Not very inspiring- think the tiredness is showing!

Fritzi it's hard enough to keep up you do so well.

MiM thinking of you over next few days.

Momin Wendy has great style, as do you. Smile

In the sunshine sporting new Celine bag. So light can hardly feel it. Better than lugging extra kilos on the shoulder.

blossoming · 19/03/2012 09:19

Morning all. Just reporting in quickly before I go to work, late start on Mondays thankfully.
Couldn't see your M&S link ollie, but really liked the grey tegan dress. I've said this before, but tegan is a welsh word for doll, which I find really weird. Also, How much? for the yellow dress?

I need a navy cardigan to go over shorts and vests if it's chilly when I'm on holiday in 2 weeks. So looking forward to it. Any links gratefully received. Oh and proper navy obviously...
Glad you got home okay apuski and hope you feel better. You too red, hope your throat feels better today.
fritzi, you do amazingly well, your English is fantastic: you put me to shame.

OllieinOrange · 19/03/2012 09:21

Bugger. Had the OK scarf I wanted in my shopping basket, browsed the rest of the collection (you have to click on each item to see all the colourways), went back to buy and its sold out. All within 10 mins. Ebay it is then!

blue2711 · 19/03/2012 09:32

fritzi I had no idea English isn't your first language! Wow.

Thanks for the suggestions mrscb. My current pair are baxters but bit too low rise for me now I think.

marsha so pleased you're happy with your new bag. Would you mind linking to it please? I seem to have missed it and would love to see it.

mom jealous of both beautiful prada dress and your likeness to Wendy!

Sunny but chilly here today. Still in pyjamas but planning on bright pink 811s, grey jumper and black lace pretty ballerina flats. I never wear the latter as I'm not keen on the toe shape so if I don't like them today it's off to eBay they go.

Wishing you a peaceful day mim.

Hopefully · 19/03/2012 09:41

Oh, what a pain Ollie!

Love the grey Tegan dress, but nothing on the website that would suit me.

Fritzi you are so fluent it is easy to forget you're not a native speaker Smile

Mom how exciting! Bet SA tries to sell you multiple accessories and cover ups.

Blue you are a saint! I don't think I had anyone except my mother stay for about three months after giving birth, and anyone who visited was directed to the kettle and biscuits and told to sort themselves out Grin

I am stylishly attired in pyjamas and boyfriend cardigan. DS2 is asleep and DS1 is actually entertaining himself with stickers (albeit right next to me), so am having a relaxing morning. Will have to dress myself at some stage to meet up with friend who had her colours done on the weekend

FritziGreenEyes · 19/03/2012 09:46

blue Thanks, I'm trying to hide it as best as I can Wink. Love the sound of your outfit for later.

Saw this bag at the airport yesterday. The colours on the website are not half as lush as they are in RL. The electric blue with the orange stitching is particularly nice! The zip pouch inside is just a genius idea.

Yes, also on lookout for cardis - navy and burgundy here if anyone spots!

MarshaBrady · 19/03/2012 11:08

Blue thanks! For some reason Matches, Céline, Selfridges all do not have it in their online sites. But I was looking at this photographer for something else and noticed this advert;

Céline in orange.

In the thumbnail images scroll along to the image of the small bags lined up together and I got the orange one.

Usual bright sort of thing that I love. I love Céline bags now and may have found my bag 'type'. We are saving atm for various big things so I do have to be good!

Love the colour of the LK bags.

A number on eBay already ollie

OllieinOrange · 19/03/2012 14:32

Am Angry with my Mum. She has told my sister that she would rather stay in a hotel than stay here at the house when she next visits. Thats fine I guess (she has never liked our house - its old, has high ceilings and wooden floors and its on 3 levels - all wrong apparently) but just wish she would talk to me directly. She hasnt visited since last August or seen the kids since Dec and hasnt mentioned visiting despite booking 2 other holidays for April and May.

Just very disappointed in her.

Russianred · 19/03/2012 14:42

Oh Ollie am sorry she has let you down like that - my Mum has a habit of talking about us with the other sisters and it's very, very frustrating. Are you going to call her on it?

Am feeling much better today Bloss, thank you - just rather hoarse. The colour of the Vince jeans is lovely.

Glad to hear the Joseph jumper is already in use Fritzi - much better to be used and loved in your wardrobe than languishing resented in mine!

Glad the party went well Annie - did DD like all of her new clothes?

My sister is in hospital in Kenya, where she has been on a work trip, with some kind of parasitic thing I can't remember the name of. She's on a drip and they're trying to fly her home ASAP. She's very petite and also TTC, so could really do without it. Hope she's home soon.

notyummy · 19/03/2012 14:54

Sorry to hear that about your mum ollie - not surprised you are cross. Surely it's a only a few days a year she would be staying in your house? I don't understand what the problem could be (unless it was someone with an allergy and there was a whole load of pets etc.)

Hope your sister makes it home soon Red - it does sound a bit worrying.

