Hi all!

I remain torn over the shoes - I do really like them, but I know they will not be quite formal enough for all occasions at work. I am now (!!) thinking of odering them and buying another pair of 'classic' nude courts. However I will hold fire just now as having had a bit of a spree at the beginning of the month, and just ordered bikinis/shorts, I really must desist.

Annie - glad to hear you had a great weekend - and Bloss what an exciting pressie from Verity. I predict an insanely excited DS.

I have so much work to do that I am having a 'where do I start??' moment, so am putting it off by posting here... Hmm

Am wearing Zara head to toe today! Straight leopard maxi with plain black fitted t shirt and wooden heels:

Plain tee here - very comfy! Interestingly both my lovely comfy wooden sandals and long skirt are both off the site so much have sold out. I am liking the look of this outfit a lot....but I would, wouldn't I? Wink

Hi annie, sounds like you have a lot going on at the moment. I really hope your dh can stay a bit longer with you. I'm sure it must be quite hard to give up b/f completely.

notyummy, Zara is having a serious 'moment'. Now get back to work!!

I just saw this stripy dress on the Laua Ashley website. It would be good with leggings in summer when the rain is lashing at the windows and the heating is on full blast, and I have my polo neck on!

Thanks for all the bridesmaid dress feedback, feeling very pleased with our choice now!

Katy great Zara haul - particularly taken with the sandals.

NY like the Zara shoes v much but agree they probably aren't as formal as they need to be - being both sling backs and peep-toes is one feature too far. Such a good price though. I like your idea of getting a second pairGrin.

Glad you had a good weekend Annie - I had a final feed with my DD on Saturday morning and, like you, am a bundle of mixed feelings. She's got a horrible cold today and is really quite miserable - imagine I will have whipped one out and fed her before the day is up!

Petit so glad you had fun in the jumpsuit - look forward to a debrief of the evening.

Your lucky DS Bloss! Will surely have to be a fan for life now to really showcase such wonderful memorabilia.

I know Annie - it is very handy indeed and she's only 8.5 months but I'm being a little selfish and claiming back some ownership of my body. Luckily, she doesn't seem at all bothered by it. Feeds had dropped to 2 a day and none at night so things were tapering off anyway.

I am having a 'hat' moment. Do you like this one?

carciofi · 23/05/2011 14:24

Bloss, I like it.

Made a quick trip to Westfield but had to get a few things for DD so didn't have time to look in Zara. I had some vouchers for House of Fraser so got this shirt. The White Company there isn't great, they had very little in stock.

Verity, wish I was in Dublin today!

Annie, hope your DH can stay home a bit longer.

I am being summoned by DD, back later.

Annie, go for it! DH has told me that he will probably want a third when he sees how cute the new baby is (he loves babies) but I have to tell him no. :)

blossoming · 23/05/2011 14:36

Lovely shirt carciofi.
There's 25% off Boden today, but I can't think of anything I want!

Annie, I am sure you will talk him around. DH is 43, not far behind.

Thinking of getting this Boden dress. Do you have it, Bloss?

Tough Dutch lesson this morning - you know that feeling when everyone around you gets something and you are none the wiser?
Cheered myself up with a small detour home via small shopping centre - picked up a lovely chambray blue cotton top (high halterneck style which shows off shoulders if that makes sense) and a navy/white striped vest to layer with navy jumpers in the winter a la Bloss!

Red - amazing dress, will look fab on and in the pics. Good luck with the shoe hunt.
WAN - good shopping haul - like the trousers.
Katy ditto! The shoes are v lovely - great colours together. No worries re the dress - glad you got to try it on.

Verity what a lovely present for Bloss's DS.

Petit just had a lightblub moment reading about the toeless tights -great solution to my 'pale and veiny legs in shoes in summer' dilema. Will investigate.
Anniemac - you have had a lot going on so don't be too hard on yourself. The important thing is that you recognised what was happening and are making a conscious effort to do things differently. I have been going though a bit of a shouty Mum phase and hate it - my tolerance level just seems v low at the moment but that usually means I am in need of a break (am coming over to UK this weekend without DH and DSs - which should re-charge my sanity levels!).

carciofi · 23/05/2011 16:09

Bloss, did you go with your usual size?

OWW, the tops sound nice. Tell the teacher if you don't understand. Have fun this weekend.

blossoming · 23/05/2011 16:13

I got the 12 in it, but the 10 in the linen so I would say not as generous as some of their things carciofi.

OP posts:
carciofi · 23/05/2011 16:19

Merci beaucoup, have ordered the 12 in blue.

OllieWollieWoo · 23/05/2011 16:19

I did Carciofi - she patted me on the shoulder and handed me a small bowl of M&Ms! Bless her!
Am going to make some flash cards with the bits of grammer I find difficult - may well end up sticking them all over the house - and DH!
Am a sucker for chambray - would link to top but it looks vile on website!
