Oh Carciofi and Amber your girls are too cute! Those cheeks!

redllamayellowllama · 05/12/2011 22:27

Quick question - an item ended on eBay that I meant to bid for, I contacted the seller to see if I could still buy and agreed on a price. If I pay them directly via paypal, am I then covered if it doesn't appear?

MarshaBrady · 05/12/2011 22:29

Amber she is so adorable!

Red so far you, me, Amber, Anniemac and Sprogger. Not sure about Ants.
Yes a place. Good lighting and champagne are my usual requests Wink Should we pm eachother any suggestions for good places.

Yes, very nice jacket. Like the boots too Carciofi...I also like Timberlands padded coat this season too. Might be a goer for me, as was frozen today, and have done silly things like sell most of my coats Hmm on ebay.

njc - We've had full nativity regalia and singing this evening. My 4 and 5 yr olds are Shepherd and Angel in the same 'play'.... Very cute.

Have just done rest of the christmas food order online. Spent most of evening doing the thing. Thank goodness that's done! Phew...

dolceebanana · 05/12/2011 22:44

Just had a peek at both girls and Amber and Carciofi - you have such cuties!

redllamayellowllama · 05/12/2011 22:52

Thanks NJC - seller wants to avoid the paypal fees of listing again, but it is quite a large sum of money so have backed away from paypal and am hoping i've persuaded them to re-list. We'll see.

DS has taken to singing Jingle Bells, but does everything really quietly until he shouts 'hey' with gusto (have been training em at nursery for a Christmas singalong). Has been hair-raising at times.

I have no suggestions Marsha. Out. Of. Touch. PM away.

Hi all - struggling to keep up - looking forward to checking Wendy out when I get time!

Did someone say mini meet up?! Please PM me the details and I will see if DH can step up to the plate!

Got a 40% Mywardrobe discount code and ordered this black dress which looks slightly similar in style to my red Joseph one. Code was VIPSECRTET2 but not sure it will work if you don't get sent it personally.

Anyway back to it - work still busy, looking fwd to winding down to Xmas, and parents evening for DD1 today.

MarshaBrady · 06/12/2011 09:20

Excellent Emo! Saturday 17th December. We still need a place, but if we can't think of one the place we went to last time was good.

Love the dress, really fabulous.

Anniemac agree about Diane Kruger she is stunning.

notyummy · 06/12/2011 09:42

Just back from DDs Christingle service at school - v cute. Working at home today so I could sneak away.

Love that Michael Kors dress Emo - and what a discount!

NJC - I get your name. Understated.

Amber - Oh those cheeks!! So gorgeous. Lokks very like a pic we have of DD at that age - rather round and perched in a bumbo. Lovely.

amber and carciofi Thanks for sharing pics of your scrumptious DCs!

emo Love your new dress and what a great discount! It would have been mad not to buy anything. Have you worn your red coat yet?

Waiting in the cold for a mythical bus. What we learn is the gilet keeps my body very warm arms not so much. Someone alert the media.

Have borrowed inspiration from our NBF today in rose coloured skinnies. They are too big so will be on the ever growing eBay pile tonight. Lost another lb today and as glad as I am that the baby weight is on the shift, I am deeply bored of never having trousers that fit.

Am also on lookout for a nice black bag. Have realised there is a gaping hole in my accessories collection... Obviously as I am not spending until post-Xmas i am just researching!

Good spot sprogger I've had a few bits from Oasis this season and it's not normally somewhere I shop. They have had a good A/W.

annie my DS has mittens on a string. They are vintage shearling ones inherited from my toddlerhood :)

Hope you're all having a lovely day and not freezing to death!

Yes I would love a new bag. But in the sale I think.

I do need a dress for Christmas Day so going to give this Kors silk/lace one a whirl. (Emo you are a star! thank you)

There was only one in my size and she has my shoes on so thought it could be a good sign.

Get that gilet press release out Amber. Good work on the lbs.

Love the mittens on a string Anniemac.

Ditto the all over colour blocking Sprogger.

redllamayellowllama · 06/12/2011 13:53

Stunning dresses Marsha and Emo, you shall both look as gorgeous as ever in them.

I also need a new black bag and have my eye on Whistles number. Am hoping for some Xmas vouchers and it is my birthday in the not too distant future, so it is not a faraway dream!

Mittens on a string also a necessary requirement for nearly everyone in our household..!

Have just had our chimney swept and have the all clear for open fires in our gorgeous new fireplace (new to us but vintage art nouveau from a reclamation yard). This has made me very excited indeed.

Could do. Or the Ce Me. Did you keep your Ce Me one in the end?

MarshaBrady · 06/12/2011 14:11

Lovely bag Red. I'm thinking black too. Or maybe that is just an idea implanted in my head now Grin

Real wood fires. Sigh, how lovely.
