Not very inspiring- think the tiredness is showing!

Bon voyage Ollie!

OllieinOrange · 17/03/2012 06:56

At airport too. Had a mini panic in car park over weather conditions (warm and v sunny here bah!) and threw wool peacoat over blazer and now am sweating profusly quite frankly! My gate is the opposite end of the airport to hermes but just legged it down there (hence sweating). Bloody cheeky tho, cape cod is 300e more than in standard jewellery shops here and you only get 10% off if u fly outside of eu!

In desperate need of a cuppa. Am over guilty feelings about trip already tho did have a wobble when ds1 woke himself up early to remind me which magazine he wanted me to buy in uk. It was the way he stood there with his sticky up hair, rubbing his eyes, soooooo cute!

Portia4 · 17/03/2012 07:07

Oops meant to say Bon Voyage Fritzi! and of course you too Ollie!
As my Dad used to always remind us as kids , 'it may be duty free, but it's not profit free!' Having said that, my Dad has done deals in the duty free on expensive items for my Mum.

Emo76 · 17/03/2012 07:12

Happy travels meet uppers! Dd2 up at 6.10 today, progress!!

blossoming · 17/03/2012 08:43

I am on 3rd leg of journey. Have driven for 70 mins, taken a slow train to Crewe and now on a fast train to Euston. I totally get what you say ollie, it is the vulnerability of pyjamas, bed hair and eye rubbing that make the dcs and DH so adorable at that time of the morning!
DH got in at 9.30pm, shattered but sexy in his best suit. Wish I saw more of him in it. He only wears a suit for London. He wears Crew for day to day lecturing.
I am looking forward to finishing the paper and flicking through Instyle next.

Decameron · 17/03/2012 08:46

Ollie, the Easter decorations have just arrived and DD1 is thrilled. Thank you!

Safe travelling, see you later.

MarshaBrady · 17/03/2012 08:58

Safe travels everyone.

See you at 6.00. We are there at 6 that's right isn't it?

So lovely to be Out last night, but glad came home early and stopped with the champagne not feeling shabby.

Chloe raspberry clutch is a gorgeous colour and lovely. But too thin. Matches today.

MidnightinMoscow · 17/03/2012 09:07

Morning.

Safe and relaxing travels for everyone today.

Meant to say how awful that must have been Portia, I'd have been pretty shaken.

Thank you for that jumper link Red, lovely colours although possibly a bit short in length. Maybe I am just so used to not seeing past my navel for so long. Grin

Just been advised by DH that the only thing we need to do tomorrow on Mothers day, is be home for the football at 4pm. Feeling slightly miffed, although I know its unreasonable to do so.

I have no symptoms of labour whatsoever. I feel like this pregnancy is going in reverse now.

MidnightinMoscow · 17/03/2012 09:08

Oh Annie, hope the party goes well today.

MarshaBrady · 17/03/2012 09:12

Annie you'll be missed at the MU tonight. Have a fab party. I'm nearly on a free streak so would love to organise a mini mu.

MiM big hugs, must be frustrating.

Portia you poor thing, horrible that jumpy feeling.

Slaymill · 17/03/2012 10:24

Slaymill · 17/03/2012 10:28

Have a fabulous day everyone, we are going geocaching in an attempt to get ds2 away from the computer, he is an addict.

Have a great party Annie!

Good luck with the bags Marsha Smile

MarshaBrady · 17/03/2012 11:24

Slaymill on my way to check MJ and Raoul clutch.

Thanks for good wishes everyone. See you at next one!

Perhaps the retail data people will see a spike in spend on w&a day Grin.

MarshaBrady · 17/03/2012 11:25

Thanks Verity!

ApuskiMcClusky · 17/03/2012 11:32

Grrr, slight delay in my plans now, as DH has decided that he has to go to a garage two hours away to try to buy a car. He's just left, taking the kids with him, but the to-ing and fro-ing has meant that I now can't get down to London til this afternoon. I shall just have to be very focused in my shopping!

Lovely to hear people on their way, and I hope everyone else is having a lovely day!

Decameron · 17/03/2012 11:49

I've been trying to escape for the last hour too, Apuski. I have a voucher for House of Fraser that is burning a hole in my pocket.

Yes, Mim, DH may have to miss the football!

Slay, she woke at 11pm and 5am, not too bad but then DD1 was up at 7am . DD1 calls DD2 That Noisy Baby now, it's a bit rich coming from her!

Enjoy the party, Annie.

Zembo · 17/03/2012 11:54

Have a great time ladies, so sorry to be missing out - perhaps I'll be able to join you again at a future MU, good flights from Glasgow Smile. Hope the weather is better than the forecast, it's nice and bright here so can't believe it can be worse in London.

Verity I fancy having a go at geocoaching, let us know how you get on.

Apuski that's annoying but at least you'll still get some shopping time.

MIM you're handling your overdueness so so well, have a lovely weekend.

MrsCB enjoy your painting Smile, you've picked the hardest stuff to paint, stairs and hallway! I've done a lot of the painting at our house but left those bits to the painter.

Hopefully lovely news!

Fleecy · 17/03/2012 12:04

Have a wonderful time at the meet-up. I am going to wear the Me & Em dress to the concert tonight and will be thinking of you all.

mim I hope it all goes well and you don't get too fed up with the waiting.

portia that sounds terrifying. You were very brave!

notyummy · 17/03/2012 12:11

On my way, having double Ripped with DH and feeling virtuous ....until ruined by booze and snacks Grin.

Train delayed by 10 mins so will be slightly later to the hotel roommates!ooking forward to seeing everyone.

Beautiful ladies have a lovely time tonight, I am still moving (have rented flat in waterloo and haven't yet moved from Greenwich and have found an infinitely nicer one for me and DS in Richmond which I will move to in mid April if all goes well, so it's COMPLETE CHAOS!) just dropping in to say I miss you lovely lot and thank you for letting me drop in and out, I am totally in need of your style assistance at the moment. When I'm around more please let me know when your next meet up is. Quite warm in London justa little bit of drizzle so hopefully not grim for later.

Over and out, much love, vin xx

CHOOGIRL · 17/03/2012 12:33

Have a fabulous meet up ladies...and remember to keep an eye out for naked flames. Smile
