I am going up to Sloane Square tomorrow, and am reading this avidly.
I am planning my outfit around Rigby and Pellar bra, and riding boots.
Is a jaunty scarf appropriate?

bellavita · 23/02/2011 12:20

Barbour jacket will go very nice strep.

Fio, you must! Did you keep the receipts?

AitchTwoOh · 23/02/2011 12:27

i have the gap bikers from last season... wish i'd bought two pairs now as it would have pretty much been cheaper than getting them soled and heeled.

streptococcus · 23/02/2011 12:28

ok will get jeans sorted. thank you. unfortunately my shape never looks really right in skinnies so Iam pleased about the return of other shapes.

i generally dont like wearing nice "work" type coats with children as they get grubby. may have to find balance between dry cleaning bill and looking crap.

bellavita · 23/02/2011 12:30

Strep - French Connection jeans - straight legged ones, are fantastic.

MmeLindt · 23/02/2011 12:31

strep
Have a look in M&S. They often have washable coats.

FluffyMummy123 · 23/02/2011 12:31

Biker boots irritate me hugely, but that is because I have actual biker boots adn they look like this
Very good boots, not so much with the style.

I like these but DH would kill me if I tried to get on the bike in them, all that buckling is bad for the paint job donchaknow

FluffyMummy123 · 23/02/2011 12:33

Mme - noooooooooooooo. You need to be ultra ultra thin to wear one of those long puffa coats - otherwise you will look like a trussed up sausage.

unless you are mucking out the horse after a day at teh hunt quilted jackets are pretentious, there does appear to be a caveat to allow italians to get away with this however.
