Day 100

So what have you done and what are you planning to do?

I've started on the water. I had planned to weigh myself but forgot (great start) in addition to everything else on my list I'm going to paint my nails later.

day 88

Well not too bad yesterday. Took vitamins, exfoliated face and then applied a charcoals face mask. Might go for a bath tonight.

doilook if you do start that thread I want to know! Lived in the country all my life but apart from eating blackberries straight from the bush do nothing.

Karbea · 28/09/2012 09:56

doilook I think it would be great to have a thread like that, I'm always looking to be a super princess housekeeper cook extrodinaire!

Yesterday I ate well, and did some running, swimming and a yoga class! Beauty stuff not doing too well, still haven't repainted my nails after taking off chipped paint last weekend :S

Doilooklikeatourist · 28/09/2012 14:14

Domestic Princess
As well as starting that , I've moisturised , but not exfoliated , taken my Vits , challenged myself to drink 2 litres of water by lunchtime , had 2 pieces of fruit and veg soup .
I've even got a bit of make up on !

Paintyourbox · 28/09/2012 16:15

Hope it's going well everyone!

Today has been a bit half-hearted for me as I held a Macmillan coffee morning so was busy serving tea and eating cakes

But I will be back on the princessing as of now! Off to get myself some water and more cake

BookFairy · 28/09/2012 21:45

I've done quite well today: bikini wax, a walk, hair washed and oiled, fully moisturised, not too bad on the food front. I have the beginnings of a cold but I have yoga tomorrow and I'm going to park further away so I can get in another walk!

Lavenderhoney · 29/09/2012 04:21

Well done paint, with your fundraising. My princessing goes off with dh here, and it's the weekend so less time. Am going to get my haircut next week. Also an trying to dress a bit more fashionably, not music festival goer which is my natural look.

AGeeksWife · 29/09/2012 06:49

Day 87

I haven't been on this thread for a few days, have kept up with the face and body stuff but water, vits, diets etc has been lacking big style so need to get back on to that.

Annoyingly my skin has gone rubbish again and annoyingly I know it's because I've been tired and I absent mindedly touch it too much when I'm tired so only got myself to blame!

Will get back to all of it as I was feeling really good on it and don't want to slide back down too far.

Engelsemama · 29/09/2012 10:05

Have been off the thread for a week recovering from hen weekend but had a really good few days. Gave myself a facial and some foot pampering last night in front of a good film, put some overnight conditioner balm in my hair before bed and have woken up feeling very princessy Smile

also dragged myself to the beauty counters yesterday and got some advice for foundation. I'm usually too embarrassed about the state of my skin (mild acne, oily T-zone, blackheads all over my nose) to even speak to the made-up creatures who're manning the counters.

Finding exercise the hardest thing to stick to (though did go for a run on Thursday night)

Doilooklikeatourist · 29/09/2012 11:20

I went to a Macmillan coffee morning ( and donated a cake and some cookies ) so a bit of cake overload yesterday .
Alcohol free Friday had too much alcohol Thursday though and in bed at 9-30 !
Feeling so much better today , moisturised , conditioned and awash with water . Must remember to paint my toe nails today .

NotQuitePerfect · 29/09/2012 18:58

Just tried Sanctuary Spa Salt Scrub for the first time - an instant hero product! Sooo lovely, gritty & oily - massage into dry skin everywhere then lie back in the bath & wallow.

Smells amazing & the slight layer of oil left on the skin is really comforting. Stand on a towel tho when you're applying - it can get messy.

I'm going to make this a twice-weekly treat.

BookFairy · 29/09/2012 19:17

I'm keeping up with the beauty regime but really must exercise more and go to bed earlier! I'm going to start Shredding again tomorrow. I must be brave Grin

NotQuitePerfect · 29/09/2012 20:39

I had a day off Shred yesterday but felt really good after doing it today. Be brave - you will never regret doing it, only not doing it.