So glad the party went well Annie - sounds busy!

Working at home today and intermittantly packing stuff for Big Trip. Just waiting for DH to come home later and say 'why do you need x/y/z...?' and try and take things back out again Grin. At the moment I am taking 2 pairs of flat sandals, black canvas shoes, trainers for running and one pair of wooden heels (in addition to boots I am wearing to travel in.) For three weeks I believe I am being a shoe saint. DH will probably wonder why I need 3 pairs of flat options.....and there-in lies the fundamental difference between us Wink I also sense he may try and undertake some maxi dress number pruning.....

Sorry I didn`t get on yesterday to comment on MU no internet !

Very worrying about your sister Red my DP once spent 10 weeks in tropical disease hospital so can understand the trauma, best wishes for a speedy recovery to her.

Meet up outfits sound a mixture of fierce and lush.. Envy at all the shopping.

Glad the mini meets went well Amber you got there and Decameron enjoyed lunch with the girls.

Mothers day went well love your DD comment NY

Annie well done on your large party my house would be full with that amount.

Its my birthday today so although have cards up holding out for pressies until DP returns.

Slaymill · 19/03/2012 15:02

Sorry also about your mum Olllie they just get a bit set in their ways as they get older. Agree you should think about the bag v watch they both have their merits.

Also all change on the bag front bloss undecided on her dream bag

Celine gorgeous Marsha it looks similar to the Chloe.

Tis tricky. The trainers are naff, naff, naff - bought very much because they are excellent running footwear, but not for use outside a gym/run. Must have them though because the idea of no exercise for 3 weeks sends me into a decline. Possible option to lose one pair of flat sandals. I do want to have 'proper' shoes or boots with me, as looking at the weather where we are going, it is currently ranging from sunshine and 31 degrees, (Singapore and Sunshine Coast) to 14 degrees, windy and wet Hmm in Melbourne. Genuinely need footwear for all occasions m'lud. (That is what I will be telling DH!)

AntPants1 · 19/03/2012 16:25

ollie am so sorry your mum has let you down. Do you feel up to calling it as red suggested. May not change anything but at least you have got it off your chest. Thanks for M&S trip. Will check out.

red so sorry about your sister. Hope she is home and better soon.

mom I had no idea you did not know who wendy was. You must have thought we were loons!

fritzi your English is amazing. Much better than mine.

annie glad party went off well. I missed you at MU!

mim not long to go. Am so excited for you.

blue2711 · 19/03/2012 17:06

marsha the bag is gorgeous and love the colour.

ny I'm with you on shoe saintliness! I often take 5 pairs for a long weekend... So jealous of your trip, both location and length. DH can only be persuaded to go away for 5 days max at the minute (told you he was a workaholic). But we do go away quite a lot, in fact he's keen to book our next trip to Majorca for may/June. I'm quite nervous about the idea of travelling with two and DD so little - may take MiL with us!

blue2711 · 19/03/2012 17:09

Happy birthday slay. Hope you get some fab presents; do report back.

Sorry to hear about your mum ollie, can quite understand why you feel hurt.

Hope your sister is home and well soon red

MidnightinMoscow · 19/03/2012 17:20

Many happy returns Slay, hope you have some lovely presents later today.

Ollie, how awful of your Mother to relay that information via your Sister - very hurtful. What would her reaction be if you confronted her?

Red, your poor Sister, you must be worried. Fingers crossed she is home soon.

NY I have no advice re the shoes, I am a terrible packer. Cram 'em in I say. Smile

Went to TS to get the discounted red Jamies today - none left whatsoever. That's what you get for not grabbing something when you see it.

Breton fans - Whistles have a beautiful Breton dress in, but not on any websites atm. It's scooped necked, but V backed and has pockets at the front. Very nice.

Thanks for all the good wishes, having a restful afternoon of bath, magazines etc.

FritziGreenEyes · 19/03/2012 18:18

Happy Birthday slay!

Stella sale on the Outnet if anyone is interested.

ollie I'm just speechless... How unbelievably thoughtless of your mother. Don't let it get to you. Easier said than done, I know

ants I so enjoyed talking to you on Saturday. Smile

notyummy For SA I wore a pair of black ballet flats for the flights and had another pair of ballet flats in silver with me (only wore twice), a pair of white plimsolls (only worn on safari trips), a pair of silver flip-flops (worn every day during the day) and a pair of embellished flat thong sandals (worn every night). Not sure that helps as I didn't take any exercise shoes and knew the weather would be great. I also didn't need to dress up so left heels at home but you might need them for wearing maxis.

annie Love the sound of your party!

red You poor sister. Hope she gets back home soon!

I swear, if DH attempts to 'improve' the computer ever again, I'm calling a divorce lawyer. I have just lost an hour's work and, more importantly, a really long post because of his desire to 'improve' it after the last debacle which resulted in me wielding a screwdriver at the computer's innards (with success, I might add).

I will be back later after some deep breathing.
