Calling all HOC winters.....

So, I had my colours done yesterday and I am now a sprinter winter. My best colours being royal blue, electric blue, damson, lagoon blue and light emerald.

Of course a shopping trip is now required Grin so I'm just after any inspiration by what you fellow winters have recently bought...

Kezztrel - was in Debenhams getting a wedding present and I saw these fair isle jumpers, could only find this one online but they also has navy and red in:

What's with all this fair isle stuff? I first read about it in here. Then last night I was at a gig/club and lots of pretty young things were wearing fair isle jumpers. In a nightclub

MAHC- when you find naff tartan in per una then you know a "trend" has jumped the shark before it even started.

Aftermay- what is this "club" you talk about. I vaguely remember the word from my days pre DS.

Aftermay tbh I didn't know fair isle was particularly trendy this year, it comes round every winter and I always fail to find a fair isle jumper I like. I've got a fair isle dress from People Tree that I've had for years and adore (perfect winter colours!) but its on its last legs really.

The club was Corsica near Elephant & Castle. Saw East India Youth, Teeth of the Sea and Factory Floor. All excellent. Left at 3 am. I wore a black top with silver sequins, skirt and silver shoes and bag. We've only restarted going out together this past year as babysitting has been easier as kids are older.

No it's a model wearing the black and white fair isle dress I have. If I could find a jumper version I would be v happy :) I'm not in the habit of posing on car bonnets!

Fab jumper dress/tunic - I can imagine you being an ingenue/gamine looking good in it. Think you would look good in tartan as well.

I nipped into gap today just to take some stuff back but they looked like they have loads of new stuff in that's not on the website. Didn't have time to look properly but there was a navy jumper with bright pink spots and some damson looking stuff.

kezz as I've seen a picture of you I can totally imagine you in the dress.

Remember I mentioned my big birthday coming up and that I'd bought this blue dress. It's an absolutely stunning dress and colour but it made my bum look big and also creases badly. Instead I went for black. Boring colour I know but absolutely gorgeous dress. I love it!

That's where you all have to give me some ideas! I currently only have black heels but may go for coloured ones. It's not until November so I have a few weeks to ponder.

Re accessories - I would go for one of your best colours e,g cobalt/turquoise. If you want to stick with black heels, these would work really well with a brightly coloured clutch bag and a beaded bib/statement necklace.

QC I just got that dress link to work! Awesome. Viv or Coast, I know which one I would go for! I love the emerald Pinterest selection but also love the simplicity of the red courts.
