Reine, well done, blog looks great.

Suburban, glad the party went well.

Portia, lovely photo of your DD1. Trinity Ball was always a good night, well, what I remember of it!

Nice mac, MrsCB.

I ordered the IO top I linked to the other day and the white longer length top.

I think I should put the Me&Em dress money towards another pair of boots.

SeventhEverything, like your new name but I did always sing Barry White's You're the First, the Last, My Everything when I saw your previous user name. :o My DD1's favourite song is Mr Wendell. Luckily I like it too as we have to play it about 10 times a day.

Grr!!! Just lost ENORMOUS post.

Highlights were:

Weather grim. Did double ripped and have been eating popcorn with DD and DH and watching DVDs since. She loved Raiders of the Lost Ark!

Reine - Love the business idea and blog. Looks gorgeous!

MrsCB - DH has read Game of Thrones and they are in the garage somewhere awaiting me. We are watching the series, which seem v complex and he keeps on having to remind me who is related to who/has a claim on the throne/has slept with who....

Seventh - well done on getting back on the shred. Sound slike a slight shock Grin....and talking about fitness...

Hopefully - How is Insanity? Started yet? I was wondering if you have to do it everyday and how long you do each DVD for? DH is muttering about running a marathon in October and hence I may have less time when I can get out to run whilst he does that and may have to substitue with home exercise.

Dublin Meet Up! Have had a v quick initial google and it would appear that October more expensive for hotels/flights, plus probably harder for people because half term holidays at various times during it? Interested in views.

Could the Irish ladies please PM me with an hotel ideas? Central for shopping, bars and eateries is good. From previous MUs, around £180 max for a twin room per night (with breakfast) seemed to be top rate - but others please shout if I am saying too much or being too restrictive. Pool/gym are always good but probably not essential if a really cool place is available at the right place without I would have thought.

Can I ask for a role call of those who are interested, along with a preference for a month? Once we have a list we can narrow down a weekend quite quickly I think:

amber I am Shock and Grin at the though of your MIL's interior decoration.

Marsha no, it's work for me (eek!). DH is going to have some time off and do childcare (and a bit of freelance work probably) and start looking for a job once I'm established.

Suburban I would live to be right on the sea, but I expect for practicality we'll stay in town, but only a 10-15 min drive from the sea. Unless the perfect house comes up in one of the nicer seaside towns. Will link some tutorials for you later when DSs in bed.

Also quite fancy game of thrones. Since it has taken me the last month to read the first four chapters of a Christopher Brookmyre that I have read before, I think I'll leave it another 6 months or so!

SE I really like all the jumping in L3. DH and I always end up trying to out-jump one another and in giggles completely failing to complete the circuit.

NY insanity hasn't arrived yet, am really raring to get started on it now. . I think it's 6 days a week and workouts vary from 30-60 mins in length. Don't see why you couldn't do it 4-5 days a week and make it a 90 day challenge instead - will report on intensity when it arrives! Have heard that it is limited on the strength work (no weights, only own-body-weight exercises) - I got ChaLEAN Extreme (yes, really called that) cheaply on eBay the other day which I think i'll do after 60 days of insanity - it's mostly strength, from what I gather. I am wondering how my running will suffer when I start insanity - aiming to keep running 3 times a week and do sone yoga alongside, but we'll see how that goes when it comes to it!

Would love to do meet up hypothetically, but will depend on finances in coming months (for exactly the same reason as everything!) will see how finances and availability look when dates are set.

Hopefully · 29/04/2012 18:37

Cross post - SE I think you'd have to seriously cane it on the diet/protein shakes to end up looking like that on under an hour's (mostly cardio) exercise a day. Also, while I in no way look like the 'after' pic, I can make myself look far more muscly than I am by standing right and tensing everything. They are all so tenses that they look constipated in the 'after' photos! I expect a bit of airbrushing and fake tab could get me closer to the 'after' pic too Grin.

Hopefully · 29/04/2012 18:38

tensed

Fake tan

Stupid phone.

rufus101 · 29/04/2012 20:29

Will put thinking hat on NY although have a feeling that Portia and Verity will be way better at it.

Anywhere rather than the 'guesthouse' in Dun Laoghaire I had to stay in unexpectedly on my one and only visit - complete with poo in the communal bath in the morning. Oh how I've lived Wink

Bloss eww Grin. I've been to Dublin once age 9. I remember getting into big trouble mucking around with my siblings.

Hopefully wow Good one! Big good luck for the move and new job.

I've been doing Shred nearly every day (do I have to do it every day for it to work?) and I really want something with more cardio. I like the abs too. I'm going to up the running for cardio. I'd just liked to be toned and svelte really.

rufus101 · 29/04/2012 21:09

Jeepers Bloss now there's exciting for you!
Obviously I'm up for November meet!
I don't think £180 will be difficult.

blossoming · 29/04/2012 21:16

It was a long time ago. Haven't thought about it in years! I am going through Expedia looking at flights plus hotel combo. The hotel I'm looking at right now looks amazing! Will pm you ny.

Morning all! There is actual blue skies and sunshine outside my window. Apparently it isn't going to last beyond today, but I have celebrated by wearing my silk inwear skirt which a floral pattern....but hedged my bets with blue opaques!

Hope the celebration of all things orange (and the Quen!) goes well Ollie.

Annie - you are working so hard. Really hope you emerge out of the other side soon and can catch up on some family time - and sleep!

MIM - still thinking of you and hope you are feeling ok and have plenty of snuggles with your gorgeous family.

Emo76 · 30/04/2012 10:31

annie that's VERY intense re hours. sending you a coffee! good luck!

I have a reiss credit note to spend, this top looks nice these flats not too taken with a lot on offer from Reiss this season, most of the dresses are really "sweaty" fabric.

Hopefully · 30/04/2012 10:52

Annie I hope you have some downtime scheduled into the not-too-distant future! You work so hard Smile.

It is beautiful here today. Tragically we arranged to go to a soft play when the forecast was bad, and now DS1 is so excited about it I don't have the heart to cancel. Lots of outside time this morning and afterwards though.

The weather really has left me in a style dead zone - am completely flummoxed by today's sun after a week of rain. Am stuck in uniform of red j brands, racer back vest and either linen biker or cashmere boyfriend cardigan and winter coat. Sigh.

Emo76 · 30/04/2012 10:59

Emo, nice top but can't open the shoes link. 'Emerald Isle' makes Ireland sound so appealing...haven't been back since my mum died 3 years ago Sad.

Annie, I'm guessing that the upside to all this work you're doing could be dropping a few lbs - watch out it's not too many. Good luck for the final straight.

Everything, there's being stylish when cycling and then there's cycling in a pencil skirt - don't do it! Get some dayglo legging instead.

bretonbee · 30/04/2012 13:34

AmberNectarine · 30/04/2012 16:29

Oh she has got to be joking... Just admit it WIT!!

Decameron · 30/04/2012 16:38

Pickles, sorry about your mother. Do you have any other family in Ireland?

Bloss, I hope you complained in that guesthouse!

I don't think I will make the meet up in Nov as I will be taking the DDs for half-term and at Christmas, and DH is not overly keen on me skipping out for weekends. In fairness, he doesn't do it either. I don't need a hotel though so maybe could work on him nearer the time.

Annie, hope you get some rest tonight.

Yeah, WIT really looks pregnant now.

Nice to see the sun again and wear a summer top!
