Ah, thanks all.

Notyummy - you go steady now!

Yes, am off to have a long soak (dh always interrupts if he's here), so looking forward to the peace and tranquility.

Have lovely weekends!

blossoming · 09/09/2011 21:36

icey I look like a womble in wide legs/bootcuts without heels! Anyone seen steel grey cigarette pants?

reine, didn't realise you'd lost your mother. I'm very sorry.

I've got the opposites Cleverly- out of 8 in our NCT group, only 2 have had a second. All through choice as well. Group was quite old though sobperhaps we just can't cope Grin

cleverything, you are so strong. You deserve every happiness in the future.

MrsCampbellBlack · 10/09/2011 06:21

Morning - oh yes we do like to get up so early and its still dark.

Carciofi - the reason I namechanged was because I had revealed too much personal information as someone pointed out to me Hmm. I am now much more circumspect.

Dolcee - well done! I am so pleased for you.

Cleverything - I did chuckle at what you didn't discuss - yes, what did you discuss - celebrity big brother Wink And do pm me when you're next down this way please.

Bloss - well done on super stylish return to work.

NY - I saw your photos on fb and you looked amazing - a really gorgeous family.

Pickled - thanks for link - think I want something super plain but have a feeling its going to be on those purchases that I obsess about for months and then never actually happens.

wideawakenurse · 10/09/2011 07:17

Good morning all. Up with the lark here too.

Very quick post from me, to wish everyone a great weekend.

Might be laying low for a few days, nothing to be worried about just a bit busy.

Oh yes carciofi I do worry!! Grin

OllieinOrange · 10/09/2011 08:38

Carciofi what a great attic find - gorgeous boots. I've been sorting my work area out in our attic and found 5 brand new notebooks of varying sizes - I really must stop buying new stationery! Wish I'd found some belstaffs tho!
Dolcee big congratulations on the house. I think we all love renovation stories on here so please post away!
Amber/Icey if its of any comfort to you - my boys are always the ones charging round playgrounds whilst everyone seems to be playing nicely. I always feel that other Mums are thinking hmmm and hate it when I get comments about them being 'busy boys'. I never thought I would be that Mum that is running around thinking 'where are they now' but the flipside is they are confident, sociable little boys. Focus on the flipside should be a good motto I think!

Morag nice to see you on here again. I was thinking about you the other day when I put on my P8 cardi that you recommended last winter! My poncho is a bit like this one from Monsoon here but in blue and more batwing style arms.

DH back later - DS1 awake til 10pm last night and DS2 up at 6am this morning. I plan a day off tomorrow!

carciofi · 10/09/2011 08:39

Wan :)

The baby didn't wake until 7, which is pretty good.

Cleverything, I agree. DH and his sisters don't get on at all. They communicate with him through me, which I find quite annoying at times.

Will be back with a witty new name! OK, maybe just a new name.

IceCreamCastles · 10/09/2011 09:13

As predicted I had a wide awake, wriggly visitor to my bed at 3am. Hey ho, at least it's a rare occurance these days.

Good motto ollie. Your boys sound great- dd is so cautious in playgrounds it's almost embarrassing!

Very wise cleverything. Cousins can be a great halfway house between siblings and friends. Sounds like your sister isn't one to have a serious (or supportive) conversation with!

MarshaBrady · 10/09/2011 09:45

Morning. Oh thank the heavens we are back on track with sleep. I realised it was due to being out at bedtime on Thursday and ds2 became ultra clingy again. Dh had to be strict last night to get back on track. After a year of deprivation I have a funny reaction to it now, almost painful and panicky, most odd!

Carciofi I used to be more careful (name shows work when googled, so didn't want that). But then relaxed as nice to share. Now I don't talk much about work or where I am from (so remote). But in any case if someone knew it's mostly light-hearted bumf and links!

Dolce big congratulations on house Smile

carciofi · 10/09/2011 10:00

Marsha, yeah, you're right. And I can't think of a name I like more than carciofi anyway.

Ollie, I hope the little girl's mother was extremely grateful to you for helping.

DD1 (age 3) is still asleep, how will I ever get her up for school?!

MarshaBrady · 10/09/2011 10:08

I didn't mean yours was bumf but mine Grin (just in case it came across wrong way). But if you feel uncomfortable do change. Although you have a good name.

I might not get a wool coat this year, I always detest them by end of season. I wonder if I can get away with a big knit?

carciofi · 10/09/2011 10:36

Mine is bumf :)

Do you have a raincoat?

MarshaBrady · 10/09/2011 10:45

Smile. Actually I think my life is bumf - I'm not leaving out much... Grin

Raincoat no, but whatever I buy it has to be light. Struggling with heavy wool as I get in the car is not fun. I saw a good Preen one the other day, going to try and find it again.

AntPants1 · 10/09/2011 14:29

marsha I live in long thick cardigans which I belt in over. Not warm enough for deep winter but great for autumn. I got my last two from Jigsaw. Also saw a good one in Isabella Oliver and Pure catalogues.

Have just got the Isabella Oliver catelogue. I want it ALL!

AntPants1 · 10/09/2011 14:33

marsha I have this Cardigan from jigsaw which I belt in

AntPants1 · 10/09/2011 14:35

marsha what about this one from pure?

MarshaBrady · 10/09/2011 15:42

Thanks Ants! I like the dark green dress with shirt and belt on the IO. For some reason some of the links on here come up with 'click 1x1 pixels' instead of the page. I don't know why! It is something to do with my computer as happens with a few. Will ask dh if he can fix it.

OllieinOrange · 10/09/2011 17:40

Morag Fat Face has a poncho too here

OllieinOrange · 10/09/2011 18:11

I have blog news. I think I am going to do a blog BUT for just a year - starting 1st January 2012. Have been keeping a list of things I would post about and think it would work better as a year-long thing centred about what I get up to over here. Am not promising it will be the most interesting of reads and think you lot will be the only ones to read it but I think it will be a nice thing to do - for one year only!!!
We need to brainstorm a blog name at the meet up! Have just registered one but think its a bit meh!

By writing this I am committing myself aren't I?!
