I was thinking on my commute into work this morn how since I have been using this thread I have directly bought a number of beauty products based on recommendations from other mumsnetters Grin. I have listed below and also whether I rate them in the hope others might do the same?

Moroccon oil ? wonder product hair lost frizziness and is sleeeker, exoensive but lasts ages
Rapid Lash serum ? again great product really noticed a difference
Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation ? amazing will never go back and I had tried all the big brands. YSL, Chanel etc?
Tuban Towel - hmmm not sure on this one, normal towel was just fine
Clarins Mascara Fix Brilliant product ? keeps lashes in place with no smudging all day
Bare Mineral Mineral Veil Powder - Great stuff ? reduces shine and has a high SPF factor
Clinique City Block SPF 40 - Ok, not sure I will buy again, still searching for a high SPF day wonder product
Decleor Neroli Face Oil - Love it! New essential part of skin care routine

I am sure I will think of others?.

You know when you've had a blow dry at a salon? It makes your hair look like that. Volume & a bit of wave at the ends!

MrsCampbellBlack · 23/08/2012 17:35

Or in my case newsreader hair. Not the look i was going for. Really only works on longer hair I think.

NotYouNaanBread · 23/08/2012 17:40

I'm a newcomer to the board, but a pair of Acne pistols are definitely joining my wardrobe in September and here is definitely to blame.

I've only got one hip friend of my age in my town and FINALLY I can stop copying her all the time now that I've found here!

shelley72 · 23/08/2012 17:45

off the top of my head i have bought:
merrell wakefield coat
mumsnet scarf (grey leopard print)
m&s shaper vest thing
primark knickers!
soap and glory foot file
'lucia' handbag
hair turban towel
had my 'colours' done
sally hansen leg make up
max factor creme blusher
tinted moisturiser (from £ shop)

I have bought loads from recommendations here! Including.... Lots of Hush items, (am now a complete addict), Soap and Glory products, and my first ever pair of Celtic Sheepskin boots (never did the Ugg style before..... Also a gorgeous cardigan from Celtic Sheepskin too. I spend way too much on clothes and always have done - am still solvent though - but S and B threads are not helping at all!

WillSingForCake · 23/08/2012 20:25

Someone posted a few weeks ago about the L'Oréal Extraordinary Oil for hair, and I bought it based on their recommendation. And it's ace! My hair is softer and shinier than its ever been.

I also bought the BBH (its ok, but not as great as I thought it'd be) and the Soap & Glory foot file (fab).
