Oh my God, I choked (try and hum along to We Three Kings...)!! But here is the new thread.

OP posts:
MarshaBrady · 27/11/2010 11:16

I still adore that Paul&Joe dress ^Vin*. Love it. Could look very good indeedy!

NaP pick up returns I think Vin? So you won't have to trudge to the dreaded po.

MM agree with others, the other adults are being rather silly, the children will love the pumpkin.

monkeysmama · 27/11/2010 11:28

Tracey that has made me very happy. I have a coat my dsis calls my pirate coat and we have a parrot cuddly toy somewhere. I am going to do it. I have sprayed some Batiste in my face (accidentally) & it seems to have coated my eye in painful power so I may need an eye patch anyway.

Cakey my dd has that owl dress too.

monkeysmama · 27/11/2010 11:30

Roary are you here? I want to order the coat. I'm a 12 with a chest. Will medium be small?

The spitting story is occupying lots of my thoughts. It's so horrible. Scarring for life type episode.

hellsbelles · 27/11/2010 11:31

ltec - can you remind me of address - I'm coming - and I'm in London anyway so can get to anywhere.

Currently trying to fend off extreme tiredness and get 'in the mood' for MN meet up lunch followed by the MN party. Really feel like I'm not going to make the party. I feel really really blurghhhh.

Now - I've just got to work out where I've got to be?!

traceybath · 27/11/2010 11:32

Yeay MM!

Both little ones asleep - DS2 is so full of cold and cough and utterly miserable which is most unlike him. He has gone and put himself to bed.

DH and DS1 have gone off to local National Trust place for an adventure.

Think I'm going to have to go to Drs and get antibiotics as this sinus thing is just not going and its been over 6 weeks now.

Oh and I'm not ungrateful but why does DH get my xmas presents delivered here so I see where they're from and can therefore guess what they are - it would be so easy for him to get them delivered to the office. And am aware that does sound very spoilt Blush

Wheres good for thermals for dc's? Oh and love the sound of the owl dress.

monkeysmama · 27/11/2010 11:36

Dd has good M&S thermals. Pop (Scandi brand) do good ones and have shop at Westfield.

monkeysmama · 27/11/2010 11:39

Have fun Hells - am pleased you'll be flying the (Lily & Lionel?) flag for the A&W gang.

pickledsiblings · 27/11/2010 11:40

M&S for kids' thermals.

pickledsiblings · 27/11/2010 11:41

x posts mm. Great minds and all that.

OllieWollieWoo · 27/11/2010 13:04

Laptop on last legs - keeps shutting itself down after 10 mins in use so if I disappear for any length of time you know its completely broken!

Had a lovely dinner last night - food v good - had the surprise menu - which was more than a surprise to me as I didnt understand the waiter when we told us what each course was! I wore a grey jersey dress with opaques and shoe boots but one of the other females wore brown combats. Hasbeens I here you ask? No, combats. With a chunky brown jumper. I ask you! She needs some W&A in her life!

Back from DH's work Sinterklaas party - boys looked very cute running around in their Zwarte Piet hats - will post a pic on FB. They got great presents too - a mini football table for DS1 and a huge great truck thing for DS2. Loved seeing their faces when they opened them.

Going to post this now before it gets wiped. Sorry for not referring to other posts - will try again later!

traceybath · 27/11/2010 13:07

Thanks ladies - have ordered thermals for the children from m&S and some for me too.

OWW sounds a good evening!

hellsbelles · 27/11/2010 13:19

In the cab and on my way. Tons of creams on face in an attempt at 'radiance' to hide tiredness! Ltec. I did chuckle when read you h&m post. Dd has the very same owl dress.

blossoming · 27/11/2010 13:50

traceyb, I'm with you on the dh presents thing.
Heating not working here, what a day!
Have fun hells and monkeysmama.
dh will now have to build a fire. Lovely!

roary · 27/11/2010 13:52

monkey am here! Just watch out on postage may be more exxy than I thought. But coat on sale!!! I think a medium should be fine. Large could be gigantic.

Will catch up soon properly. But chaotic here today.

blossoming · 27/11/2010 15:11

I will be needing some of those if the heating isn't fixed soon georgina! Luckily an engineer is round right now. They say the snow could last till Christmas! I just hope they don't shut my new school, Tuesday, cancel Christmas Market, Thursday, and that trains are still running, Saturday. I shall be mightily p'd off if any of my plans change!

Bonsoir · 27/11/2010 15:36

Hello everyone! I felt really dreadful, weak and dizzy, this morning - I think I had a touch of whatever virus has been afflicting DSS2 - and lounged on the sofa before having a bath, and have now been lying in bed for a few hours. And I feel so much better - better than usual - that I think I should take to my bed more often Smile. Though it has made DP very grumpy that I haven't been running around after him and the DCs as I usually do on Saturdays. Fortunately DD has a birthday party at the neighbour's and DP has a meeting at his flying club and the boys have lots of homework so everyone is occupied.

Well done on ordering the very nice Goat cardi-coat, tracey. DP was a bit Hmm about how much I spent on DD's boots but didn't dare say any more when I pointed out that they were compensation to me for taking care of ill DSS2 for two days!

Romanarama · 27/11/2010 16:17

His flying club bonsoir. That sounds extremely glam.

We have just been budgeting. I suggested I could save by spending less on clothes and dh just laughed Grin. Right response Wink.

Romanarama · 27/11/2010 16:18

Glad you feel better by the way. How is roary? And Zembo? Hope that you are being properly looked after.

Bonsoir · 27/11/2010 16:25

He finds flying relaxing Hmm - he even managed to take us over to my parents' in Kent for Sunday lunch in late September, but I had to make him fly totally straight as I get impossibly sick in those tiny planes. DD loves it - she's got the ski-ing/funfair/flying/speeding gene from him because I haven't got that gene at all Biscuit

Glad your DH doesn't want you to save money on clothes!
