Drywhite I think that dress is very you in shape.

Amber I really like the white Kors bag. (And am secretly coveting the Celine trio in white).

AmberNectarine · 03/05/2013 10:13

Anni I've seen the Supergas IRL, and they're quite subtle - I wouldn't call them blingy. I really like them. Eve on the Worn Out blog has those Adenas (and indeed a very enviable shoe collection) so you could check her out for outfit ideas. I really love them!

I may have actually found my maxi. Two downsides - 1. It is viscose/poly mix, sigh. 2. It was in the sale and they only had a 12. Have ordered and we will see. The style and stripe-width is perfect.

Am waiting in for DHL with my new sunglasses.

AmberNectarine · 03/05/2013 10:17

Hubba hubba

MarshaBrady · 03/05/2013 10:29

Love those.

BrandyAlexander · 03/05/2013 10:35

Oh Shop poor you! I will be in the US in 6 weeks time. Definitely East Coast and possibly West Coast. If I do just East then will be 16 to 20 June. If I do west as well then will be 23 to 29 June. I can give you my hotel details and you can ship it to me (provided you don't think it too weird talking to my lovely PA).

santamarianovella · 03/05/2013 10:46

ani, i love the supergas, they can be worn with anything.
Sad about the flats shop.
lovely flats amberamber but i can practically feel my feet burning from the PVC just by looking.

MarshaBrady · 03/05/2013 10:48

Shop what a shame, Madewell are annoying with the no delivery. As much as I covet their stuff I wish they'd get with the global scene!

Hopefully · 03/05/2013 11:06

Those are gorgeous Amber. If only see through leather existed...

AmberNectarine · 03/05/2013 11:11

Yes, I must admit my other stories flats have destroyed my feet. But then so did my Loubs.

foxysocks · 03/05/2013 11:40

i agree marsha. it would be pretty easy for me to order those madewell flats and get a friend to send them over, but returns/exchanges would then be problematic and i'm not willing to take the risk. esp on shoes, when half a size can make all the diff.

another in promptu date night with DH means I'm on my second coffee and clutching my head. after two glasses of wine, am lightweight. ouch. wore indigo skinnies, white oversized open back top (reiss), leather biker (all saints) and jalouse, felt v rocky with some chunky jewellery too.

carrie that's such a shame about the boden pointy flats, I agree they would be an absolute winner in soft leather.

still perusing matches. WWYB with £150? pref as dead on that as poss, although can go a little over.

foxysocks · 03/05/2013 11:47

in promptu, wtf? dyac.

Sleepwhenidie · 03/05/2013 12:16

Hi everyone, lovely sunshine, hurrah!

Hopefully, love that AM kaftan...have you seen this? Obviously not quite the same but it is 100% silk and a lot cheaper, also in stock!

Anni I like both those pairs of shoes, think the rose gold could look really good worn as you describe.

Amber I love the white bag, def not trashy. I am searching for my perfect white bag that doesn't make me faint at the priceGrin.

Just back from the gym, showered and contemplating a potter down Marylebone Road as I have a few hours to myself. Need to return that scarf to Whistles. Am wearing cropped distressed jeans, colourblock cashmere tshirt sweater with a white cotton halter neck top underneath (in case it gets really hot!) and white supergas, will take orange bucket bag.

Foxy your date outfit sounds very cool Smile. I went out with DH on Wednesday and wore my ebay £55 off white JBrand 811's and I am so pleased with them. DH also very approving, of look and price Grin!

Anyone looking for a bargain (or otherwise) designer bikini for hols, have you seen this site clicking.com? Very nice things...

Sleepwhenidie · 03/05/2013 12:17

sorry, autocorrect fail...it is called clickini.com, the link works.

Annianni · 03/05/2013 12:19

Those shoes are lovely Amber, but they look a bit sweaty to me :o

I've noticed she has those shoes, she has some lovely ones Envy
I'll have a look later to see how she styles them.

I think those silver Superga could be great for Summer, they might scare dh though.

I did find those SE trainers on US Amazon in all sizes.
But they're more than I wanted to pay if i'm honest.

Hope dd is better soon QueenC
Mine like fruit ice lollies when they've been sick.

Just been shoe shopping with ds2 and we've come home with flipping dinosaur shoes. They are hideous :o
But he loves them.

Annianni · 03/05/2013 12:24

I tried those m&s snake flats while I was out and they're lovely.

But it felt quite strange, looking down at the pointy toe next to my ballet flat.

Annianni · 03/05/2013 12:28

Sleep, that kaftan is divine.

I'd quite like to waft about in a kaftan but in reality I'd get it caught on door handles and trapped in drawers :o

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 03/05/2013 12:42

Hello Ladies, not had much of a catch up yet on the thread, but I've just had a sudden realisation that it's Royal Ascot next month and I haven't done a thing! Had a quick scan through some dresses - I tend to stick to quite a plain dress as the hats are embellishment enough and want to get some feedback, if you please.
Navy lace
knitted white
this one in navy...
the same in white

QueenCadbury · 03/05/2013 12:48

grumpy I utterly adore that first navy one. My second preference would be the other navy one which is also gorgeous.

I might have to have a trip to reiss...

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 03/05/2013 12:53

QueenC I think I'm with you. Also if I buy two navy dresses, it makes potential coats, shoes etc a bit easier. If anyone has any other dress suggestions, they too would be gratefully received!

Annianni · 03/05/2013 12:53

Grumpy I like number 1 and 2

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 03/05/2013 13:15

not for Ascot, but lovely all the same

QueenCadbury · 03/05/2013 14:02

Damn you grumpy . Not only do I want that reiss dress but now I want loads of shoes and bags from zara (because obviously you made me look at those!) Grin

a cheap alternative to ambers

Hopefully · 03/05/2013 14:11

Grumpy I like number one.

Shop that kimono is gorgeos. Am popping into town this afternoon, will see if they have it in local zara. I love how I have decided this look is going to work despite (a) not owning a pair of denim shorts and (b) knowing full well I will look awful in said denim shorts. Maybe with liberal fake tan application...

shopafrolic · 03/05/2013 15:00

Hopefully it was sleep who recommended the kimono - I can't claim the glory
I just called my hairdresser to book in before our meet up on the 18th and he's left the salon!!!!!!! Need to track him down - I"ll be mortified if I can't find him.
Novice thanks for the offer re: US shopping - very kind of you. I may have given up the urge by then.
Amber those flats are amazing!
Marsha glad phone situation is sorted

santamarianovella · 03/05/2013 15:12

If you are still keen on those flats shop, try contacting shopbop, they are the only online retailer who stock madewell, and ask them if they will stock them later.
