New one!

yeah red it's a question I've been hypothetically pondering too, because if someone's husband just got a big bonus and that someone was wondering how to spend some of it, she'd probably pick the leather. That being said, someone will have to wait until the end of January [scowl]

Get 'em, get 'em! (and go down half a size, because someone has been hypothetically researching)

Am wearing my FC star print mini, with charcoal cashmere sweater, charcoal wolfords and biker boots. Will put on my furry snood when I go out.

wan glad you've found time for Wendylust.

ollie I really want to see that film, but DH saw the trailer and has proclaimed it 'dross'. Unfortunately for him next weekend is my birthday weekend so he is duty bound by law to do my bidding...

Tedious morning of cleaning and washing ahead of our week away. DH out every night this week 'client entertaining', he is taking clients to a shopping event at Fortnum & Mason tonight. He has been instructed to return with posh choc or not bother coming back.

I think maybe I'll give the OTK boots a miss Grin.

Ooh, annie, my heart is racing at all those lovely OTK boots! The 50/50s are just a bit too steep for me and actually I like the ones that are leather / suede all the way round, so I am definitely going to purchase! Which do you think would be best? I'm surprising myself and thinking Hobbs. Tempted by the price of the eBay PiedaTerre ones but they are soo flat and I'm not sure about the front seam. Thanks so much for all the links.

wan, so sorry about the fainting and lack of help. Really hope you get some rest at the in laws and signed off if possible. I finish teaching next week and will be glad to!

sprogger, hello. Jealous of your colours and seasons knowledge. Inspired by all the talk of greys I am wearing a thick grey jaeger swing dress belted above the bump with black long sleeved t shirt beneath, black opaques and black lace up ankle boots with fur trim and high heels. I think it works but I'm not exactly sure... And is grey even a good colour on a pale blonde?? Hmm.

Still putting together my mywardrbe wish list and planning what to spend my 40% off on. Are these fantastic or in fact hideous? For next spring / summer. I do love a bit of hot pink and have missed j brands so.

Glad book club was good red. Also recommend 'A Handful of Dust'; it's fantastic.

Oh, the fur gilet arrived! Love it. Can't wait to wear it without the bump.

Hope everyone is having a good day!

AmberNectarine · 08/12/2011 12:24

Blue, I love those. My friend (who works for, wait for it, VOGUE!) has the special edition LFW ones they did and they are very similar. I have my beady eye on the jodhpurs when they hit the sale, and some hot pink Paige cords which I saw in Selfridges but cannot find online, and these Current/Elliotts

blue2711 · 08/12/2011 12:38

I love those too, amber! They're on my evolving wishlst in the canvas colour. Right, am going to get the pink jeans then. It makes me feel happy just thinking about wearing them, though it'll be a while yet...

Portia4 · 08/12/2011 12:48

Amber I too would love those jodhpurs when they are on sale.
I bought a pair of OTK boots from Sisley, they are grey suede and were only ?119, I feel a bit self conscious when I wear them, but DH loves them!
Pickled Best of luck tomorrow.
Today I'm wearing my black DKNY cosy with a twist at the back and a narrow belt over black skinnies, and this which is quite short.
Wan Hope that you are getting some rest, my DM sounds very like yours Smile.

Really like those hobbs boots but fear my thighs are not as slender as wendy's and I would look dreadfully dumpy in them.

blue2711 · 08/12/2011 13:02

I am 5ft1 and worry about dumpiness too. Until I met DH I rarely wore anything but v high heels but he is short (but gorgeous) and I feel OK in flats now! Never out at night though. I wonder how tall Wendy is?

FritziGreenEyes · 08/12/2011 13:11

Ohhh, lots of gorgeous OKBs. The Pied a terre ones look amazing but unfortunately they do not ship them to Germany, boo hiss... The heel of the Hobbs boots looks a bit too chunky for me. Have been hatching a plan for DH to pick up a pair of 50/50s for me when he is in London on Monday. But I cannot take the risk because not sure about the size and if I would actually love them.

blue I think Wendy is teeny tiny. She has UK shoe size 2!

redllamayellowllama · 08/12/2011 13:12

They're £365. Have a pair on hold as well as a pair of the Hobbs alternatives. Hmmm .

FritziGreenEyes · 08/12/2011 13:16

red While you are doing the research for us all, could you also check out the Pied a Terre Picassos? Xmas Grin. Having said that I think that perfect boots are really difficult to find as they have to fit perfectly around the ankle/calf and everyone is just so different.
