Morning!

Gosh annie that is so full on,imagine if you weren't loving your job!Am glad you have a little pick me up in the form of the uniqueen blazer..good spot there.

mim I really do hope you will return to the thread soon but I understand it's hard to not 'feel what you feel' despite others reassurances.I ended up with 2 caesareans which is pretty pedestrian where I live in London but when I visited a friend in another part of London and everyone at the children's party was talking abut their home births I was terrified someone might grill me and relieved I lived where I live!so maybe the people around you are doing different things and that can feel hard.I would say do that old thing of imagine your story was a friend's story and maybe that will help you to think more kindly of the situation.xx

I'm sorry I didn't get back to post about my project till now,it has been a full on week.I didn't get my cava,I had a bad headache and crashed out early then Friday night I caught up with DH as we have barely seen eachother this week, yesterday children's party etc etc but ta-da!I have finally started my blog about it and so hopefully those of you I know on facebook can get that link from my promo page..

ReineDeSaba · 29/04/2012 06:10

love all the MU potentials..think of the outfits and amber that blog would be great though I hope you are not looking at me when you are talking about all ages

ReineDeSaba · 29/04/2012 06:21

I'm sorry for your friends' losses nsg and blue great that you are there for them and have been given such amazing advice from ants and bloss who are living with those losses.

Portia4 · 29/04/2012 08:04

Hi Reine, another early riser here! Can you pm me a link to your blog, I would love to follow you, I also run my own business.

Today I am going shopping and hope to buy some nude heels, they are probabley a bit last year but featured on every blog and I think would be useful.

OllieinOrange · 29/04/2012 08:23

Oh Reine Fabulous idea. Really, really fabulous. Im sure it will be a huge success. Clever you.

Do you want it kept quiet on here for now????

OllieinOrange · 29/04/2012 08:34

Had a lovely day out in Antwerp yesterday with my lovely friend who loves shopping as much as I do. Did me the world of good. Lovely city, great shops, good lunch and relaxing company.
Marsha you would love it - one street contains Maje, Sandro, Day Burger et Mikkelson etc. Fab.

No real purchases worth a big mention (stuff for DSs from Zara, replacement white and blue breton from Esprit and a white v neck linen jumper from H&M which was a bargainous tenner in the sale - think it was old stock so a lucky random find)

Quiet day today - have stort through old toys etc in preparation for Queens Day tomorrow- boys are selling things at the childrens market at the end of the street. They have euro signs in their eyes so need to keep a close eye at what gets put out for sale!

AntPants1 · 29/04/2012 09:14

reine am I intrigued. Can I be in on the secret. I don't do FB I am afraid. Could you PM or email me???!!!x

Portia4 · 29/04/2012 09:35

Dh gone hiking, DDs still in bed, pot of earl grey, Sunday papers, radio on my station, bliss!

pickledsiblings · 29/04/2012 09:41

Annie, good to hear from you, your clothes audit made me smile -'really old and shagged'.

Ollie, Antwerp sounds great, just what you needed.

Reine, a new business venture and a matching blog - you're a whirlwind! I wish you the absolute best of luck with it all Smile .

Have lovely Sundays All.

pickledsiblings · 29/04/2012 09:43

Portia, enjoy your 20 minutes of bliss Smile.

Hopefully · 29/04/2012 09:50

Reine can you PM me a blog link?

Annie hope you manage to squeeze in some rest at some point.

Emo I was surprised how nice Exeter was - I went to Southampton and it was such a very student city that there was no money there at all and it was a bit grotty, was worried Exeter would be the same.

I have just (look away now if you're squeamish) stabbed myself in the finger with a pin and then ripped it out sideways (all by mistake, I hasten to add). Am sewing the ugliest fold up train play mat for DS1 (it has pockets for trains and cars. I am rather proud of this). Needless to say, he chose the fabric. I'm not sure the blood spots really add anything to the design...

ReineDeSaba · 29/04/2012 10:13

Gah..I am so crappola at this technology thing..have two finger typed pms to those who requested and friended emo and portia on facebook.

I am blogging trying to set up business rather than a finished product..it will be a very steep learning curve.

Am off to a trade show today and wanted to gussy myself up to get some freebies

Hopefully · 29/04/2012 10:20

Wow, Reine fab idea! And fab blog, it all looks great. I will get tweeting and commenting on it Smile.

Sewing this hideous monstrosity play mat is amazingly rewarding, because every time DS1 comes into my workroom he practically bounces with excitement at it. It is seriously the most vile piece of fabric I have ever worked with. I am usually more of a linen and Liberty print kind of girl when it comes to sewing.

Oh, hopefully don't exaggerate. There isn't a single piece of furnishing at my MIL's in a more tasteful print than that...

MarshaBrady · 29/04/2012 12:14

Oh Ollie that sounds wonderful, I could do with a lovely Antwerp MU. Something a bit lower key than our usual place, cosy but still with a little bit of bubble.

Amber my turn to be green, lucky you with a Matches close by. Love the cardigan.

Reine intriguing! be great to hear all about it.

Hopefully love the sound of new exciting things afoot. Is it a new job for your dh?

suburbanstyle · 29/04/2012 13:02

Ollie you have got me hankering to go back to Antwerp now, I used to be able to see the Missoni shop from my bedroom window. Sadly I spent most of my time there pregnant and thus vomitting/fainting in public. There is a Veuve Cliquot Bar shaped like a champagne glass inside a beautiful shopping centre which I imagine would be perfect for a meetup. It also does amazing plates of salami and cheese cubes Grin.

There's a Bicesteralike outlet village near Antwerp as well. I think it must be owned by the same company because it look exactly the same and has similar shops.

Reine I am also intrigued, could you send me a PM too please?

Thank you all again for party suggestions, chocolate coin hunt went down a treat Smile

I am obsessing over this blog at the moment and wondering what shade her lipstick is.

Hopefully, move sounds so exciting will you be near the sea? You sounds so talented I have a sewing machine, but haven't got further than making DD a xmas stocking. Do you know any easy tutorials I would love to branch out a bit.

MrsCampbellBlack · 29/04/2012 13:15

I am utterly beyond this weather now.

Sick of it I tell you.

All I am doing is reading Game of Thrones and baking and eating and then eating some more.

Sigh.

Bored of it.

suburbanstyle · 29/04/2012 13:21

Grin MrsCB DP had to take me for a "drive" earlier after I confessed to not having left house since Wednesday afternoon Blush

MrsCampbellBlack · 29/04/2012 13:22

Have ordered mac from pure collection as its single breasted and non-belted and now gazing at pistols again.

Its nearly May - why am I gazing at boots.

Someone told me yesterday its going to be the coldest May in years [joy] [grumpy]

blossoming · 29/04/2012 13:52

I think I can see sleet falling outside my window.

rufus101 · 29/04/2012 14:25

It's bloody freezing here today as well. What's the story? Every year I fall into the trap of buying nice clothes and sandals and then only get to wear them when I am on holiday.
MCB is Game of Thrones good? I'm not really a Scifi or fantasy genre type, but I am tempted by it.
Beyond excited at the thought of a Dublin MU! Cannot.Wait!
Reine will you pm me too? I am intrigued as well.
