can someone tell me what is so bad about waterfall cardigans...

Seen various comments on here along the lines of burn it and hideous.

What is so bad about them. I always think cardigans can risk looking mumsy but think these look nice and go with anything from dresses to jeans.

Someone enlighten me...

himalaya, i was mortified recently when a friend caught sight of my bf bra (waiting to to put away, not wearing it) and called it an "over the shoulder boulder holder" which is very apt but not perhaps what they should put on the box:)

Ok for those of you who like them, do you think they are more slimming if the longest bit is at the front or side?

I'm 5'7" size 12/14 boy shaped.

I can see that they appeal to tummy-concealing tendencies, but there has to be another way. They just scream fat, and actually draw attention to it.

I loathe them with a passion- think they look frumpy and make those of us who are large look larger still.

Listen up- if you are fat or have ig boobs a WF cardi does NOT hide these. It just screams "I have a fat middle and am trying to hide it."

Clothes that are loose do NOT make you look slimmer- they make you look bigger. Like a shapeless sack.

Don't like them at all. Waterfall cardigans are too 'mumsy' for my liking.

They are like chenille jumpers a few years ago. Everywhere and a bit rubbish.
