There are 30 days in June. Who wants to do the 30 day shred every day this month?

Right, ladies its that time of year one has to get shredded. There are holidays, there are barbecues, there are weddings to attend. One has to look good, and one has to undo any overindulgence of attending said events.

So I will be doing the 30 day shred every day in June, unless extraneous circumstances prevent me, these being:

Loss of life or loss of limb;
Illness involving either puking or high temperature;
Velcro-baby (i.e sick child keeping one up all night or similar shenanigans)

Any other excuses will not be tolerated.

Is anyone else in? You must check in daily to say you've done it and you may post your weight loss or inch loss weekly if you feel inclined. Plus wax lyrical about how shredded you feel and how hard your bottom is and how you can't really lift your arm very well or it shakes like a leaf but it doesn't matter because you can fit into your least mumsy swimsuit.

Day 13. Feeling much better. Had been doing L3 (which I like but is quite
hard on the knees) dropped down to L2 and did OK. Can see the beginnings of a much trimmer tum Grin. Might have to go and buy a bikini.

ok didn´t manage yesterday but already got it done this morning, day 18 L3. only 4 more days til I am off on holiday. Definitely toned up lots and ran for the train yesterday and didn´t even break a sweat or get out of breath which seriously impressed me Grin Stomach looking flatter but not quite a six pack. Was feeling great until ds (4) came up and patted me on the tum and said "big tummy" Angry Wink

Well done everyone that is sticking with it and those who have lapsed, its not too late - come on, jump back on the wagon Grin

Day 3 of level 2 done today.

I am finding it a leetle but easier - might move up to level three in a few days.

Those V raises are just so hard. I've had to drop the weights down to 2lbs for most of level 2 (apart from the mid section).

Well done everyone for sticking with it so far - I have to say I really don't think I would have got this far if it wasn't for this thread :o

DD keeps joining me shredding, insisting she wants a 'fat tummy'. I keep telling her it's a 'flat tummy', to no avail. Although, she's not really wrong, I've noticed a significant improvement in tone everywhere else. I'd hoped for more, that's such a problem area.

Day 4 of level 2 done or is it day 5, lost track. Blush Didn't manage it yesterday but was feeling great this morning!

I have switched off her voice and have been listening to my IPod instead. Grin

chutneypig apparently it takes 30 days for a new behaviour to become a habit so give it 4 days and shredding will just be part of your daily routine. Wink

Well done all. Envy of those on level 3 but perhaps later this week.....

Am shredding Mon - Friday, so had a break - and a lie-in - over the weekend. Have ben on Level 2 since Tuesday last week - am finding it ok, but what's with all the plank-based moves? And I just don't get that final ab plank move at all. Perhaps it'll come to me as I improve...........

flossie - i know i HATED all the plank in L2 and gave up on the last ab moves completely and did bicycle crunches instead, just couldn´t feel what they were supposed to be doing.

Only 3 days to go til holiday - am really enjoying it but wish it had reduced me a bit more around the middle. I only have 4kgs to shift but it seems to all be there. and some on my thighs. rah.

I was never sure I was doing the plank crunches right, didn't seem to feel them the way I did a lot of the ab moves.

done for today - Level 2 - can't remember which day.

I know what you mean about the plank crunches - I was just thinking the same - what I did today is just hold the tension in my abs the whole way through - you don't feel the same 'burn' as other crunches though do you.#

to be honest - I'm ready to hit the floor after the final lot of exercises so welcome the break!

really struggled with the v raises today - had to stop and just do the arms only.

only 10 days left til the end of june

Level 3 done this morning. Still having to modify moves and avoid any knee bending altogether as it takes 3-4 days to recover from a simple lunge exercise. Think my knees are well and truly knackered. I am now the proud owner of a six-pack stomach, I just need to remove the inch of fat hiding it.

Well I managed day 10 on Friday, aided by 2 hyper-excited toddlers, but nothing since. Now sitting here with a tummy bug and feeling guilty :(

I was in France all day on Sat so didn't shred then, and although I did get back in time to shred on Sunday, all the bread, cheese and butter in my stomach stopped me... Still day 6 level 2 done today and a 4 mile run (and a day of housework) so def back on the straight and narrow. Totally agree on last set of abs in level 2, I do bicycle crunches as well then.

Decided to brave it today and did level 3. Actually enjoyed the routine more than level 2. Bloody hard though.

Feeling better today so i'm going to have a go at level 3 later, that's if DD doesn't swap it for Peppa Pig half way through

10 days left, and i'm 10 days behind....i'm going to have to do it twice a day to catch up - bloody nora!

Had a quick sneaky peek at the 6 week 6 pack yesterday....Confused
