Evening all!

Fritzi thanks, it was very quiet last night. (I am feeling a bit sad for those in Clapham particularly as so destructive).

VerityBrulee · 10/08/2011 10:54

I think I am a winter.

Very pale skin, hazel eyes, dark brown hair.
I look awful in black, but good in navy.
Yellowy cream is bad on me but ivory is good.
Gold jewellery is better than silver.
Deep reds and pinks are good.
What do you colour experts think?

I have been wondering lately as I have realised that the pale dusty pink nude shade that I love may not really be a good colour for me Sad

So glad London was quieter last night.

Pouring rain here. Again.

Fritzi I remember the day dc1 started school, I came home a sobbed Blush Meanwhile he was having a great time! I hope dd is having fun and you are enjoying time to yourself Smile

I think Winters look good in black and need silver jewellery - certainly that's what I am and I think I'm a winter, though I've never been 'done' as it were!

It's so confusing!! LIlac wouldn't be good it brings out the purple shadows under my eyes (lovely), but deep purple would be ok. Raspberry and cherry red seem to 'warm up' my pale complexion. I'll check out the thread, thanks cleverything Smile

I wear black, and many other colours, that I probably should not.

Aqua-type colour is the best for me I think.... The colour of clean water on a white sandy beach.

MarshaBrady · 10/08/2011 11:17

clear water... I should hope it's clean!

I know odd isn't it Anniemac, I do keep hearing sirens and helicopters, but then so quiet on our street here.

Annie yes olive and chocolate are good on me! I didn't wear any shade of green until quite recently as I had a green school uniform and couldn't face green for 20 years post school.

So autumn then? Have to do some baking with dd and her friend, but will be back later. Going to make Ollies shortbread Smile

Worse still annie mine was emerald green 100% polyester I think this is one of the reasons I have sought out non-uniform schools for my dc!

VerityBrulee · 10/08/2011 11:33

When is the wedding annie? Weather is desperate so pack waterproofs and wellies for dds.

Annie you're right about the nudes, I have a pinky nude silk top that is good but a more ash toned one that makes me really washed out.

I think I could become a bit obsessed about this colours lark! Have just googled, no House of Colour in Ireland, just Colour me beautiful, which is 140 Euro for 90 mins. Is that long enough to get a thorough analysis?

Saw a gorgeous By Marlene Birger snake print dress the other day.

Lovely skirt NY

Yes me too, love colours. And I have two children, one olive skinned and deep brown hair and the other blonde and blue eyes. The difference in what they can wear is obvious.

Ds1 can take really strong colours, even orangey pinks and ds2 looks best in the palest grey and colours like clouds and light sea blue.

Anniemac good shopping!
