Expensive new artificial tree arrived so now we have two - one to go in the conservatory and one for the sitting room! I wanted a real one but DH sensibly pointed out that the place I wanted it to go was right beside a radiator and it would drop needles constantly.....and as he does most of the hoovering he has a vested interest
We have an older artifical tree but it is not very convincing (bought in Woollies for £9.99 in 2003 so it hasn't done us badly!) My hug paper decorations from the Re website I linked are all hanging in the conservatory now as well - starting to look very festive! DD and I can do the tree when she gets back home from school on Friday.
I can't believe how many 'things' DD has got on at the moment on the run up to Xmas. She is going to be exhausted! Christmas fair last Friday, panto at the school yesterday, Christingle service today followed by Rainbows Christmas party this evening; trip to the panto on Friday with school; our Christmas party on Sunday; santa coming to the school on Monday; school class Christmas party on Tuesday and school Christmas disco on Thursday. Somehow it all has to be fitted in around work, and our Christmas 'dos'. I am out 3 nights next week. Can't wait for the 22nd tbh - then we can do Christmas as a family - no playdates, no organised fun, just us and my mum and dad!
I sound like a right 'bah humbug', don't I?!
Love that dress Marsha.
I am staying away from Sproggers Oasis link. I quite like Oasis and the cut seems to suit me, so it could be dangerous.....
