Oh well done Bloss, bravo!!

Oh yes Leonello Borghi bag, very nice. Just heavy with all the leather.

Fleecy · 18/02/2011 20:39

I may try the top on then and see - never thought of Zara but yes, could see how they'd be good for that sort of thing so will investigate further.

bloss that sounds promising.

DolceeBanana · 18/02/2011 20:40

And I don't know what it is but every time I hear someone is pregnant I get very emotional....and wistful. My baby is only 16 months old, and have 4.5 and 3.5 year olds (crazy woman), and so, at 41 I'm kind of done. But, hormones are strange things I guess....I was having a cuddle session with my dd tonight and thinking how wonderful babies are.....it's addictive! Shudders at thought of being pregnant again.

OllieWollieWoo · 18/02/2011 20:43

Fleecy thats hard. My best friend had been trying for 3 years before we got pregnant with DS1 and I had to tell her I was pregnant both with DS1 and DS2. She was v upset but didnt let it affect our friendship iykwim. (And then, just as she was going down the surrogate route, she had one last IVF treatment and became pregnant with twin girls)
Why do codes always appear just when I've done an order! Its a metaphor for my life!
NY - wish my 2 tried more varied foods - gave them a small jacket potato for tea to go with their pizze (homemade) and neither would touch it - despite loving roast potatoes! Why?

Fleecy · 18/02/2011 20:44

Oh gosh no dolce I could quite happily fast forward through the whole pregnancy bit! Babies and children yes, pregnancy and labour no!

Do you think you will have another?

Fleecy · 18/02/2011 20:45

Oh ollie that is tough. I know that good friends will always be happy for you (or at least try!) even if upset about their own circumstances. But wow, twins!

OllieWollieWoo · 18/02/2011 20:47

Fleecy - I really like that TS jacket. Someone in my book club wears a similar grey one and she always looks so stylish in it.
Bloss - ooooh exciting news. I'm a firm believer in 'everything happens for a reason'.

Am loving this little Friday night chat amongst friends! Wish MN had a Skype facility (would obviously change out of my yoga pants!)

blossoming · 18/02/2011 20:51

I'm completely different dolcee. I can't wait for dd to be out of nappies! I'm done with the baby stage. I've been changing nappies for 6.5 years without stop! Not to mention the expense!
pickled, that bag is gorgeous!

DolceeBanana · 18/02/2011 20:53

Oh gosh, no I didn't mean that Fleecy...I meant shudder at the thought of 4! Despite being com pletely in love with them all, they are all so close together in age, I feel it would be rather indulgent to contemplate another, so, at this stage I think, the answer is no.

PlumSykes · 18/02/2011 20:54

Have just been sucked into looking at Plain English kitchens. this is basically the look I discussed with the loevly project manager today. Apparently he has a man who has the skills to make me something along these lines.

DolceeBanana · 18/02/2011 20:55

Oh yes...I was being rather sentimental Bloss. I did think tonight as DH is out at some dinner, and I was feeling downtrodden Grin, that I just wipe arses all afternoon and evening...(sorry, but it's true) Grin

OllieWollieWoo · 18/02/2011 20:55

Plum meant to say that TS bag is lovely - just the shape I was after but yes, grey or silver. Ordered a grey box one and am still v tempted by the er silver Apple one!

Fleecy · 18/02/2011 20:56

Eek no Skype! Sloppy oversize cardi here!

Ah yes, forgot yours are very close together dolce

notyummy · 18/02/2011 20:57

Met my friend who has been diagnosed with breast cancer for coffee today. We had a really good catch up. I confessed my 'black humour' thoughts to her.... She has thick curly hair that is the Bain of her life. I suddenly thought of getting her some Moroccan Hair Oil as a gift, and was really pleased with myself until i then realised that it could be the most inappropriate gift in history as she us potentially about to lose her hair. We did have a giggle about my thought processes....

Fleecy · 18/02/2011 20:57

plum there is a poster called KristinaM (I think) who has a kitchen like that and pics on her profile. Gorgeous!

DolceeBanana · 18/02/2011 20:58

Lush, as they say in Cardiff Plum. Gurt Lush if it's Bristol. Rather nice if it's Bath...Grin

OllieWollieWoo · 18/02/2011 20:59

Wonderful kitchen Plum.

Fleecy · 18/02/2011 21:00

Not on the same scale but I once got a call from a male friend saying he had some news that had messed with his head and needed to talk. I rushed over, stopping to pick up a Creme egg for him on the way. Turned out his ex had called saying she was pregnant. Suddenly the egg seemed like a bad idea Smile

How is your friend doing?

DolceeBanana · 18/02/2011 21:00

Meanwhile...Mumsnet spontaneously combusts as avid and wise members check out KristinaM's profile page

OllieWollieWoo · 18/02/2011 21:01

LOL Dolcee - mooi (pronounced moy) as they say over here!

KILDARE4 · 18/02/2011 21:01

Great news Bloss 'hope that it works out{smile]

ABO have bought invites and Christmas cards from thiswebsite and thisone.

DH on way home from expedition early - four deaths on the mountain during the week, and so all turned back at 6500 metres, will be glad to have him home safe, but he's disappointed.

KILDARE4 · 18/02/2011 21:03

Sorry meant to press preview rather than post!

notyummy · 18/02/2011 21:04

Grin at the creme egg.

She is being v brave Fleecy although I told her she didn't to be with me. Potentially some issues with her lung that they need to clear before starting chemo. Fingers crossed nothing sinister. I have given her a huge pile of magazines and DVD boxed sets!

Oh Kildare, that's awful...thank goodness your dh safe. It will affect him emotionally no doubt.
