Liberty you are right.....I have a problem with occasion wear dresses, I love them, and I have, in the past, bought a dress because I loved it and not really worn it. Perhaps she says through gritted teeth the sensible thing to do is keep the Whistles and return the Coast, and if it goes in the sale then fashion fate will step in.

Hopefully · 01/05/2013 09:07

Blond those are gorgeous shoes.

I am currently eyeing my neon polishes, neon trousers and neon trainers and debating which combination to frighten the world with today.

I am also having a wardrobe sort out, and am slightly alarmed at how tired some of my favourite clothes are becoming. Glad I finally have a bit of budget to update things! It's nice to get it all out on the bed and be critical though. I think my new white jeans and shoes (shoes! Plural!) will open up lots of new outfit combinations.

MrsRadicchio · 01/05/2013 09:08

I linked those blonde! Glad you like them. Amazing eBay bargain too.

I like it when people buy things I've linked to. Think it feeds some shopping urge in me! Amber, will you buy the loafers (enabler)

Yes, it is funny to imagine what people look like. Wish I could make the meet up. You'll have to post some pics. I'll expect to see some glow sticks and podium dancing from shop!

Hopefully, like your description of yourself...you do look very petite on your blog but am guessing that is not the case then. Liked your recent post where you said you had to crop your head in case you scared small children...sure it wasn't that bad!!

Liberty is the voice of reason again. I am really trying to follow the rule of buying for my life now. Unfortunately it makes for dull purchases, sigh.

AmberNectarine · 01/05/2013 09:12

Wear the lot hopefully! I'm rocking the neon Kate Spade earrings and my Raoul today with sprayed on black Me&Em, Charles Philip Shanghai slippers and a cobalt blazer.

Oh and loud pink lippy. Meant to say QueenC, I had my colours done March 2012 and didn't really embrace the lip colour til the end of last year, as it took a lot of getting used to - you'll get there!

blondambition · 01/05/2013 09:19

Aw thanks Shop and for the shoe-love everyone! I've got the Choos in 2 other colours and love the fact that they have rubber soles but still look, hopefully, stylish. Only possible problem is they are a half size smaller than my others, but hoping to use the tried and tested 2 pairs of socks & hairdryer technique to stretch them.

QueenC just read back, your poor DD. Hope she's better very soon, luckily at that age bones mend v quickly don't they.

MrsR sorry got it wrong, Thanks for you! They really are fab, much nicer in RL and v comfy for running around in.

Loving all the neon Hopefully, really like the trainers you've bought, they are my favourite from the ones you linked.

Outfit sounds amazing Amber, is there a pic on your blog yet?

Decameron · 01/05/2013 09:30

My only vice is winenow.

I'm wearing navy J Brand mavericks, Whistles white tee shirt, R&B red ballet flats and blue Boden cardigan.

Dry, I really like that Whistles t-shirt.

Blondeambition, both those pairs of shoes are fab.

I am not happy with Matches, they appear to be giving out codes but none for moi. I think I'll try to save for the sales now anyway.

Marsha, meant to say, how awful your DS dropped his nap so early! I hope DD2 keeps it up for a good while yet.

Glad DC3 is in good form, QueenC. My DD2 is 22 months too, such a cute age.

Shop, did the jeans arrive?

Ok, off shoe shopping - for DD2 not me!

Decameron · 01/05/2013 09:30

Strikeout fail!

QueenCadbury · 01/05/2013 09:35

blonde it wasn't me-they're far too out there for my conservative tastes Grin. Bargain choos.

On the way back from school I was thinking of my dating ad...how about 'blonde, blue eyed, enjoys chocolate, diet coke and wine. Prone to hormonal outbursts and will make your life a living hell for 1 week a month. However I am all sweetness and light and a lot of fun for the other 3 weeks Wink.

shopafrolic · 01/05/2013 09:36

Decam Thanks Thanks Thanks i just picked up the jeans from the Post Office and they are fabulous! And most importantly a 29!! I can get my arse into a 29! I know I am massively overusing these!!!!!!!!!!! but OMG!!!! a 29!!!

