Not very inspiring- think the tiredness is showing!

Meant to say I saw that IRO the other day, and actually i think it is a bit darker than it looks online, so need for tan etc may not be so great...

FritziGreenEyes · 15/03/2012 09:10

Tried on MU outfit and think I'll stick with it: M&S and Marc Jacobs it is Smile

IceCreamCastles · 15/03/2012 09:32

Have put a couple of photos up just for you pickled.

notyummy · 15/03/2012 09:41

Oh Icey - how lovely! I feel quite emotional looking at the pics of your lovely new family, and how pleased DD looks with her baby brother. Thanks for sharing.

FritziGreenEyes · 15/03/2012 09:44

icey Gorgeous family!

pickledsiblings · 15/03/2012 09:52

Oh Icey, you've made my day Smile. I love the one of S and DD - he is so perfect and she looks like she adores him already. Keep smiling!

MrsCampbellBlack · 15/03/2012 09:57

Oh am annoyed - love this but seriously nearly £200 for polyester - I don't think so girlfriend!

FritziGreenEyes · 15/03/2012 10:04

mrscb This kind of top should only be cotton I think. Outrageous price tag!

FritziGreenEyes · 15/03/2012 10:05

Similar style, less polyester content from Zara?

Decameron · 15/03/2012 10:26

Icey, I've just been looking at your photos on Facebook. You look fantastic and the DC are adorable. Hope you are feeling well.

Marsha, I'm jealous! I'm itching to buy a few new tops but waiting until Sat.

Amber, sorry you won't get into town for a nice lunch today.

Looby, hope you get to relax this weekend.

Pickled, your DC are great, fab hair!

Well, you all sound very chic indeed today. I am in skinny Goldsign jeans, green Splendid top and Ash high-tops. DH informed me that I was early for St Patrick's Day. Ha ha. I will not be wearing this when meeting the A&W ladies on Sat.

Really like Anna Wintour's dress in the link.

NY, I really like the Karen Millen tops. I think you should stay in London when you come for the Olympics.

We think we are going to be here for a few more years so going to buy somewhere. I have been looking at 3 million pound houses on the internet in this area, they are amazing. Unfortunately we are not in that league!

I iron my pajamas too.

I had to go back to the GP yesterday as DD2 has picked up ringworm somehow, go figure. I was ready with smart comments for that woman but of course I didn't see her!

notyummy · 15/03/2012 10:28

That is outrageous MrsCB. I was annoyed at £80 for a poly Vero Moda top yesterday!

My ASOS order is arriving today between 1102 and 1202 apparently....! DH is working at home today so will be able to sign....but I might have told him that I ordered 'a glittery top', when I think the size of the parcel will give away that there is in fact 5 tops Hmm. I am not keeping them all though.

Icey great pics - baby of course is as cute as a button - but so is his big sis. Beautiful.

Fritzi I need more details re MU outfit Smile. I am planning on it being warm and sunny - only intend to bring jersey blazer as day and night time coat. More space for shopping you see! Will wear boots but have ballet pumps in bag for when feet get sore. By the way, my (ironed) PJs are vintage Boden (well, from 2011).

NY I think you are v good at choosing clothes that suit you. Especially loved the sequin top.

Some lovely sounding outfits on here today. Am wearing new bf jeans (even tho they seem to have gone really baggy already, not good), new beige boots, white and blue breton and a cropped navy cardi.

Just met friend for coffee and had a huge slice slice of strawberry tart - feel quite sick now.

MrsCampbellBlack · 15/03/2012 11:20

Marni here and all going back.

The orange bag looked very much like plastic.

The colour block silk top - colours didn't work on me and shape not great on me.

The spot dress - just too long and voluminous.

So in conclusion - I am not a 5ft10 model and the clothes just didn't work on me.

Oh well - was fun Smile

Hopefully · 15/03/2012 11:52

MrsCB what a shame! Has anyone apart from Bonsoir had a good Marni haul?

NY I always say that things are only one garment, even when the parcel is patently several times too large for that to be the case Grin

Just phone Oushka customer services and was informed that my bag is on its way first class but won't be here till at least tomorrow, which basically means it was dispatched today, seven days after I placed my order. I am a bit Hmm as I don't think there's much excuse for that even when delivery time is 5-7 days.

Have just realised I have no evening bag for the weekend. Hopefully I'll find a cheapy one on Saturday.

Icey I can't see your pics Sad

notyummy · 15/03/2012 11:58

Hopefully - NL are great for a wide selection of bags/clutches. Have a look here. You need one of their bigger stores for the best selection.

