New thread!

Not that I've been on the old one much Blush)

Everything pleased you like the vouchers! Happy spending.

Waiting for some banana bread to cool so I can put it away and go to bed - DS1 gave a slice to a school friend who liked it and DS1 insisted I made a loaf to give to him. He was so earnest about it I couldn't say no - ahhhh. (Would have been going to bed an hour ago only I made some using plain flour by mistake - turned out looking and weighing like a flippin brick!)

carciofi · 16/02/2011 21:55

I don't buy so much there any more and returned everything I bought for DD in the spring preview but would feel mean complaining at not getting a voucher. However, I will not forget, Johnny, and I need want the downtown heels!

OllieWollieWoo · 16/02/2011 21:56

Wonder if the friend of a friend who brought 91 items in the Boden Spring Preview got a voucher?!! I didn't either.

carciofi · 16/02/2011 21:57

OWW, glad it is not just me. You are very nice making banana bread for your DS's friend.

blossoming · 16/02/2011 21:57

Well I may get this in the pebble. Great reviews. Ticks the earlier t-shirt box.

VerityBrulee · 16/02/2011 21:59

Bloss I had a project to design a rug, so I doing one inspired by the paintings of Sonia Delaunay, had lots of fun choosing the colours. Took hours to do, but would love to do another. I'd highly recommend painting as a hobby, it so absorbing it's the only time I really focus on what I'm doing rather than thinking about all the things I should be doing IYKWIM.

OllieWollieWoo · 16/02/2011 22:00

Its a MN recipe so flying the flag and all that! Something got lost in translation as his Mum mentioned it this morning and asked about the "sugared banana" her son had liked! Smile

blossoming · 16/02/2011 22:02

I'd forgotten about those downtown heels.
Well done ollie on making the banana bread, and at sorting the vouchers out.
Thanks for that link verity. Really interesting, and so stylish! I'm sitting here in DH's black hoody, over my workout clothes. Must do better..

blossoming · 16/02/2011 22:04

Wow verity, you must post photos when you're done.

VerityBrulee · 16/02/2011 22:05

I like the colour of the jeans Carciofi I bought a similar coloured pair of Baxters, planning on doing some colour blocking in pinks and reds.

OWW you are very nice to make the banana bread, I would have given up after the first loaf. I'm sure ds will be chuffed giving it to his friend though so worth the effort.

Bloss t-shirt looks good and practically free!

OllieWollieWoo · 16/02/2011 22:08

Plum kindly sorted the vouchers - thanks Plum.

Do you realise the MOAMU is only 4 weeks on Sat??? (sod shred, I need spanx!)

Right - off to bed to read a bit more of The Help. I don't want it to end!

VerityBrulee · 16/02/2011 22:10

I can't talk Bloss I'm in thermal tights and darned cardigan over my nightie Blush Will be inspired tomorrow though.

Missing lots of regulars these days. Hope everyone is still planning on making the MOAM.

carciofi · 16/02/2011 22:15

I like the colour too but don't want to discover in June that they look hideous on me. More money for my bag fund. I think I am getting my scarf addiction under control but still want more bags!

I really like these, wonder if I can persuade my cousin in NY to forward them on.

Verity, please post a picture of your design. The colours are gorgeous.

blossoming · 16/02/2011 22:25

Your link didn't go anywhere carciofi.
I just ordered the top, and with 15% off and the voucher it cost £3.70. However, when I got to the confirmation page, after I'd paid, it said, £18.70. Very annoyed.
Off to bed now lovely ladies. I need a new book ollie, so will look out for The Help.

VerityBrulee · 16/02/2011 22:33

Ring them in the morning Bloss they are good at customer service at least. You might get another voucher out of them!

Better go to bed too. Night everyone Smile

BTW, Bonsoir thanks for that Domino link earlier, I loved Domino, I had no idea they did videos, will spend a happy morning in bed this weekend searching for more Smile

Verity, thanks for the link to the NYMag. I haven't seen Garance's blog before. Lots of very lovely photos of very lovely people.

Bloss, try Top Shop, they have tons of different shapes and styles.

Zembo · 17/02/2011 06:25

Morning ladies.

OWW I've just started The Help too (and made banana muffins yesterday Smile

Carciofi thanks for reminding me about the matches code. I've ordered the abaco bronze python clutch on the top row here -hoping it'll go with an item in my Asian wardrobe. It's the first time I've ventured into exotic leathers. I'm sure bronze isn't supposed to suit me Bloss but I think it'll be ok as an accessory.

Tracey forgot to say I really like your new AH bag. Like Carciofi I'm feeling the need for more bags too. I mentioned the Hermes Constance to DH yesterday for my 40th - he was a bit Shock, might have to settle for some diamond earrings instead Grin - he can understand paying £££ for diamonds but definitely not for a bag.

Marsha gorgeous boots, I think they'll look fab on you.

Tracey and Bonsoir hope you're feeling better this morning. Tracey you've been suffering for so long, please get referred.

Vin any decisions on the job front?

Verity I'd love to see your rug design.

I'm sure there was more I wanted to say, but can't remember.

traceybath · 17/02/2011 06:31

Bloss - the total on the confirmation page just includes your voucher I think.

I also got the voucher and ordered the downtown heels in nude.

Head feels a lot better today - fingers crossed it stays that way.

carciofi · 17/02/2011 07:52

Will I look like my toddler if I wear pink Converse in the summer? :)

Zembo, diamonds or a Hermes bag sound like fab presents. Lovely matches bag.

Oops, Bloss, it is the Paige Kenya cropped trousers.

blossoming · 17/02/2011 08:10

When I got the confirmation email it did say that the voucher would be checked and then the money would be taken off. Phew!

Glad you're feeling better tracey.

carciofi, I could not wear converse and most definitely not pink ones. It all goes back to those student days when I wore them day in day out. For about 4 years. When I wasn't wearing DMs. I loved those pink converse so much. Same with the plaid shirts. I just can't do it any more!

You do sound much brighter zembo, I'm so glad you're feeling better. I think diamonds might trump a bag too! I think you always need someone else to buy you diamonds, whereas you could save up for a bag yourself iykwim.

pickled, would 40 be too old to start shopping in Topshop Blush?

blossoming · 17/02/2011 08:14

Just saw your link carciofi. They look like they could fill a spring shaped hole in the wardrobe! With a white shirt Grin.

traceybath · 17/02/2011 08:26

Zembo I love that clutch and I love how you have 2 wardrobes Smile How much is a Hermes bag as I have no idea - I do love the Constance and the Birkin but just not sure I could spend more that £600'ish on a bag - like your DH would rather invest in diamonds Grin

Carciofi - I am not a converse girl - I mean they're flat aren't they Wink

But I think you could carry them off although if I were you would wear the Boden glads more.

PlumSykes · 17/02/2011 08:27

Books: Anyone want my copy of One Day, by David Nicholls?

traceybath · 17/02/2011 08:44
