will attempt to pop in on Sunday.

Glad you had dress success Shop.

My sale Havaianas have arrived, they are really nice (although hard to get frightfully excited about plain orange flip flops). Can see they will make lots of outfits very doable.

LinusDKD · 03/05/2013 19:08

De-lurking to say that gilt.com has Chan Luu jewelry for sale at discount prices.

You will have to register and as this is the first time I have purchased anything from them I have no idea what customer service is like but I thought I would share this with you.

Oh, and they also have Helmut Lang clothing for sale...

Back to lurking (and thank you all for inspiring me to get out of my post-babies fashion rut).

shopafrolic · 03/05/2013 19:14

Have you got a link Hopefully are they neon orange or just orange?
