Day 100

So what have you done and what are you planning to do?

I've started on the water. I had planned to weigh myself but forgot (great start) in addition to everything else on my list I'm going to paint my nails later.

Liking the hot lemon in the morning .
Exfoliating mitt was a bit of a shock ! Quite bracing !
Tesco ( found an old bottle ) body lotion makes my legs feel a bit sticky , but not too bad .
Used a VO 5 hot oil treatment , hair feels nice and silky , and thicker than normal . May be because I actually dried and styled it properly .
confusedpixie I'm making oven roasted butternut soup as we speak !
I think the problem with the bland soup , was I was making at too virtuous !
So olive oil and salt have been used , and a splash of creme fraiche to finish .
Can't wait for late lunch .
Fruit intake up , water drunk , still haven't taken multi vits or done any excersize
Feeling good though.

And paint thank you for your very kind selfless offer to save me from the Aero but, well, it's gone now Sad

Hi everyone! It's a tad slow for me today as DD is a bit unsettled after her vaccinations and just wants constant boob!

Had a lovely walk earlier, shopping has been delivered so have a fresh supply of yummy fruit and veg and a large bag of malteasers

Trying to have a tidying up day as we seem to have worn every bit of clothing we own!

HelgatheHairy · 19/09/2012 14:15

Having had a wander through the Christmas bits of the Boots website, I've decided I need to win the lotto. There's loads I want, pedicure kits, manicure kits, bubbly bath kits. REALLY disappointed Soap&Glory haven't put their foot file in any of their kits though! Don't they know it's famous!

have had a day off moisturizing as got up late and had to get going with the dog walking .
the straps came for ankles ( which are feeling a lot better ) so i thought shred or gardening ( pulling all the shit ivy and Thornie things and bit of tree out of my garden ) gardening won as it bin day tomorrow and it is a lovely day .Dogs helped by digging holes.

going to have a bath later do dehairing face pack and moisturizing
Not talking about food today or drinking of water ...

lurkingfromhome · 19/09/2012 18:12

Also, I have not budged from my desk all frigging day, except to go downstairs and make endless cups of green tea. I have such a sedentary lifestyle but can't seem to find time to do anything about it. Not even the Shred. Gaaaah! Must do better.

Doilooklikeatourist · 19/09/2012 19:15

Sadly got attacked by a bar of Cadburys Dairy Milk .
Tasted good though

8 glasses of water a day
Exfoliate and moisturised
Use anti-aging face cream
Intensive nail care (feet and hands)
At least 2 extra fruit & veg ( blueberries, grapes , apple , OJ , butternut squash , carrot , onion )
Healthy breakfast
Hair oil
No alcohol tonight
Warm water with lemon first thing in the a.m.

I need to get eye cream ,vitamins , body brush ( not sure about that )
Do some excersise < stamps feet , don't want to >
Salmon for dinner tomorrow .
Not a bad start , I think .

Inneedofbrandy · 19/09/2012 19:20

Well Iv'e moisturised every night so far, green tea once a day ish. Kept on top of toes and finger nails, plus started using hand cream and taking my make up off at night. Feel quite proud of myself!

AGeeksWife · 19/09/2012 20:20

Not a bad day- had my salmon for tea, walked miles, vitamin and ACV done.

Last night I slathered my feet in Lush Ultrabalm and will do tonight (fir a few days to give the foot file a bit of a head start as they are so bad).

My hair has looked shite today, just one of those straggley mess days where nothing helps. It's not even dirty so don't know why.

And DH left for work really early so no time to moisturise as the kids were in need of supervision!

addictedisback · 19/09/2012 20:35

(what does acv stand for?)

Paintyourbox · 19/09/2012 21:47

Addicted ACV= Apple cider vinegar. Don't ask me what it is or what it does!

Blog updated- yay! It's getting a lot of interest.

BookFairy · 19/09/2012 22:23

Aside from walking I've slacked off exercise and had cake for lunch :( On the plus side I've washed my hair, used hair oil, moisturised, put flexitol on my feet, taken my vitamin and am catching up with my fluid intake. Not too bad?!

HelgatheHairy · 20/09/2012 08:17

Day 95

Right, I'm determined today will be better. Have started on a glass of water.

snowballinashoebox · 20/09/2012 08:27

My face has fallen offSad big welts itchy beyond itchy and a big scaly burning mess.
I've been using a Ren sample daily moisturiser so think it's that. Anyone any suggestions for lovely kind skin care? I OCM regularly, think I might just stick with that and step away from anti ageing etc.

