Calling all HOC winters.....

So, I had my colours done yesterday and I am now a sprinter winter. My best colours being royal blue, electric blue, damson, lagoon blue and light emerald.

Of course a shopping trip is now required Grin so I'm just after any inspiration by what you fellow winters have recently bought...

Yay, welcome Bert!

LCHammer · 10/10/2013 18:41

Welcome all newbies :)

bertandmarble · 10/10/2013 21:49

Thank you! I was already in that zone but looking forward to some new buys. Loving my Mac Russian Red lipstick and there is a Collection2000 emerald green liquid liner coming my way too.....

Bought a v nice black patent pair of over the knee boots from Next (and now v similar are in Primarni)

ElizabethBathory · 11/10/2013 17:59

For any emerald lovers, the Boden cashmere crew neck in emerald is an almost perfect match for the light emerald HOC swatch. I was a bit wary about ordering it at first as Boden emeralds in the past have been very flat and grassy, not jewel-like at all.

ElizabethBathory · 11/10/2013 18:00

Emerald green liner sounds amazing bert! And glad you like Russian Red too :)

bertandmarble · 11/10/2013 21:39

Get involved ElizabethBathory, its lovely! I bought another one today in Sapphire...
and I bought an electric blue devore oversize t shirt in River Island. I would like some leather leggings - anyone else got any?

kimono link

leather skirt link

I've bought a rimmel kate lipstick in 22 and it's a great pinky bright red.

MissScatterbrain · 13/10/2013 08:17

The skirt looks gorgeous - amazing price too!

Am wearing Barry M's wine nail polish - a gorgeous dark red (not quite burgundy though).

KosherBacon · 13/10/2013 09:18

Can somebody buy this bag? I'm lusting after it but do not have the budget. It's the perfect winter cobalt bag.

bertandmarble · 13/10/2013 17:18

River Island are doing very similar ones Kosherbacon

QueenCadbury · 14/10/2013 20:58

Hello my winter lovelies! I had a fab time in London at the weekend and did a bit of shopping. I'm going to be annoying and link all my purchases separately otherwise I lose my posts!

There was some gorgeous stuff in other stories. I bought this pine green scarf.

QueenCadbury · 14/10/2013 21:02

And this belt but in cobalt. I've asked dh for the grey for my birthday as I wish I'd got that too.

OP posts:
QueenCadbury · 14/10/2013 21:06

pink jumper.

There was a pine green cardigan that I really wanted but they didn't have it in my size and it's not online Sad

QueenCadbury · 14/10/2013 21:09

grey tee. I nearly bought more of these in other colours but thought I'd wait and see how it washes first.

QueenCadbury · 14/10/2013 21:12

And that was it! I was very well restrained Grin.

There was lots of cobalt stuff in banana republic including a gorgeous tote bag. I was planning on linking it for dh for my birthday list but it's not online.

I also tried on what I thought was a damson jumper in gap (not online) but when I tried it on and compared it to the swatch I realised it wasn't quite right.

Lovely links in great colours.

I'm not buying anything ATM as I'm just so busy at the weekends and working during the week (in a village) and hoping to lose another couple of pounds.

MissScatterbrain · 16/10/2013 10:03

Great purchases Queen. I have that jumper but in charcoal - bought last year and I love it (watch out for the underarm bobbling though).

MissScatterbrain · 16/10/2013 10:06

I have been really good about not spending money - strangely this thread is helping me. I am much more fussy now, realising that there aren't any real gaps in my wardrobe now that I have been good about buying winter coloured stuff for some years.

Its different for those who were recently diagnosed though and I do enjoy seeing what you are buying and wearing.

bertandmarble · 16/10/2013 10:36

Has anyone had their style day too? I am a romantic natural which means lots of dramatic fun...