Lots of x posts. Do none of us have childcare or jobs Grin?

shopafrolic · 01/05/2013 09:37

Careful of the use of hormonal outbursts QueenC when linked to chocolate. Your prospective date might think you're spotty Grin

MrsR I am really not petite! Big swimmers shoulders. I'm not terribly tall (5'6") but people always think I'm taller.

Blond glad you liked the trainers. I had guilt last night and was thinking I should have bought the cheaper compromise ones, but I know I wouldn't have worn them as much.

I have plumped for the neon trousers, and might paint my nails later if I get time in between wardrobe cull. Am enjoying it immensely, and it is making me really think about what i need to make outfits work for S/S (thus far, that includes more accessories and possibly a light coat/structured cardigan of some description).

Decam no code for me either. but then I haven't bought anything from them since leather leggings last year, so I'll forgive them.

Hopefully · 01/05/2013 09:38

Childcare and job here. I just have apparently decided not to do any work today...

QueenCadbury · 01/05/2013 09:43

I love the fact that none of us let work or kids get in the way our conversations. Dd is vying for my attention and my house is a tip so I really should get off the iPad.

Hopefully · 01/05/2013 09:43

Any Winters thinking of investing in leather leggings for next winter, I wonder if these will go into the sale in the couple of sizes left. Gorgeous colour.

AmberNectarine · 01/05/2013 09:45

I haven't had a code either and I've spent a good few hundred quid on S/S stuff with them - full price as well, the bastards.

Going to check out the My-W sample sale today as its pretty near to work. Drunk bought the white studded Clarks brogues last night as well... Only realised when I saw the confirmation email.

I had my fun in my youth, my septum is not what is was, but I never get colds...

AmberNectarine · 01/05/2013 09:48

I am at work but cocking about getting a sausage bap to combat hangover.

shopafrolic · 01/05/2013 09:57

Sounds like a good night Amber if drunk shoe shopping was involved.

I'm lurking whilst ironing.
Ds2 is pretending to run on the treadmill in the crappy conservatory.

I'm waiting for my Gap and asos orders today, then I'll have a try on session with the zatchel too.

I may need opinions later, about the 2 pairs of trainers that I bought last night.
I'm wearing my Virgo's most days, so I think I need another pair.
But maybe leather and not pale grey suede or fabric, which I will trash quite quickly.

Annianni · 01/05/2013 10:01

Drywhite, there's lots of Whistles dresses reduced on asos, if you fancied another instead of the Coast one.

shopafrolic · 01/05/2013 10:03

Wow! The Dressing Room have joined up with the Sanderson and St Martin's Lane hotels to offer a 20% discount. Quote FASHION RATE when booking.

foxysocks · 01/05/2013 10:10

i've never bought anything at matches but have a sizeable wish list saved, maybe they are trying to entice me in?!

hopefully did you get white baxters? what's the fit/sizing like? I am never going to make it to try them on, wondering whether i should order online instead.

MrsRadicchio · 01/05/2013 10:17

Anni I like the look of leather superga

I am able to post a lot on Tues and Wed as that is when DS1 is in nursery. It does mean I just waste time endlessly surfing though.

Annianni · 01/05/2013 10:31

Thanks MrsR, I've got burgundy Superga and have worn them loads.
But my navy pair I've only worn once.
Think that's because I bought the navy parka and I looked daft.
I'll probably wear the navy when the weather's better and I don't need a jacket.

I met dh online and my actual ad said 'blah blah blah' :o

I filled the height, age etc bits in. But couldn't be arsed think what to put in the about me bit.

Dh was drawn in by my super flattering photo :o

QueenC have you noticed that 40 bum lady had our distressed Gap jeans on her blog yesterday.
They are looser on her legs than on mine though Envy