Fed up. On the plus side from my neck down I am quite princess like, smooth moisturised, get a bit bored with the dry brushing though and endless loo trips! How long is everyone dry brushing for?
Cycled a fair bit, veg consumption ok, but have to up my fruit.

Paintyourbox · 20/09/2012 08:41

Snowball that sounds awful! I would say get yourself some anti histamines to help lessen the reaction and relieve the redness/itching. I'd probably avoid applying anything for a few days until it calms down.

Aveeno is absolutely lovely for the skin, I first discovered it for my DDs eczema. My sister has skin like yours- very sensitive- but finds Clarins Daily Energizers to be pretty good.

Doilooklikeatourist · 20/09/2012 08:53

Forgot the hot lemon , and made myself a nice mug of coffee ( and then another one )
snowball my sister has sensitive skin , the only thing she can use is good old Nivea cold cream
( the stuff your Granny used )

snowballinashoebox · 20/09/2012 09:02

I looked at Aveeno and Nivea the other day funnily enough, spent a long time in Boots. Thanks for those ideas, I shall hide and let it calm down.

MsKayGee · 20/09/2012 09:15

It was such a bad day for me yesterday. Had to go to a funeral, managed my lemon hot water first thing then it was all downhill from there... Ate too much crap buffet food, drank a few halves of cider, smoked a cigarette, feeling totally bleugh this morning.

Onwards and upwards. I've had my lemon water and vitamin, had breakfast, off out for a fanjo wax and then to the gym for a swim Grin.

jsjsdcdp · 20/09/2012 09:19

I no im a few days behined but i shall be starting tomorrow. Im going to hot foot it to the shops today get my supplies. I thought i was doing ok until i read this and the other thread about this. Then realised i had been reading with a takeaway on my lap with a bar of chocolate and a bag of onion rings for afters (blush)

lurkingfromhome · 20/09/2012 09:23

Still haven't started the body brushing thingy. Mainly because I still haven't bought a body brush. Will do that tomorrow. The Shred is still lying there on the floor gazing at me malevolently. I am very good about the hot water & lemon, exfoliating, moisturizing and vitamin taking, but need to get going on a few other things.

On another note, my DM and DF swear by a teaspoonful of manuka honey every day. Has anyone tried this and what exactly are the benefits? DM was vague when I quizzed her last night (I think she reads in the Daily Express that something is a good idea and follows it slavishly...).

GirlsonFilm · 20/09/2012 13:57

I'm joining today if I may, late as we moved house at the weekend and I've only just extracted myself from unpacking (off topic but how did we get so much bloody stuff?)
Anyway, been and got waxed this morning, done 1.5 litres of water, found the nail varnish so will paint toes and off yo have a bath/exfoliate/brush & moisturise. Its amazing how much you can get done when DCs are at nursery!
Apologies for the spelling as on phone as can't find computer.

MotherOfNations · 20/09/2012 14:36

I've been good with regards to all the beauty stuff. I had a healthy breakfast but I took dd to nasty McDonalds at lunch time for a treat. I was good and got a grilled chicken salad wrap and water, though I did steal a couple of dd's chips and a handful of smarties.

BookFairy · 20/09/2012 17:57

Hi js and Girls :)

Don't worry js ! We're all having days when we go off plan. I'm really lacking in the exercise department but I'm telling myself that I'll get there eventually!

MotherOfNations · 20/09/2012 19:08

Dp was meant to be making shepherd's pie but got in from work too late so currently waiting on our order of fish supper. Also there was chocolate brownie dessert and jersey cream cheap in the supermarket and I love a bargain. I'm enjoying a vodka and diet coke while I wait for my food to arrive. Not going to beat myself up about it. Just going to enjoy and start again tomorrow.

Lavenderhoney · 20/09/2012 19:44

On level 2 of shred today, how does she think of these torturous moves? Will never snack again. Did home mani and pedi today, plus drank lots of water and no alcohol. The thought of doing level 2 put me right of my cheese

The weights I use are old water bottles:) But you can use baked beans or perhaps an ergonomic drink - some have grips ideal for exercising. I think I might have some Zumba weigh somewhere so might dig them out.

have been doing special eye cream as well, but my face has broken out a bit what with all this water etc. flushing toxins hopefully.

must have a go with the green tea, I'm sure it will be lovely. Not.
