roary I thought that the purple bit was to remain hidden and stop the loop from straying too far. Looking at Miss-WIT though she has done something so it's visible and holds excess beltage in a natty fashion. I've just tied mine in knots but still none the wiser how to do that!

blossoming · 25/10/2010 19:18

Were they the 'verdugo jegging' carciofi? I shouldn't ask really, as I'm really happy with my M&S jeggings, but just in case..! I did use to love Paige so much. I had an email from NAP suggesting J Brand love story jeans. They look wrong to me now. All that flair!

I have had an eureka moment. For my stall I am going to have half home made chutney/mincemeat/raspberry cordial/edible christmas tree decorations, and then on the craft side I'm going to try home made soaps and lip balms (!!), and make drawstring washbags. I have found a cheap waterproof lining, and because I use less fabric, I can use the gorgeous scottie dog fabric, the apple cerise and maybe skull and cross bones for boys. That's it now. Decision made!

carciofi · 25/10/2010 19:36

Blossoming, sounds great. I would buy the lot! Yes, they are the verdugo jeggings. They are nice but I got the grey James Jeans jeggings recently.

carciofi · 25/10/2010 19:43

Should I get this black cardigan or hang on and hope this goes in the sale?

dexter73 · 25/10/2010 19:46

Hang on, definitely!

carciofi · 25/10/2010 20:00

That's what I am leaning towards! Thanks Dexter.

hf128219 · 25/10/2010 20:11

carciofi bargain here

Zembo Oh, congratulations!

traceybath · 25/10/2010 20:18

Bonsoir - that outfit sounds fab! Particularly liking sound of bondage shoes Grin

Carciofi - wait!

Bloss - oooh red bag and grey beret - now thats a good combination Smile

Biscuits a great success - rather too yummy in fact.

LTEC - where are you?

monkeysmama · 25/10/2010 20:28

I love the sound of your outfit Bonsoir.

Will have a look at hats on M&S later.

traceybath · 25/10/2010 20:29

MM - meant to ask are you activley ttc now? Know you mentioned doing a pregnancy test the other day.

Also - have you been back to the park cafe?

carciofi · 25/10/2010 20:37

HF, I get "no results found" when I open your link.

loobylu3 · 25/10/2010 20:40

zembo- huge cogratulations!

carciofi- wait for the cardi!

bonsoir- can we have a link to the shoes please?

hf128219 · 25/10/2010 20:46

carciofi

try again

monkeysmama · 25/10/2010 20:48

Not been back to park cafe Blush. I will do soon but I am very embarrassed.

We aren't actively trying yet but not doing anything to prevent it iyswim apart from dp being away all the time! I think we will start really trying post Christmas. Probably. I feel a bit Confused about it all. My pg with dd2 was wonderful but very fraught for dp and my family (not me) and I want some calm time before I go through that again. At the moment me and dd are a great team and our life is brilliant particuarly since my dad has been well again. I want to enjoy things a bit before being pg again & not being able to laugh without someone warning me not to hurt the baby! If I am really honest, I should have two dds now and that's what I want back really. It's crazy because dd1 will obviously never be alive again but it makes it hard for me to think about it rationally sometimes. I definitely want dd to have a sibling. It is hard! I just want things to be how they should've been! What a reply Tracey. Sorry! Blush

carciofi · 25/10/2010 20:52

MM, that is so sad, so sorry about your dd1.

Thanks HF, I saw that too but prefer the more expensive one (figures!).

traceybath · 25/10/2010 20:55

MM - I totally get what you mean. Hopefully though having seen how wonderful you are with DD your family will be much calmer in your next pregnancy. I always envisage you with a little tribe of monkeys Grin

FritziGreenEyes · 25/10/2010 21:02

MM So sorry about DD1. I had no idea that you had to go through something horrible like that.

traceybath · 25/10/2010 21:04

Fritzi - meant to say what a brilliant post you did earlier replying to everyone. I'm so rubbish at that and remember things I meant to post to some-one whilst changing nappies Smile

MarshaBrady · 25/10/2010 22:06

Yes fritzi was great post. (I haven't decided yet, bit slow!).

Brother has been here, from Berlin, have been cooking loads and drinking some red wine. Has been good but quite tiring (another male, inundated).

happilyeverafter · 25/10/2010 22:23

fritzi I was also v. impressed with your long post.

MM so sorry to read about your dd1.

bloss the wash bags and lip balms sound a great idea as do the soaps. My butcher always has a great selection of preserves and chutneys (cupcakes and buntings too, mrs butcher is LA obsessed) and I love perusing them.

happilyeverafter · 25/10/2010 22:29

Oh just to add that I am currently wearing a very avid ensemble of DH long johns, pj vest, spotty pj bottoms, ugg boots and three ikea cheapola fleece blankets. DD was very enthusiastic in her hugging this morning and my toasty warm merino/cash dressing gown was covered in toothpaste. I'm on the sofa, home alone and it's so cold! I will be going to bed soon with my three(!) hot water bottles.

blossoming · 25/10/2010 22:30

monkeysmama, you poor thing. Keep strong.

Had champagne with dh to celebrate anniversary. On a Monday!! Delish!

bunnymother · 26/10/2010 02:29

MM - oh I didn't know about your DD1, so v sorry to read that.

Bloss - happy anniversary!

Pregnancy insomnia...

Zembo · 26/10/2010 06:03

Thanks for all your good wishes ladies Smile. I'm feeling fine at the moment, perhaps a little early for the nausea etc. Very much looking forward to having lovely thick hair again for the last time in my life Grin. happily yes am lucky it didn't take long to get up the duff - it's all that boring charting stuff I do and a bit of luck of course Smile

Bunny sorry to hear about the insomnia, nature's way of getting us ready for what's ahead I think!

MM felt v Sad reading your post.

I've bought a few things from Ebay recently (also trying to sell some bits)- will report back if I have any successes. I find Ebay a bit hit and and usually miss!

Have a fab Tuesday everyone.

bunnymother · 26/10/2010 07:44

Zembo - yes, was thinking that you must have conceived within 5 mins of trying - nice to avoid the TTC angst (I got it despite not trying for long - it sneaks up on you v quickly I found). Have insomnia as have much to do before babies arrive, Inc damp problems being fixed in flat etc, so get v stressed at times and convince myself babies are coming any minute. NEED to relax a bit.
