Since I have become obsessed with this blog have started to wonder about some wedge trainers - particularly these ones

So has anyone got them - do you wear them a lot? I like how they're styled with white skinnies and can envisage wearing them a fair bit . . .

I have these I love them. Have been wearing them a lot.

I've been complimented. Quite a few people I know have them although do work in fashion industry and live in London. They are really comfy and make your legs look much better than a normal trainer would. I have ever worn them with some day dresses.

Is she an MNer, the blog woman? She has the MN scarf in more than one colourway Wink

pinktortoise · 19/04/2012 14:00

I have them in khaki canvas. They are great. Wore them with skinnies and chinos last year. Have converse too but sometimes want abit more height and they feel more glam. Love that blog ,very much the style I like. How do you sign up for new blogs?

AlpinePony · 19/04/2012 14:15

No. Unless you're going to the gym with Romy & Michelle.

PerryCombover · 19/04/2012 15:15

Arf

noddyholder · 19/04/2012 15:15

I am not keen think they look a bit primark Shock Generally love Ash shoes though just not those.

drywhiteplease · 19/04/2012 15:23

Which blog? Which blog? Am loving "does my bum look 40 in this?" along with all my other fav blogs. Just wish I had her legs.

Btw notyummy I am scared of white skinnies but bought white straight cut instead....sod it, there are bigger bums out there than mine!!Grin and if mrsCB thinks you can wear them I'd trust her judgement .

Decameron · 19/04/2012 15:25

Cocosa have Ash wedges from time to time. I don't have them but thinking of getting them.

MrsCampbellBlack · 19/04/2012 15:27

A bit primark - I wouldn't know as never go in there Wink

Well am going to try them on and see.

I like them but wouldn't wear them. I probably would have a couple of years ago though so it's a 'Yes' from me.

Being an old gimmer, I love the flat non-high top Ash ones and am now debating the merits of the taupe over the navy.

And I love, love, love that blog. It's my new favourite. She shares my scarf-love. I would wear both skinny white jeans and wedge trainers if I had her legs or just walk about in my pants.

noddyholder · 19/04/2012 15:50

I do as I love the marl t shirts for every day. The brighton one has those wedge trainers and they are v similar.

noddyholder · 19/04/2012 15:51

winefairy those are lovely

drywhiteplease · 19/04/2012 15:51

Which blog?????SGS?SG?WIT?

MrsCampbellBlack · 19/04/2012 16:03

Its does my bum look 40 in this drywhite.

Noddy - there's no primark near me otherwise am sure I'd go in.

If only I had legs like blog lady - she was surely a model in her former life . . .

OP posts:
CointreauVersial · 19/04/2012 16:25

I don't know if blog lady is on MN, but she is certainly a friend of a MNer.

MrsCampbellBlack · 19/04/2012 16:28

Ooooh intriguing Cointreau . . .

winefairy · 19/04/2012 16:30

Thanks, noddy. Grin Was considering Superga until MrsCB's link and I spied those. I believe they were actually calling to me.

You're right, Cointreau. Someone on the style blog thread recommended "Does My Bum..' and said it was a friend.

CointreauVersial · 19/04/2012 16:34

Mrs CB - she's too stylish to be MY friend. Grin

pluckingupcourage · 19/04/2012 16:36

I like the Isabel Marant wedge trainers. They will never be mine unfortunately.

noddyholder · 19/04/2012 16:50

Liberty are doing some vintagey fabric trainers there are wedges there too

FoofFighterYNWAJFT96 · 19/04/2012 17:24

Just loved the way she said the MN scarf was sourced in Hong Kong rather than from off ebay Grin
