Not very inspiring- think the tiredness is showing!

A very happy birthday Verity - outfit and birthday plans all sound lovely.

Rufus I forgot to say how your kind and generous words on the old thread made my day when I read them. Thank you.

Fritzi I can really see you in the maxi you linked too. Great print. I avoid telling my Mum about things too - in fact, she has no idea about me abandoning Dh and DSs and coming to London!

Ants Stella and Dot party sounds great. Hope to see some of your spoils at the MU?

Decameron · 09/03/2012 15:32

Rufus, that's funny, we still have Sprite in the fridge from when I was ill (which DH insisted would be good for me). It is disgusting, I couldn't bring myself to drink it.

Ants, the party sounds great. You must be looking forward to your time off.

Dressipi just recommended these trousers to me. I'm thinking NO.

notyummy · 09/03/2012 15:36

Decameron - that link just goes to the Mango homepage, however I am wondering if we got the same recommendations as I am not a disimilar size/shape to you I think? I got Mango trousers and also some rather tight fitting Zara ones with a very loud print that I thought might not do my bottom and thighs any favour at all. That said, I have never tried any like that so perhaps they might have a camouflage effect!

Decameron · 09/03/2012 15:44

Ooops, NY, they recommended an absolutely hideous pair of palazzo pants in loud colours. So awful they are funny.

AmberNectarine · 09/03/2012 16:02

Any migraine sufferers got any suggestions for a breastfeeder? Got one coming on strong...

Hopefully · 09/03/2012 17:16

Oh Amber you poor thing Sad. No idea what you can take, sorry.

MrsCB how scary for your friend, docs seem to be able to do amazing things, so hopefully it will all work out ok.

Absolutely knackered, but need to Shred this evening. Have PMT-bloat but also suspect that I have gained weight this week. Boo.

Hi everyone. Feeling really behind on the thread.
Laughing at ollie's drama though, and at the Irish girls. I do love the 'local colour' on this thread!
verity, happy birthday: how lovely and stylish you sound today!
Big Shock and Grin at pickled
Yes, my plans have been scuppered. I should be heading to Cardiff with an excited 7yr old and dh, heading for dinner with my really good friends, before staying the night and browsing JL in the morning, then match in the afternoon.
DD has been really poorly. She seems to be coming round though now. We have decided to go in the morning, leaving dd with my mum very early and do the 7hr round trip in one day. I will barely have time to have lunch with my friends before going to the match then heading home. Never mind. At least she's better, and I've booked mil again for Monday.
Let's hope all is well with everyone before next weekend!
On that note, and with an eye on the school run outfit I linked to the other day, I may not buy a trench after all. I may just buy new buckles (should be easy right hopefully), and buy something like this. Or is it too mumsy for words?
Good birthing vibes to icey for tomorrow and to mim. Can't be long now!

Slaymill · 09/03/2012 18:13

I`m looking to some alone time this weekend.. might even tackle a home pedicure..the luxury !

Love the Navy dress Decameron but, its sold out in an 8/10. DP wants to move to Sweden I don`t ..though I might go for a yr so we can do some serious saving.

MiM great story Grin I can`t believe their cheek.

hopefully genigel is very good and comes in a mouthwash too. It helped DP who suffered and thought he would lose a tooth.

Stella Dot Party sounds fun ants easy to get carried away with all those lovelies.

I tried the NL boots on red they don`t suit me either weird and heavy.

Slaymill · 09/03/2012 18:18

Amber have you got any bruise soother in the freezer ?. Warm it slighty then try that on forehead. Peppermint is also good on the temples rubbed in slowly. Try one drop at a time.

Kool n Soothe is the name of a brand in Boots if someone can pop out for you.

NYE bwah ha ha ha ha at being unsustainably low weight! I've lost some weight, but not that much since you last saw me Grin

Think I may complain about the dentist, feel very short changed by the service, wish I'd stayed private.

Slay Sweden is meant to be lovely, but agree it's not somewhere I'd like to be long term. DH was offered a job there a couple of years ago so we looked into it.

MarshaBrady · 09/03/2012 18:43

Fritzi did you decide on tights for MU? I'm not sure what to wear with blush Stella M dress.

I really want to find this mythical bag before then. Ah it's becoming my version of the dress for Ollie / NYE etc

Has anyone seen this Balenciaga hip bag in rl? I am still not sure about Balenciaga for me.

MarshaBrady · 09/03/2012 18:44

I also finally found the Phillip Lim softest of soft leather clutch. But it is rather more oversized than I remember.

Slaymill · 09/03/2012 18:56

We are going for a hoilday/ recce in June hopefully did you find anything interesting ? Shame it isn`t a tax haven though.

Sorry cross post bloss have fun tomorrow best laid plans and things !

MrsCampbellBlack · 09/03/2012 19:21

Fingers crossed Everything - she did well to get this far as has been in hospital for the past 8 weeks.

I am so buying the whistles lace blouse when it hits the site - there's also a dress version which would be lovely as a chic wedding dress.

MrsCampbellBlack · 09/03/2012 19:23

I prefer the Celine shopper Marsha.

Emo76 · 09/03/2012 19:54

hello all
Got this navy lace skirt from Mango and love it - wore to work with white shirt, felt quite spring like.

stopped by sweaty betty on way home and got some socks and a gym bag (I am not a member of a gym but want something to store my things in at home and inspire me- slightly sad loser emoticon?!)

thanks for the Marni spot pickles I was too late to the party, am in awe of those who organised themselves to be - very avid and wise!

the lady presenting the one show has a nice style purple dress on

wine time!

FritziGreenEyes · 09/03/2012 19:55

I'm bored at a house warming party DH dragged me to. Took 40 minutes to find a parking space for the car and I am designated driver. Will make an effort to talk to people now but sometimes the whole where-do-you-live-how-old-are-your-children etc etc is just sooo tiring. Looking forward to meeting some of my lovely W&A friends next week Smile

MarshaBrady · 09/03/2012 19:58

Thanks MrsCB.

I hope your friend's little baby is ok and yours too FLE, so little.

I'm looking forward to it too, have been given so much work lately. Can't wait until it passes.

MarshaBrady · 09/03/2012 19:58

I really like the skirt Emo.

MrsCampbellBlack · 09/03/2012 20:01

Oh lovely skirt Emo Smile

Decameron · 09/03/2012 20:06

It is a beautiful top, MrsCB. Hope your friend's baby thrives.

I'd like to go to Sweden. We were supposed to move to Zurich a few years ago but the job fell through last minute.

Bloss, have a good day tomorrow. I really like that jacket, don't think it is mumsy at all, it's my kind of style. Perhaps I am mumsy and don't realise.

Fritzi, grit your teeth!

Russianred · 09/03/2012 20:12

Hope all these little babies are ok - what a scary time.

I really like that coat Bloss - wouldn't say it was Mumsy at all.

Can very much see you in the Whistles top MrsCB. Nice work on Marni thread; I had to bite my tongue.

Emo what a beautiful new skirt and a lovely showcase outfit for it.

I am babysitting again (doing it tomorrow night too and next Friday, all for different neighbours/friends - what a people-pleaser I am). At least it is babysitting in the bank for when we need it (whenever that might be...)

Hope the party perks up Fritzi!