Icey I'd love to see your pictures, but quite understand if updating MN isn't a priority!

Bloss hope you get some relief for your migraine. Dh gets dreadful ones, loses the power of speech, balance, etc. I was terrified when he had the first one, thought he was having a stroke. He has great new medication, Zomig, but he needs to take it immediately he has the first symptoms. He still gets a headache, but is up and about the next day rather than in bed for 3 days as he was before.

Sorry to hear about the Marni MrsCB, and I can't believe that top, I had been looking out for it. I really want to try that navy laser cut skirt when it comes in, and would love to be tall enough to wear this it looks fantastically glamorous in RL.

Ollie I felt a little weak at the knees at the sight of Gorgeous George in that link, so thanks for that Grin Reminds me of Vins criteria for a good outfit "Would you be happy to bump into GC wearing this?". Love it!

I am in a Marant-a-like outfit today, must be in the air! I am Blush to say I bought another jacket, this one, wearing with red skinnies, cream lace t, navy wedge high tops. I also tried a great pair of ankle boots this morning, but will order online as cheaper. Will link after I've ordered!

Marsha love the bags, I love this Raoul clutch too. Am also intrigued by your conversation !

Slaymill · 15/03/2012 12:42

Hello all hope tension has turned to excitment.

Hopefully sounds a good plan by NY do you have a big branch nl near you ?

Marsha love all your bags, though you should not have linked to the Chloe !

Decameron good luck with the house search. My eldest had ringworm from a licky puppy.

bloss hopes your pain lifts soon.

Verity Can I have your entire outfit if you dont mind just hand it over. Seriously Im on the look out for red skinnies so can you help ?

Ollie was it you and the Hermes Cape Cod did you get it ?

Icey Your pics sound joyful

Blue must have product eye know mama mio.

Some wonderful sounding outfits, I second the need for detailed Meet Up style report.

Marni man has been! Love the colour block top, but wondering if I should have gone for an 8 as it is a little voluminous. Great colours though. Can't decide if the hat is a bit silly on me, though love it. Necklace beautiful and am in candle dilemma re. silver sandals. Shame nothing has worked out for you MrsCB - am surprised they didn't go down to a 6 tbh.

Icey your family and you are beautiful! DD looks thrilled, bless her.

Exciting news about buying somewhere Carciofi! Hope DD2 on the mend soon.

Now, could one wear a yellow (lemony) top and pink (fuchsia) jeans and not look like an ice-cream? Pickled is forcing me back to the outfit drawing board. She's the 'wear if you dare, bitch' type Wink!

Portia4 · 15/03/2012 13:07

Beautiful photos Icey

Bloss I do hope that your headache doesn't last all day.

Nice shopping Verity I saw that jacket yeasterday and thought it was really nice and was going to link to it! The By Zoe trousers arrived and they are very flimsy fabric, I suspect that I will be returning them, the jacket was sold out!

Pickled Your DCs really are cute Smile

Lots of great outfits today - I am wearing yet another P8 dress -predictable! it's quite chilly here today.

MarshaBrady · 15/03/2012 13:08

Verity love that one too thanks! Will swing by Selfridges on way back from Marylebone. Love the Zara jacket too.

Icey what a gorgeous family you have, tugged at the heart strings, your little boy and his big sister. You are looking fab.

Slaymill I'll report back on what it is like in rl.

Anniemac that Zara price is Euros. if you convert it, it's nearly £30. Well closer to anyway Grin

Slaymill · 15/03/2012 13:10

Red did you get my pm?

Russianred · 15/03/2012 13:15

Yes Slay I thought I had replied?! Was very useful .

Now, I've undone my silver sandals and have no idea how to do them back up again. Have been fading around with the rope for 20 minutes. Anyone got them and know what to do?!

ReineDeSaba · 15/03/2012 13:25

am keeping up with thread by skin of my teeth..DD2 poorly again, baking for school and birthdays and spring concert has been sprung.

slay so sorry for your loss, looking forward to chatting to you at next MU.

icey ,pickled and dec gorgeous photos.

vb lovely jacket and good price.

annie look forward to seeing what you comw up with.

fritzi fab Marni you linked to.

DD2 tearful..off I go..

AmberNectarine · 15/03/2012 13:29

Ah, I got silver sandals but the buckle up ones, red. Have a history of angst with any that tie round the ankle. Mine arrived this morning also and I am very happy. Love them, though they are a little wide - not a deal breaker though.

Got hot in my jumper do have changed into Cos Breton, which is one of the hardest working items in my wardrobe. So rare to find one with a pure white background!
