Not very inspiring- think the tiredness is showing!

Trying to think of jokes for fritzi... (realising I'm crap at jokes)
Very excited you don't think that anorak is too mumsy red, fle and decam. You are so not mumsy decam. Classic beauty I'd say! The sad truth of the matter is that I need a light anorak with hood for the Welsh spring/summer. I may buy.
Further Johnnie B news: the combat shorts in dune are fab and I replaced the long skinny vests from xl to l. Love them in grey and navy, will send the white one back. I look dreadful in white till about May, then I wear it all the time!
What I need is a graphic print mostly navy colour scarf, possibly silk, but oversized, and burgundy vests, tees

blossoming · 09/03/2012 20:49

I keep remembering things I've read today. Loved your fringe reference anjum, and love seeing posts from ants and emo at the weekend. Looking forward to catching up with you both next week.
marsha, your links sound amazing, iPhone not opening them though. We have different clothing styles but I really admire your love of colour.
If I lived in Sweden I would wear Nordic jumpers all.the.time!!

Decameron · 09/03/2012 20:49

Hmm, just read the Marni thread. MrsCB, I admire your restraint.

Bloss, why, thank you. :) How about this scarf? Though wool and silk.

Decameron · 09/03/2012 20:50

Really like that navy skirt, EMo.

MrsCampbellBlack · 09/03/2012 20:52

Makes you realise an awful lot of people read this thread though Smile

nice summer top from Warehouse - Ants?!

Hopefully · 09/03/2012 20:58

Emo that skirt is so pretty!

Have wasted a bit of time on Dressipi and am reasonably impressed, but it is only at about a 40% success rate of things I like so far.

Slay we didn't get terribly far with plans, but mostly just realised that it was v expensive there! Current relocation possibility of the west country a fraction more tame Grin.

Annoyingly no news back from possible job people re salary for DH, so another weekend of limbo before a decision is made. Going fabric shopping tomorrow to distract myself. May also look at clothes a little bit. Maybe.

Hopefully · 09/03/2012 21:04

Meant to say, has anyone seen the new massively long and elaborate Cartier advert? It's lovely. Can't like on stupid iPad, but search You Tube for l'Odyssee de Cartier (I think). It just came on in the middle of New Girl.

OllieinOrange · 09/03/2012 21:06

Bloss i need a new blue based scarf as well. My Boden white with blue butterflies one from last year just looks very worn now (white is now an off white). Would like something that also looks ok with a breton top. Not silk though.
I liked your Burberry link at lot. My trawl of the new Next stuff earlier threw up this olive jacket which i liked a lot, just not the colour for me. Now if they had it in blue or grey.....

emo what a great skirt, I like a lot and loved how you wore it today.

DH out, just cooked a load of pasta with a blue cheese sauce and channel hopping. Watching an amazing documentary called Grizzly Man about a man that lived and eventually died living with bears in the wild. Another wild night in the Ollie house then!

Decameron · 09/03/2012 21:08

Hopefully, yes, I love that ad.

MrsCampbellBlack · 09/03/2012 21:08

Ollie - I have this scarf and the colours are gorgeous - works very well with grey and navy tops. Think we're fairly similar colouring . . .

Emo76 · 09/03/2012 21:13

Ollie you're in good "company" as it's another cray-zee night here at Emo towers, I have.......wait for it.........done some carpet cleaning and a load of laundry. This wild city life...

Dh is snoozing beside me on sofa pretending to watch a film. Early night here all round.

Can't wait for the meet up!

AmberNectarine · 09/03/2012 21:35

Have recovered a bit, thank goodness. Have been crap mummy extraordinaire, stuck Cars on and plonked them both in the ball pool while I lay stricken on the sofa until DH came home. Thanks for the wise advice, in the end the best I could rustle up was a bag of peas...

Decameron · 09/03/2012 21:37

MrsCB, I know, it puts me off a bit.

I'm off to bed as fear my little darling will wake at 5am (wild here too)

OllieinOrange · 09/03/2012 21:42

Oh thats pretty Mrs CB Had planned to have a look in Whistles next Saturday so will look out for it. Thank you.
Loved the Marni thread and have really enjoyed reading the various fashion blogs with pics of happy customers wearing purchases. Plum you looked great in your necklace.

Slay ive visted and travelled around Sweden a couple of times and loved it. You probably know all this but people very friendly, gorgeous cities and countryside but eye wateringly expensive. Limited English spoken tho and obviously difficult to learn! Maybe worth posting on the Living Overseas board for more views from people that live there?

Amber meant to ask how you were doing. Nowt wrong with a bit of Cars to keep the little ones happy. Do what you have to do.

FritziGreenEyes · 09/03/2012 22:11

Rock'n'roll chez Fritzi too: Back home, heels kicked off, on the sofa watching TV with DH and having a glass of wine.

Catching up with thread now Smile

Hopefully · 09/03/2012 22:19

Thoroughly rock 'n' roll here too. I am watching (I think) the second Transformers film. The special effects are truly spectacular, but I have literally no idea what the plot is either. DH, even cooler than me, went to bed at 9:45.

Amber glad you're a bit better. Survival is the name of the game when you feel like that, sounds like Cars was a good call!

VerityBrulee · 09/03/2012 23:25

Oooh, Dominic West on Graham Norton Smile I knew him in Trinity, his signiature look was grotty tweed coat and greasy bob! V romantic story though, he had v tempestuous relationship with v glam slightly ditzy girl. They broke up and soon after graduating she married a much older man. They divorced after some years, she and Dominic got back together and are now married with 3 under 4. Aaah Smile

I have had multiple servings of lasagne and cake and now need to be rolled up to bed. No skinny jeans tomorrow I fear.

Glad you are over the headache amber, hope you'll be having a lie in tomorrow.

Thinking of you mim and icey Smile

AntPants1 · 10/03/2012 00:52

Am back from night out with very good and longstanding girlfriends..school friends. Am very drunk, singing kate bush and chuckling to myself...x

MarshaBrady · 10/03/2012 07:28

Thanks Bloss! Your EA style is fabulous. In fact one of my favourites things is that everyone has their own great style. Makes me think of this

Dove grey Helmut Lang, sequins, gorgeous print, pretty and feminine, hot shot, red dress, very chic, good colour so on

Ants sounds lovely.

Verity how funny about the bob but nice about the get back together.

Amber hope you are feeling better.

Have decided against the two bags. It's feeling difficult finding this new bag no wonder I rarely buy them!

Decameron · 10/03/2012 07:49

Marsha, I have exactly the opposite problem, keep seeing bags I like. I have to remind myself that I can only carry one at a time (maybe two!).

Ants, hope you get a lie in this morning. Sounds like a good night.

I read that he went to Trinity, Verity and sadly I don't remember him at all.

MidnightinMoscow · 10/03/2012 08:02

Quickly running in to say lots of luck to Icey today for your induction. Hope things go well and it won't be long now until your baby arrives.

No news here, off to do an energectic Waitrose shop and hoping my waters go in there!!
