Day 100

So what have you done and what are you planning to do?

I've started on the water. I had planned to weigh myself but forgot (great start) in addition to everything else on my list I'm going to paint my nails later.

I've had to tweak my list , as I just can't do it all.
1 . Always wear make up if I leave the house , and remove it properly .
2 . Exfoliate in the shower and moisturise all over .
3 . Make appointments for hair cuts and hair removal , also eyelash tint regularly , use hair oil every 2 weeks .
4 . Use cream on feet and hands ( and elbows ) and varnish nails .
5 . Eat more fruit and veg ( and less cheese ) .
6 . Drink more water and less alcohol .
7 . Remember to take multi vitamins .
8 . Go to bed earlier .

I've finally bitten the bullet and ordered the shred as apart from all the beauty stuff I have done nothing for over a week. I had a night out on Saturday and getting ready to go out was so depressing. Nothing looked right. I had to go out in boring old jeans and a baggy top, so I decided serious action was needed.

Motherofnations big cheer about the shred!

I think I would need an ambulance to take me to hospital if I tried it!

Decent nights sleep here, porridge for breakfast. Now need to move myself out of bed and into the shower but very tempted to make the most of baby napping by sleeping myself

Shred is fab. Did level 1 with weights last night & all seems ok this morning Grin Did yoga on Tuesday, so am on a bit of a roll! Must try to do Shred again on Friday night.

I took a small bottle of water with me into work yesterday & managed to drink that, so will be doing that again today. Am also going to take some herbal tea bags in with me to try again.

Must make packed lunch now!

Day 82 (I think)

Princessing has ground to a halt due to arrival of period (am TTC) and having to spend 5 hours in a&e with my Dad last night. He had a GP appointment at 4.30 who discovered a rash all over his body, he didn't know what it was so sent us to a&e for blood tests. 5 hours later, after blood tests, they still aren't certain what it is and think its a side effect of a viral infection.

I'm doing OK , actually had someone say to me that I was looking good , what was I doing ?, I said I was just following this thing on the Internet , and trying to do all the obvious things that we all know we should be doing .

I think it's the cutting out of the midweek wine that's made a big difference .

Who'd have thought ?

I've twinged my sciatica and somehow injured my achilles heel/tendon. Footballer injury of choice I am reliably informed. Intruiging as I don't play any sports! I was even feeling brave enough for Shred Sad

Good for you Dooilook Smile I was told I 'look well' yesterday. I'd rather hear 'look fabulous' but I'll take it [ grin]

Hope your dad recovers soon helga. Did shred this morning and it was horrible, did try and step it up though. Am on l2- no breath to swear at gm:)

Hair done today, but face a bit spotty! I never get spots, but have been drinking more water. Am going to try to cut out the wine during the week, after the weekend. Plus buy the six pack in six weeks gm and do that too.

Have realised that am concentrating more on me, and the housework is getting neglected somewhat... Still, I can do that to take my mind off a nice glass of wine once the dc are in bed...

Good afternoon I tried out the sock bun again last night, it didnt work, I think I need more product. I'm going to blog about it (and finish all the other posts I've started but not yet finished) just as soon as I've sorted kids dinner, finished the ironing, folded all the washing, put all washing and ironing away, put dd1 to bed, settled dd2, made adults dinner and taken a moment to breathe before it all starts again...that'll be probably never then!

I have been eating cakes and buscuits today tho, I really need to jump back on the bandwagon and soon!

so son broke boiler last night well it was broke anyways but he broke it good.

have got it fixed hopefully but not sure if the heating will work but we should be getting lovely hot water so after the dogs have gone home a bath will be had .

walked too long dog walks today so shred still in packing

addicted hope the you get the sock bun to work one day...
lavender you are more important that your house work..

book fairy hope you get better soon my spained ankles are nearly better so hope your injures do not take to long to heal.

Thank you long Smile I'm feeling run down, hormonal and virus-y so I'm probably just being a bit of a drama llama about the sciatica and achilles heel. Perhaps my body's way of keeping The Shred at bay? Wink I've got Yoga this eve so I'll see how it goes.

I did Shred again tonight [smug], then had a bath. Only 1 (large) glass of wine this eve, as have to be up far too early tomorrow to take DD2 swimming, so 6 squares of G&B to compensate!

day 80

Thanks for the good wishes. Dad is improving, rash still there though.

I think I mentioned earlier I'm trying the 5:2 diet. I have my 2 fast days done for this week and I'm surprised by how easy it is. I really don't find myself getting that hungry and I still have plenty of energy. Next week though I'm not going to have a fast day the day I do the weekly shopping!

On the exercise front, I'm just walking the dog at the moment. Yesterday DH and I decided to take him on this new woodland walk that I'd read about which was developed close to where we live. I thought it was going to be a nice amble through the woods, which it was for 5 minutes, then we ended up climbing a bloody mountain! I'm so unfit, had to take a few breaks. The woodland bit was lovely though, it had a stream running through it and everything.

Morning all !
Had plumbers in all week , we now have heating .
We also have furniture and clutter everywhere ....

But I have nice smooth skin ... And a few spots . I don't get spots , I'm too old !

Nice day here , so hoping to go out for a walk .

Glass of wine later , cutting down has been easier than I thought

I googled sock bun , lots of YouTube how to do videos .
My hairs too short though

Trying to get an exercise regime going as I'm doing quite well with the beauty side!

I think it might be time to purchase The Shred, my mummy tummy is getting on my nerves!

Managed a 4 mile walk today, lots of water and did well with the fruit and veg too. Hoping that tonight I will get time to do a moisturising sesh.

Shred is fab. I did it twice last week & felt very pleased with myself - might try Level two this week!

I did a very short run (still under physios orders), had a bath & moisurised my legs & arms (probably for the second time this year)

I can tell it's getting colder, my hands have started to get all dry - need to wrestle my rings off tonight & dig out my little white gloves for an overnight moisturising session!

Doitlikeatourist, I have spots! I never get spots! How do you get rid of them?

Have been doing shred and added the six pack as well. Plus plan to add some running at the gym. Started to imagine g is following me about giving me a kick, in her positive voice ' come on, just a minute to put on body lotion, think of being on the beach.. ' bathing suit shopping etc. offered her wine and she has gone now:)

Nails need repainting but otherwise doing ok, it's the water drinking for me, forget all the time. Am going to fill water bottle and carry it round with me, six glasses and drink it by the end of the day.

Lavender witch hazel gel is amazing for spots! It shrinks them right down and reduces the redness.

I am really bored of fruit- I need to do something creative with it instead of endlessly eating apples and bananas. Any ideas?

My nails need doing- they are a total mess! And my DD has had an awful virus so I cancelled my hair appointment to stay home with her.
