Ds2 is going through a bad sleep phase. I am not good with tiredness anymore. Really irritates me! Feels horrible to be tired.

Thanks again ladies for your warm kindness re-funeral..It was DH's Aunt who passed away and in her 80s but she still unexpected as she had been in good health and sadly was the last Granny figure for the DDs..both DH and I have lost our mothers..she was a real lady and I will miss her!

Poor little girl Ollie she sounds very unwell and poor you to have the responsibility..I am helping out one of the school mums this afternoon whose DH forgot she was away this weekend (something actually I can imagine my DH doing) and is in meetings all day so cannot pick up his DD but it will be lovely for my DD to have her over.

ants DD1 has changed schools at the 11th hour so I will miss you on the school run but looking forward to seeing you on the 8th ..love those shoes by the way.

fritzi am I getting confused..are you still coming on the 8th..you will look amazing next weekend..all the 'boys' will be very jealous of your DH.

WAN the only reason DH and I don't bicker is because he refuses to engage in it..I end up hysterical while he just keeps a calm game face on.very annoying!

pickled I would wear boots but I have no shame!!! Actually I love high heeled boots and a skirt/ dress when it gets really cold in the winter. I even have knee high socks to go with them (obviously hidden beneath boots!)

Having a bit of a nightmare today as baby had her shots y'day so is grumpy and DS is acting up a bit too. Met up with NCT friends this AM, who generally make me feel inadequate anyway as they are all a bit older and seem more 'together' than me, but this was the first one we have met since DC2 arrived (I am the first to have a second) and I just felt useless! DS is refusing to talk really (he is perfectly capable and can understand everything you say to him) and their DCs were all chatting away, there was a lot of "he'll get there", I just wanted to shout "I am a good mum, honest!"

Then I went round to my parents' and had a row with my DF! Not a. Good day, even the shopping I did was lacklustre: grey marl tee and Blake leggings from gap!

Hi all. Phew, what a week. Full day teaching today, but managed to sneak home for lunch as dh was home. Felt quite romantic!

Audit of first week. I love my dresses and my cigartte trousers. Don't think I'll ever wear the Gap modern bootcuts that require heels. My feet hurt as it is. So I think I may well need a few pencil skirts. Maybe I can wait till the 8th to try some on, but links would be appreciated! I know annie is queen of the pencil skirt!

I really want to go out now, preferably with notyummy in her fabulous outfit! I will accessorize everything with a red nose. How glam.

So rugby widows unite! Not only DH notyummy, but DS too. On holiday he read the Welsh rugby world cup manual from cover to cover, lying on a sunlounger with a towel over him (ds now, not dh). He knows all the pool matches, all the referees, the ones to watch, the stars from the past....
Poor thing thinks Wales have a chance of winning. There will be tears before Sunday lunchtime I'm afraid!
Personally cannot wait either. Love the rugby world cup (great memories of the Wales one in 1999, chatting up (now) dh, who was definitely not available at the time!

Amber, ignore them. I particularly hated the sleep comparisons! Sympathy from me as DD2 was very grumpy for two days after her shots and has her second set on Monday. She has just gone to bed now looking very cute in a Minnie Mouse babygro.

Bloss, I have been out a couple of times but it is our first night out together since she was born. Theory do lovely pencil skirts, hopefully they will be back in fashion by the time I am working again as I have a nice one in the attic.

Went to Cos and strangely enough found lots of nice stuff this time! If anybody is looking for slightly strangely shaped tunics and dresses there is lots to choose from - all very modern. In need of retail therapy after a rather depressing week at work.

Great find carciofi! Ok I've ordered this vanessa bruno dress in the navy here and this one to compare navy with flowers just now - the la redoute site is a bit weird (can't really seem to see the clothes) but got there in the end.

just got on last train home. Because we live out in the sticks there are not many trains that go there so this is it. I was only just warming up.. Have changed into flats as have a mile walk home from the station. Had a good day but eaten far too much of the wrong foods- combi ation of business lunch and smoked haddock amd hollandaise omlette just eaten in pub. Yum and (That was the sound of my thighs expanding btw.) i fear that the kilo I lost on holiday may have just found me again

Outfit got compliments so am pleased and lemsip max and sinex soother got me through Bloss!

Bloss, DH is not here to agree, so I can say it, I think I spent far too much when I was working.

am quaffing champagne as we are proud owners of a house. Back on the property ladder...and with sooo much to do. Quite exciting though. I have probably bored everyone's arse off with my house woes over the last 18 months , well, I shall try not to during the mahoosive renovation saga!

Hope your evening has been an improvement Amber. I'm sure they're all in awe of you having 2 if you're the first. I frequently feel like that at toddler group. They are mostly an older crowd and all have super confident children who run off and play by themselves the whole time whilst dd rarely ventures 2 feet away from me.