Doilooklikeatourist · 30/09/2012 20:22

I think it's Day 86
I'm finding the water drinking easy now , pouring a glass from the tap at least 8 times a day . Drank 2 glasses before lunch without even thinking about it .
Been sorting out house as big plumbing job starting tomorrow , so no time for make up , manicure or excersize .
Early night tonight to watch Downton Abbey

bessie26 · 30/09/2012 21:21

I am very impressed by you all - I don't feel that I have improved my regular routine much other than by putting some cream on my hooves feet at night.

How are you managing to drink all that water doilook? I drink loads of water in the summer, but now it's cold I just want warm drinks. I have warm water in the morning, so I guess I should drink more of that - I used to drink loads of herbal tea, but went right off them while pg & still don't really like them (DD2 is 18m!)

I've been taking it steady with the exercise as I'm recovering from a running injury, but started a yoga class a couple of weeks ago & have restarted Shred (level 1, no weights), so with my very slow, short run that makes 3 exercise sessions a week. fx I'll be able to increase that soon, as I've eaten alot of homemade flapjack this weekend! Grin

Doilooklikeatourist · 30/09/2012 21:29

I don't know how I drink all the water bessie ( though I'm trying the gastric band hypnosis app , that also wants you to drink loads of water )

oopsiforgot · 30/09/2012 22:11

Checking in briefly, just to say I'm doing ok with all the external stuff, creaming face, hands and feet, eyelash serum, teeth whitening but still needs to work on the water/5 a day/multivitamins/exercising. Must try harder this week!

oopsiforgot · 30/09/2012 22:11

Also signed up for a glossybox, anyone any experience of it?

Lavenderhoney · 01/10/2012 09:42

On shred 2 with weights now:) plus getting hair done, waxing etc this week. Went out without make up on and felt uncomfortable which is not like me. Arrrgh it's working:) then had blueberry muffin and latte so not so good. Really struggle with water drinking, I just forget.

BookFairy · 01/10/2012 19:00

Day 85

I resisted cake at lunchtime! I've had a cold (my excuse for not restarting Shredding) but I have Yoga and night class tomorrow so I'll Shred on Wednesday. I was so unbelievably achy after my first go that I'm a bit worried about trying again! Ididn't think I was so unfit Blush

longjane · 01/10/2012 19:57

well had a weekend of chocolate and booze little excise and just resting

today back to dog walking drinking water and moisturizing
shred is still in packing but will be coming out soon when dog walking becomes easy

I really amazed still at the moisturizing of my body my skin feels so lovely

BookFairy · 01/10/2012 20:12

What's a glossybox oops? Smile

MsKayGee · 01/10/2012 23:00

Just a quick check in, haven't been on this thread for a week. Doing well with food, exfoliating, moisturising and hair removal.

Not doing well with water intake and due to going back to work full time I'm struggling to get to the gym as much as usual.

I did a boudoir photoshoot last week Blush. I had really gone for it the few weeks before with exercise, loads of water and cutting out bread, pasta, rice, potatoes and anything else that makes me feel bloated. The pics from the shoot are amazing, I look like a lingerie model, even if I do say so myself Grin

oopsiforgot · 01/10/2012 23:38

Book from what I can gather, glossybox is a subscription to a delivery of 5 different samples sized (I'm assuming they are decent sized samples) 'exclusive' beauty products, every month. I've looked at the last few months and it's everything from hair oils to false lashes to serums (which retail at >£100 for full size). Hope your feeling a bit better Wink

HelgatheHairy · 02/10/2012 10:17

Day 84

Hmm - I really need to get back on track better. Doing bits and pieces but nothing too good. Have decided to try the 5:2 diet and today is my first fast day so at least ill be drinking lots of water.

OP posts:
WhyIRayLiotta · 02/10/2012 12:47

I am also in the 'must do better' camp. Had a bold weekend with wine and takeaway. I have kept up my body brushing / exfoliating. I think I have that down now - its routine - I don't even think about it.

Today I am going to take baby for a long walk in her pram and eat healthily.
