So are you EIE really then?

DTI10 · 03/12/2010 23:03

eshermummy - I saw in rl these today, looked better on another woman in the shop with smaller feet whilst I was pretending to seek through the large sizes.....

girl in the office wore today with jeans

sold out in smaller sizes on this site

In my continued quest to find something similar to Belstaffs I tried them on. They fit and make my feet look decent but they are not Belstaffs.....

I could really eat Cake's cake now.

AllBuggiedOut · 03/12/2010 23:39

Thanks for further advice re hunters. Am now wondering whether I should try Aigles instead Confused

Going to retire now with the ASOS mag. Night all.

tethersjinglebellend · 04/12/2010 00:21

Dolcee, what colour coat are you after? Nice cream one here

esher, not those, although they looked nice too- can't remember what they're called, but they were black with a crepe-ish sole.

happilyeverafter · 04/12/2010 00:48

Another latenight post from me;

cake I'm sure the cake looks fab, stop fiddling with it!

carciofi I got a navy quilt cavalary, pig to find as sold out everywhere but very happy with it.

bonsoir goodness your life sounds glam!

After a being snowbound since Tuesday morning my studio text to say they were tuning one class tonight and one tomorrow morning. It took two hours to dig out my car but I made the class, am sleeping at my parents tonight as it's two miles away so walking distance for morning class. Feel sonmuch better for doing something physical, typically dd refused tonsleepnin her bedroom
At mums so she is on spare bed in sisters room, dad forgot to turn on thermostat in my room so now curled up with dd making up for lost cuddles

geordieminx · 04/12/2010 02:09

cake what have you bought?????

Cant sleep here. Went to bed just after 10, but ds wasnt well so I woke up, of course he's gone back ogg and I'm wide a frikkin wake Hmm

Zembo · 04/12/2010 07:24

Poor WIT woman - I'm sure if I met her in real life I'd think she was lovely!

Cakey when's the party? and what have you been buying Wink. Sure everyone will be impressed with your cake.

Tethers hope you stay this time

Tracey yes dry skin here too, I'm slathering 8 hour cream on my face, Flexitol on my feet and various other lotions and potions everyday.

LetThemEatCake · 04/12/2010 08:33

well ds1's reaction this morning was pure delight although I still think it looks odd. Think half the prob is that the colour scheme (brown and white) makes it look less special/ pretty than the ones I've done for dd and ds2 before (lots of glitter and shine)

Party is at 1 so I am off to fill the lunch boxes. and make the grown up food. Actual b'day is tomorrow and ds1 wants to go to lunch to a restaurant he has become obsessed by simply bc of the name Grin even though I know full well he will not like the food. Then it's the Carol concert, for which they are supposed to dress in Xmassy things but are having babymonkey moments and insisting on dressing in their Shrek and Fiona costumes. Grin

Have good days all.

Have good days all.

I am missing my snowboots.

blossoming · 04/12/2010 08:36

Good luck with everything this weekend ltec.

MarshaBrady · 04/12/2010 08:45

Morning. Fab night had to walk home at midnight. Was rather lovely and quiet Grin

God regretting saying anything about bloody WIT woman now!

The Sartorialist , people. Is better.

MarshaBrady · 04/12/2010 08:50

Have now booked into a beautiful lodge in the mountains on holiday.

LetThemEatCake · 04/12/2010 09:39

blossoming · 04/12/2010 10:07

I'm in stripey janice, a black slightly slouchy v neck over it (dress is a 10, jumper is silk jigsaw XL wtf from a few years ago), finishes at waist, I think it works. Black opaqes and black flat boots I wore at meet up. Also my grey m&s coat, scarf and beret. That coat has been great and coped with -12C on Monday!

Good luck with teddy bear party zembo.

Right, I think I've arrived! Mad rush to hairdressers now!

VerityBrulee · 04/12/2010 10:08

Marsha lodge sounds beautiful. College great thanks, but have had to miss it all week, it was closed Wed and Thurs so hopefully I haven't missed too much. Glad you got to do some work yesterday, it's so frustrating when you are itching to do something but can't due to logistics!

Bloss watched match last night, well kind of read magazine and pretended to watch it Blush DS2 distraught as his favourite player, Jonathan Sexton had a bad night. I would hate my ds to play in that position, too much responsibility - you have a bad day and the team loses. He's a lovely guy, ds has met him a few times and he's always great about signing things and photos. Have a fantasic day in London, if you are in the area nip in to Anthropologie on Regent Street for me, I'd say their Christmas decorations are gorgeous.

Esher a friend has the Kensington Uggs and I really like them, they look good on. I'm not a big Ugg fan but there is nothing to compare when it comes to keeping your feet warm. I'm tempted myself Smile

Dexter thanks a million for that link, have ordered a pair Smile

Zembo and Cake enjoy the birthdays, your dc are so lucky.

ABO your dc have chicken pox? Poor you, I hope it's a mild dose. Have you seen the Ilse Jacobsen boots they have them in Avoca, fleece lined, look toasty.

Hells about this time last year I had a really irritated scalp, it was driving me mad. I got a recommendation here for a medicated shampoo, but it didn't work, so I decided to leave it on my wet hair for a while. After about 20mins, I thought I'd comb it through to make it easier to rinse. Imagine my horror when I combed out at least a dozen huge head lice Shock I literally screamed! I ran to the laptop and started a thread "OMG I have headlice - what do I do?"
It was dd who had caught them at school, all 3 dc had them too. At the time the dc also had swine flu. Yes, November 2009, I look back on it fondly!

Dh home today, and no amount of icy pavements will keep me from the shops. I will get a taxi in and out of town to minimise slipping opportunities.

BTW, it was me who got the starry bag, saw it in Vogue, emailed Jigsaw as it was sold out on the website, lovely lady tracked one down in Brighton and had it sent to me. It is lovely, I had a sneaky look at it, before giving it to my mum, who will give it back to me on Christmas morning Grin I also have my eye on another bag to get from dh, I really need help for my handbag addiction.

I think the WIT lady is lovely, but like MB I love the Sartorialist and Garance Dore for inspiration.
