Where the hell do you all find jeans?

I went to the Hillfiger outlet today which is where i bought the last two pairs from, and have worn them to death, but they had nothing!
So now im left with two scabby pairs from next that ive had for about 6 years.

Any tips on buying some really nice, not overpriced jeans.

Im a size 8/10, like a slim leg or nice (not mumsy) bootcut

I got mine from next

southeastastra · 19/02/2012 21:31

gap

cybbo · 19/02/2012 21:32

Primark sell FAB jeans

InsertCrapNameHere · 19/02/2012 21:38

Watching with interest. I've lost my baby weight and ready to re-enter the world of decent clothes again, but so far the jeans I have from Next are useless but not sure where else to try.

usualsuspect · 19/02/2012 21:42

New Look jeans are good and Adsa do great jeans

GetOrfMoiiLand · 19/02/2012 21:44

I don't like Next bollocks as a rule but their skinny jeans are excellent.

my absilutely best pair of jeans ever are from (don't mock) Jack Wills.

Totally agree about Asda - I have some skinnies from there and they are brilliant.

I also like French Connection, plus they do great sales so you can get some bargains.

And also saw some really nice jeans in Sainsbirys lately, but haven't tried them on so don't know what the fit is like.

NoWayNoHow · 19/02/2012 21:49

I find H&M jeans really fit me well, especially their "Star" or "Loyal" range, and they do all sizes from 26 up (including "odd" half sizes). To give you an idea whether they might be suitable, I'm a size 10 hourglass shape. I have short legs, though, so they all tend to be a little long on me (normally 32" leg length). All around the £30 mark.

Here you go!

MissBeehivingUnderTheMistletoe · 19/02/2012 21:54

I got some great high waisted skinnies in Gap this week.

mosschops30 · 19/02/2012 22:00

Im sorry but i can safely say that asda/new look/primark do not do nice jeans, because nothing there is nice!

I will have a look at Gap and H&M though

My favourite jeans come from Asda [pleb]

Clure · 19/02/2012 22:34

I like topshop Baxters

MuslinSuit · 19/02/2012 22:40

Oasis every time for straight leg jeans.

i buy 2nd hand karen millen jeans on ebay. they're lovely and can cost under £20 ... seven for all mankind on ebay are also worth checking out - the fit is really nice. the only pair i've had from asda all the buttons fell off in the first few days and i find gap jeans lose their shape / snugness really quickly.

CelticPromise · 19/02/2012 23:00

Fat Face.

quitcomplaining · 19/02/2012 23:02

Topshop Baxter. The only jeans I have worn for years.

GetOrfMoiiLand · 19/02/2012 23:02

I have just had a look on ebay (have never bought a thing from there) at Karen Millen and seven for all manking jeans - some real bargains, thanks for that tip.

Yawner247 · 19/02/2012 23:05

I'm with muslin oasis do lovely jeans&jeggings also diesel do nice jeans but can be expensive depending on the wash you have! Wink

SoupDragon · 19/02/2012 23:10

I got my last batch of jeans form Esprit. They seem to have a mind boggling array of styles and they come in various leg lengths which is essential.

startail · 19/02/2012 23:18

Not M&S they fit, they look fine, they are comfy.
You buy them. Five minutes latter they fall down.
I have two pairs, totally different styles, they are both as bad.
Utterly useless stretch fabric, the skinny ones go baggy at the knees tooAngry

Anyone who can point me in the direction of some comfy, high waisted, big arsed size 16 jeans.
The gap ones sound possible if they go big enough. I have two pairs of nice long boots and only the usless thinks to tuck in them.

GAP all the way for day to day.
If you can afford them - Seven for all Mankind jeans are ace - they sometime appear in TK Maxx and have an outlet shop in Bicester as they are sooper pricey!

AmberNectarine · 20/02/2012 08:36

I tend to wear a lot of J Brand as I find the fit very good for my body shape (short, relatively slim hourglass) but on the high st I rate Topshop Jamies, Gap Always Skinny and Uniqlo.

Flyingoutofcontrol · 20/02/2012 09:00

M&Co.

Fairly light weight material - but stretch nicely while not clinging in an unforgiving fashion.

OBface · 20/02/2012 09:02

For all mankind are always a good bet. Otherwise Top Shop on the high street
