OP posts:
FritziGreenEyes · 13/02/2011 21:19

ollie Have you seen? CF won BAFTA for best actor!

DTI10 · 13/02/2011 21:20

Zembo - so glad that you are feeling better. Take your time and don't do too much (easier said than done I can imagine). Work - next few weeks will be the most exhausting so can't wait until end of March!

MrsSeanBean · 13/02/2011 21:21

I have a child free half day (woefully short but needs must etc) and I'm going shopping tomorrow. I will:
(a) try on the Topshop houlihan-a-likes
(b) get putty TS blazer (glad you like it Oooh! I liked IRO but not sure of detail at neck)
(c) search for the famous H&M breton
(d) see if they have any Orla Kiely left in John Lewis sale

Fleecy · 13/02/2011 21:21

Am looking forward to seeing the Fug Girls' take on BAFTA fashion tomorrow...

OllieWollieWoo · 13/02/2011 21:22

Fritzi - hello! Horay for Colin! Had a chat with my Mum about the Kings Speech (finally out here this week) and she went on about him and his wet shirt in Pride & Prejudice - there are just some things you don't need to here from your Mum!
Looking forward to my DM roundup of Bafta dresses tomorrow!

FritziGreenEyes · 13/02/2011 21:24

mrsSB Banana Republic and Uniqlo have Houlialikes too iirc.

pickledsiblings · 13/02/2011 21:25

This AH barbour on Ebay could be worth a try.

MrsSeanBean · 13/02/2011 21:25

Thanks Fritzi, am not going to be having access to either tomorrow - but will bear in mind if others are a failure.

Zembo · 13/02/2011 21:26

OWW sorry missed the bit about the house - if it makes you feel any better, I'm aiming for us to be in our dream house by the time I'm 50!!!

Pickled Grin at the dress for MrsJ!!! My tooth has been temporarily fixed (had a composite filling, which looks ok) - but don't know how temporary it might be, so might have to look into veneers for the future, so my teeth look like Grin!

RipMacWinkle · 13/02/2011 21:29

Just a quickie from me - DD is very snuffly and not settling at all.

Wanted to jump in and say that Debenhams have 20% off online, not sure when it ends (tonight?) but seems to be applying discount to concessions too as I just tried Warehouse.

Will need to come back later.

As you were Smile

OllieWollieWoo · 13/02/2011 21:30

Last post from me before bed - one good outcome re house is that DH is going to ring a builder a friend recommended and go round and see the extension he did on her house - this week! Seeing the house for sale and its layout made him see the potential for something similar at ours albeit on a smaller scale. So Operation Extension is moving along nicely!

mrsjuan · 13/02/2011 21:31

Ooooh - I haven't found it yet! I like the outside of the Boden one but the linings hurt my eyes.

OWW - I'm go glad that you got, and like your warehouse dress in the end Grin You will look fab.

I'm taking DD on a school trip with one of my classes tomorrow. Must be mad!

mrsjuan · 13/02/2011 21:32

Pickled - how did I miss that?! Grin

blossoming · 13/02/2011 21:36

You sound much brighter zembo. I'm so glad. I really hope you'll be up to the meet up.

ollie that is probably very wise.

redllama, you've got me hyperventilating at the thought of a red and white breton dress!

Right, my skinny cargos are on the way, and you're telling me to style them with a white shirt? And what did Natalie Massenet wear on her feet?

VerityBrulee · 13/02/2011 21:36

Fleecy fantastic news, hope you have an easy pregnancy. I was bigger much earlier with my third, and enormous by the end, but it was all fluid as I was back to normal when she was 2 weeks old.

Zembo great to hear that you are on the mend Smile

Vin sorry life seems so stressful for you now, but don't go, we would really miss you.

Can't remember half the things I was going to say, must go back to the 2 window posting method! Have just made little shortbread hearts for dc for tomorrow. Still hoping that one of these years dh will surprise me with a Tiffany box on Valentines day.

TheAllNewOoooh · 13/02/2011 21:37

MrsJ let's make a pact to let each other know if we see decent jersey blazers...

FritziGreenEyes · 13/02/2011 21:37

zembo Glad you are feeling better!

ollie Yay for extension plans! Warehouse dress is great, you'll look fab! The dress I bought and thought could be "the one" for MOAM is too summery really as I will not be able to do bare legs in March. So back to square one.

AntPants1 · 13/02/2011 21:41

Thanks fleecy will add to my growing list of things to buy once my shopping ban is lifted at the end of the month....

MrsSeanBean · 13/02/2011 21:42

Think she had ankle boots (was autumn time) but Tracey may have better memory!

mrsjuan · 13/02/2011 21:42

Ok Ooooh - will do. It is one of those things that I have a mental picture of exactly what I want and nothing quite seems to measure up.

Right - must go. I have got a Valentines card for DH (I never normally do it but thought I'd surprise him) that I'm going to put in his laptop so that he gets it when he gets to work! Did gingerbread hearts with DD this afternoon -her chant of 'more sprinkles' is still ringing in my ears!

AntPants1 · 13/02/2011 21:43

zembo not quite sure how to hit the right tone but so very pleased to hear you sound so good. I am sure it is still very difficult but you do sound really positive.

MrsSeanBean · 13/02/2011 21:43

Sorry, last post in reply to Blossoming's question about Natalie Massanet's footgear.

TheAllNewOoooh · 13/02/2011 21:43

What is going on with the model's boobs here? Not what I expect from NAP.

blossoming · 13/02/2011 21:45

fritzi, I may wear the black jbrand skinnies and shoeboots I wore last night. I felt quite rock chick and 'edgy'!

verity, how lovely. We used to do gifts, but not sny more. Dinner out was it! Hope you're not too down at the score.

traceybath · 13/02/2011 21:45

It was hunters as she was in the garden with a trilby as well I think Smile
