Thanks marsha. They don't sell on line, hence the photo on profile. They have a great range of riding boots too. Worth a look!

OllieWollieWoo · 18/10/2010 22:03

Re famous MN's thread - Leona Lewis's aunt came on and some MNers got it straight away from her lovely profile pics. Then another MN came on saying she got married in 2003 and it was on the front pages but I never found out who! Thats was about as far as I got before the Stokke incident!

Do you remember a top I linked to last week from M&S Autograph range - pale silver or dark pink pintuck blouse thingy? Well, my sister also brought it and saw my other sister and Mum yesterday whilst wearing it and now they are both getting it as well! Am a bit hmph about it - esp as I ordered it but will have to wait til my trip over to pick it up. Does it sound bitchy to say that I've gone off it a bit??? It does doesn't it?!

eshermummy · 18/10/2010 22:18

OWW - no, I don't think it's at all out of order to go off something if your entire family also goes out and buys one Grin

Marsha - Bloss is right - there are some amazing R&B black glossy riding boots that they use in their current press ad campaign.

blossoming · 18/10/2010 22:23

ollie, I would be really annoyed. I don't think you're being bitchy at all!

rufus101 · 18/10/2010 22:49

Blossoming I look a bit like you! (But not like Zooey whatshername! If only!) I've dark straight hair and dark blue eyes. I'll say to him, "I want to look like that Welsh bird what gets her hair done here! You know, the one who looks like Zooey whatshername!"

DTI10 · 18/10/2010 23:02

carciofi thank you for the link to the Anglomania dress. It's beautiful. I think I am going to try it on. The shoes were purchased today, a mad dash to LK Bennett at 6.25pm and one happy leopard print purchaser later.

I have been trying them on with various trousers and dresses tonight. Think I need an injection of red.

eie - thank you too for the ebay reference for LK B's, will look tomorrow.

Smile Smile Smile

blossoming · 19/10/2010 07:35

rufus, much as I love eie's description, I have green eyes not blue (for a start!)

FritziGreenEyes · 19/10/2010 07:58

Morning ladies! Hope the dolcettes are better today and ollie's DS has a good night's sleep despite his purple scar. Another bad night here with DD coughing like mad. No chance of a nap today as cleaner is coming later.

*ollie that is annoying about the blouse. Just imagine you all wearing it for Christmas or another family gathering. Will be known as the ollie-family-uniform. If you link again we'll find you another even nicer one, so you can outshine them all Smile.

DTI I'm in awe of those leopard shoes. Could never walk in such a high, spindly heel. That Anglomania dress is lovely.

Love the peacoat carciofi!

notyummy · 19/10/2010 09:04

I am struggling to keep up!

I hope the poorly children all feel a bit better today - the pox ridden ones (Dolcee) and the cough/battle scarred ones (OWW).

Last year DD burned her hand really badly on a heater (that was supposed to be safe Angry. We initially treated at home (cold water etc) but any time we tried to take it out of water she started screaming so DH took her to A & E. The staff asked him quite a few searching questions because it looked like someone could have held her hand against something Sad. So awful to think about some of the non-accidental injuries the staff must sometimes see. DH could completely understand why he was being asked the asked the questions, but felt really guilty anyway. After wearing a huge bandage for a couple of days, the hand healed completely and there is now no scars.

Loving all the links, and the lipstick discussion. Anyone remember Rimmel's Heather Shimmer...or is that just me??

AllBuggiedOut · 19/10/2010 09:43

So sorry about poorly and injured children Sad. Hope everybody has sunshine to keep up their spirits today.

In celebration of said sunshine, I'm coat-less today. I'm wearing the Vero Moda long cowl neck jumber with pockets at the hip that a few of us bought from Asos in summer (think everything you recommended it to me) which I dyed navy (wise), with mink American Vintage leggings, gold DKNY pumps and (sadly) the Accessorise version of this little beauty. Am very pleased with ensemble Smile. What's everybody else wearing?

blossoming · 19/10/2010 09:55

Are you warm enough without a coat abo? Wink

I'm wearing an above the knee grape coloured dress over jeggings with black Celtic sheepskin boots (now relegated to indoor use only) inside. I had my short r&b ankle boots with Barbour for school run. I can't wait for it to be cold enough for my beret also!

I am in a state of chaos preparing apple pie for thanksgiving dinner at chapel. Left to her own devices dd has taken everything out of every cupboard and is chewing on a garlic clove.

I hope the poorly dcs are better, and sorry you had another bad night fritzi.

notyummy · 19/10/2010 10:00

Grin at the garlic clove! Apparently it has many medical uses....so a good choice by your dd.

I am working from home. We have no heating until Friday (barring a gas fire in the sitting room.) Consequently I am in thick jogging bottoms, t shirt, fleece (I know, I know....but this is survival here, people!) thick socks and slippers. About to make a cup of tea and wrap my hands around for warmth purposes. Will be doing a double shred later for the same reason....

AllBuggiedOut · 19/10/2010 10:20

Gorgeous blouse looby. Such a great colour.

notyummy · 19/10/2010 10:22

MarshaBrady · 19/10/2010 10:22

Ha I know damn autocorrect!

Love the blouse Smile

linking tis a good skill on this thread Grin

rufus101 · 19/10/2010 10:27

I remember heather shimmer NY! looked bloody awful on me too, but it was lipstick so I didn't care!

blossoming · 19/10/2010 10:29

I'm not sure what's worse notyummy: no heating or double shred! I still hate that level 2 with a passion.

7 year anniversary is copper and wool apparently. I tried to buy dh a smythson iPhone cover in black on Saturday but they were out of stock. I think they have a brown one online. He's paying for dinner!!
