Marsha, my Penelope Chilvers boots are the most expensive boots I have ever owned and the leather is so soft and lush and matt that I am sure they will look tattered and battered in no time at all .

hahahha. Yes I was in shock and panicky so had a g&t to calm my nerves. Fixed it!

Have stepped on a mushroom so no chance of sending back now.

They are nice Bloss. (although am a bit worried about how tight they are on the model from ahem behind ahem)

bloss Have you checked flap pockets on the back? Maybe it just looks a bit odd in the picture. Uniqlo has skinny cargos in dark grey which look also promising.

NY ignore everything I said yesterday about the Lottas! I had a trying on session today and I'm sending them back, too clumpy. I think the problem is that the heel is lower than my hasbeens and the strap is thicker and looks too chunky.

I had fantastic service in Jigsaw today, although sadly there was nothing I wanted to buy. I was disappointed with the FC tops, a bit cheap cottony in the end.

Bloss, I have those combats in black, I liked them the first day but they stretched out so definitely size down.

What do you think of these cropped jeans? I tried them on but can't close them because of the bump. They fit elsewhere but is kind of hard to judge what they will be like and the reviews aren't great. I don't like the colour of the blue Boden gladiators so am exchanging for the red clogs. And I didn't get a £15 voucher from Johnny. :(

pickled, the main reason I'm not going for the houlihans is that I want to roll them up at the bottom, so I don't want a zip. The other reason is that I've just spent lots on the black jbrands, and I've worn the indigo ones so much, they may need replacing soon too. Expensive, being a jbrand junkie!

There's an interesting article here about the Sartorialist and Garance, I love their blogs, would probably not have come across EA without them. What I love most about EA is that she is 45, she makes me feel so much better about being in my 40s!
