Have not had time to catch up properly yet I'm afraid - got too much rl hassle to sort before can read thtread at leisure and enjoy all links. Am hoping will all be done by tonight so can indulge in thread once dd's in bed Smile

but quickly, LTEC , LRD - I have this one languishing in my wardrobe. Worn once Blush. If you like it I can bring it on Sunday. Size 8 but quite a generous 8. I don't quite have either the legs (it's pretty short) or the shoulders for it (top looks slightly too oversized on me).

LetThemEatCake · 10/12/2010 11:01

esher really? that's so kind. I'd love to give it a whirl. Can try on in loos on Sunday and give you ££ on the spot. Thank you!!

I've arrived. Three hours later!

Romanarama · 10/12/2010 11:37

Where are you bloss? How many miles have you gone?

traceybath · 10/12/2010 12:21

Hello.

Well after a trying start to the day with me getting very cross with eldest dc - we then ventured into town and had a lovely time. All dc's beautifully behaved and had one of those smug moments which I rather enjoyed as they are few and far between when I have all 3 with me Grin

Zembo - I whizzed into Russell & Bromley in homage to Bloss and bought these They looked good with my skinnies - could they work for you perhaps?

Bloss - oh dear nightmare journey!

Romana - tall, elegant and scary sounds fab to me Smile

tethersjinglebellend · 10/12/2010 12:25

I suppose you've seen these, Zembo?

These? Or these? Or these? Or these?

eshermummy · 10/12/2010 12:28

oooooh no, I don't want any ££ for it.
If it fits and you like it's yours Smile
will bring on sunday

quick q - these have just arrived. They have a certain snuggly charm but am wondering whether I should have got the black? I got the brown in order to justify further boots purchase but am now thinking black = better. All my other ankle boots are black, I wear a lot of grey and black. Brown boots look a bit funny with grey don't they?

Mumsnut · 10/12/2010 19:12

VIPSALE for 25% off Kurt Geiger. Anyone know if the Sadlers have a true shearling lining or just fluffy fabric?

blossoming · 10/12/2010 19:55

esher, I'm sure you know my opinion on grey and brown together!

What a day. I was the one throwing random items into my trolley then collapsing in a heap in, look away now, McDonalds (where there were mums I knew, so had company!)
Then back roads to s'sburys, main road still closed, where I got my Christmas wine, smoked salmon and liquid glucose. Will buy everything else foody, locally.

About to sit down and open one of the wines!

traceybath · 10/12/2010 20:30

Bloss - I was wondering today - you do speak Welsh don't you? And I have such an image of you as this beacon of S&B amongst the school mums Smile

eshermummy · 10/12/2010 20:40

Tracey - those boots are lovely! Will you be wearing them on sunday Envy

Bloss am guessing you are not a fan of brown and grey together no?

Mumsnut I don't know about the lining of the sadlers but they look good. I ordered a black pair of biker Uggs this afternoon (should be here tomorrow) - can I face ordering the KG's too and comparing?
What colour are you thinking of btw?

What was the consensus on meet-up attire btw ladies?

traceybath · 10/12/2010 20:55

Esher I am feeling very fat so may well be wearing a tent Grin

How was the my-wardrobe gilet?

blossoming · 10/12/2010 20:55

tracey, the mums in McDs today look like they eat every meal there. They are big, and have the biggest personalities! I must admit it's them I hang out with on mum's group night out though!
I do dress differently from local people though. A bit more grown up (but I am much older). When I was in school Jigsaw and Next had just opened in Chester. I shopped in Jigsaw, my friends were in Next!
We all speak Welsh. My town has the highest percentage of Welsh speakers anywhere. It's like 80%.

hellsbelles · 10/12/2010 20:55

me too tracey - I've just eaten my own body weight in biscuits. I'm not sure about the rest of my outfit but one thing is for sure - SPANX Wink

hellsbelles · 10/12/2010 20:56

bloss - is grey and brown really really bad?

blossoming · 10/12/2010 20:58

esher, there is no brown in a winter or summer palette where grey belongs!

traceybath · 10/12/2010 21:01

Hells - I've just mine in the washing machine Smile

Bloss - thats amazing!

blossoming · 10/12/2010 21:01

I've sold all my brown stuff hells!
