Oh Congratulations MM Smile And yes fingers crossed here too.

Up at the crack of dawn here too NY but that was because of DD.

LetThemEatCake · 11/12/2010 09:47

oh MM that is fabulous. Huge and heartfelt congrats from me. Smile

sorry about the early rising ladies Sad

well, I went out last night to an artists' studios Xmas thingy. Was fun. Wore black rats with edelmans and Chloe black dress with cut out back thingy. And rabbit fur, over which I copped some abuse (from a meat eater - weird) Anyhoo, had a good time, ended up at the pub but wisely drove so only one glass.

DH has just left for a stag weekend in Brighton so I am going to swing into single mum action. Wink Hope everyone has a good Saturday.

vin she said that animals being bred for survival ie food = fine but for vanity/ beauty not fine. She expressed massive surprise that I was a veggie and, rather insultingly, a mother (i find it adtounding that you are a mother of three....would you want your children tortured like those rabbits...??) I didn't dare say that my vegetarianism is less about concern for animals and more about vanity too.... Well, that and the fact that meat makes me feel sluggish

I nearly succumbed to outnet yesterday too but it sold as I was entering my new card details, phew!! (Adam feathery fringed skirt)

MM - oh my god - congratulations!! Not to scare you re twins, but I was showing from quite early on... And the fluid retention was not good - was bloated from the moment of conception, it seemed. Have everything crossed for you!!

LTEC - hmm, one thing to think "I wouldn't wear that", quite another to attack someone over it!! So rude and clueless. Is it not possible that the bunnies were bred for food and then skin used, also? Hope you managed to have a good time, despite. Outfit sounds fab!

Vin - oh, go you good thing, baby Vino! How adorable!

Mint Velvet order arrived so off to see if I can squeeze myself into a size 10 dress - obv w much assistance from tummy binder thingo.

BTW am certain I have thrush in my nipples / baby bunnykins mouths - how how how??? God, its one thing after another with my attempts at breastfeeding Sad. Will pack the baby bunnykins off to the Dr early next week for diagnosis and treatment. In the meantime am trying to cut down on the sugar and yeast. Fun.

MarshaBrady · 11/12/2010 10:42

MM congratulations and hope a goes well Smile.

MarshaBrady · 11/12/2010 10:48

Am getting house prepared for visitors. Bah to mid-week cleaners. Wink Grin.

traceybath · 11/12/2010 10:48

Bunny - thrush is so painful - I'd be tempted to try and get something today if possible.

LTEC - how rude of other person.

MarshaBrady · 11/12/2010 10:51

Oh bunny good luck hope all ok. Bf'ding in early days is full on. Particularly so with two! little sdorable bunnikens.

FritziGreenEyes · 11/12/2010 10:52

MM congratulations! So happy for you.

cake, outfit sounds great! That woman is yet another example of people who do say anything that comes into their mind no matter how stupid it is. Hope you had a great time anyway.

I'm at the hairdressers wearing my beloved Janice-Belstaff combo. Might pop into MAC shop later to get some eye make-up and lipstick.

Vino so exciting that baby-vino is walking! LOL at failed shredding attempt. That could have been me :-)

Bunny hope you and the bunnikins are ok. Is DD1 better?

blossoming · 11/12/2010 11:25

Morning all!
DS off to a party, dh feeding dd who's two words are 'daddy' and 'bow wow'. So I am redundant.
whatswrongwithyou, that's really interesting re the chocolate brown, but I suppose it goes to show that it's not an exact science cf roary and her love of magenta. esher, the best I can offer you is taupe and mink. Sorry!
notyummy, I feel for you, you've had a bad few weeks! Hope you get to drink relax with your guests this weekend.
monkeysmama, fingers crossed all goes well. Congratulations though!
vino, those expensive tights had a nerve falling down. I hate it when that happens. I must say I am very happy with my m&s ones, or pretty polly opaques I can buy in the co-op!
Well done babyvin on the walking. Dd is still resistant!
ltec, I think that's really rude of the other person. Your outfit sounds fab. Good luck on your own this weekend.
fritzi, sounds like you have a lovely day in store. Have fun!
bunnymother, thinking about you and your lovely girls. Hope you get a diagnosis soon.
Hi to everyone else. Will be back later.

MarshaBrady · 11/12/2010 11:39

Hells have pm'd you. (iPhone will not let me finish it properly hope you get the gist)

Zembo · 11/12/2010 13:04

Huge congrats MM - you take good care of yourself and enjoy!

Tracey and Tethers thanks for boot links - Tracey yours are particularly lovely although not after ones which include faux fur. Think I need to do some real life trying on.

Cake I'm not off to B'desh until next Sat. Got my DS's party tomorrow -totally unprepared in terms of food. Off to a swimming and bouncy castle party now and won't be back until 6pm so will be a late night tonight (still no birthday cake etc!)
Wearing gap skinnies with black shoeboots, navy gap cowl neck top (no link) but quite drapey at front and different fabric at back, brora navy star scarf and navy white co poncho thing. I think it looks ok but always wonder about mixing black and navy - I think it's a total no-no in some peoples books?

Have a good w/e everyone!

mrsjuan · 11/12/2010 13:14

Oh congratulations mm! Keeping everything crossed for you.

bunny hope you can get the thrush sorted soon. You are doing so fantastically well. Is your DH back at work now?

vin how exciting about the walking - it's a lovely stage isn't it?

bunnymother · 11/12/2010 13:38

Zembo - why not buy a cake either w or without icing? Not like your DS will care - sounds to be a marvellous party you are throwing him and your DD sounds to be v excited about it all. Poss more important you get some sleep tonight so you can enjoy it tomorrow rather than do an all nighter baking a cake. Just a thought!!

Thanks for sympathies, Wise Ladies! Will wait till Dr surgery opens on Monday then trot off. I can bear it in the meantime. But will buy some acidophilus his weekend as well as cut sugar an yeast. DD1 is fortunately recovered and DH has his sense of humour back - yay! DH only had 5 days paternity leave - he is funding the whole Baby Bunny Enterprise.

They are an excellent present for your sister! AND I can see why you like them.

Wellll re the dress, you would look excellent in it. Understated and vair chic.... walks out backwards as final words fade away.... understated and chic... understated and chic (shhhhh)

Grin
MarshaBrady · 11/12/2010 16:59

I had a funny ol' day today. Lost my bloody iphone I am very upset about this!!

Then in the rush to try and find it I didn't get stuff together for the inlaws for lunch. So they took us to a restaurant for lunch (Italian) Shock. I actually enjoyed it! And had half a bottle of prosecco with dh (I mean I couldn't quite ask for champagne!). Given how much I was suffering from some sort of flight feelings this morning it wasn't too bad Grin
