Star that ASOS number might be useful for work depending on what line of work your in Wink Grin

Notyummy made your fab soup for lunch - my friend liked it enough to ask for the recipe. I've made it several times now, thanks again!

I bought some of this Decleor stuff yesterday, hoping it'll sort out uneven skin tone on my face.

Zembo · 07/10/2010 13:41

that should be you're in

notyummy · 07/10/2010 13:44

You're welcome Zembo. I have just had Waitrose Moroccan Chicken soup from their store here in the middle of Nottingham. It was delicious.

ny bloss and other meet-up ladies, I get in to Liverpool Street at 1pm so 12.45 no good for me. Happy to go anywhere really for 2pm or even 1.45?

Welcome a star

hellsbelles · 07/10/2010 13:48

oh that recipe sounds good...can I be cheeky and ask for a link?

I suddenly feel the need for a red coat what about this?

PlumSykes · 07/10/2010 13:56

Gorgeous coat, Hells, and perfect style for you, I think.

I have this FC red coat from a couple of years ago, which I plan to resurrect shortly. Still had long hair last winter, so all my coats look so different now. An H&M camel wool trench I bought while pg with DS looked a bit Eurotrash with longer locks, but is chicly French now!

stamp stamp stamp

What about the American Bar at the Savoy Bloss? Or Fortnum. Will be back tonight.

notyummy · 07/10/2010 14:05

Hells. My healthy beany soup receipe (I now know it roughly by heart!) Very easy...

600g of chopped tinned toms
500 mls of veg stock
Sprinkling of cumin seeds (or ground cumin)
Chilli powder/Lazy chilli sauce (I use about a teaspoon of sauce - you would need more for powder)
Tin of mixed beans
small tin of sweetcorn
handful of chopped fresh coriander (important it is fresh rather than dried)
One onion
one chopped red pepper

Fry the onion for a few minutes and then pop the pepper in (I use that one-cal veg oil spray.) Cook for around 5 mins. Add cumin and chilli. Cook for another couple of minutes and then add tomatos and veg stock. Simmer for 10 minutes and then add beans and sweetcorn. Simmer for another 5 mins, season and then stir the coriander through.Good served with a dollop of fat free greek style yoghurt, or a speinkle of cheese if you are feeling devilish.

Just received outnet delivery. Jeans dreadful but cashmere jumper utterly gorgeous.

notyummy · 07/10/2010 14:08

Fleecy - Useful to know - helps us narrow down the options! Still got a couple of options in F &M potentially, Hix place or Sofitel. Off to google Choos suggestion...

thanks NY! Looks very tasty - I shall try it this weekend.

Tracey - will you stop taunting me with that link Wink - gutted I missed it but so glad you got it. Looks a great buy.

Thanks Plum - I think it does look pretty good...as does yours! It is weird how different hair works with different outfits. I am currently touting a big mushroom head which works with NOTHING. My normal hairdresser was ill yesterday and lovely but not very talented person took over. I look vile.

noddyholder · 07/10/2010 14:15

hellsbelles do you have to be a member to shop at outnet Is it one of those joining type sites? The tunic is lovely

hellsbelles · 07/10/2010 14:19

Noddy- no you just do the normal sign up thing for online shopping here.

blossoming · 07/10/2010 14:20

choo, are you coming?
fleecy, 2pm it is then!

traceybath · 07/10/2010 14:23

Interesting point about outnet - I happened to be on there looking at j brands before 10am and the new stuff was showing under the designer before it showed in the 'just in' section. I hope that makes sense.

So if you really want something by a particular designer its worth checking them out before 10am on a tues and thursday.

noddyholder · 07/10/2010 14:24

Thanks HB off for a snoop.Dangerous for my bank account being at home all day!

Zembo · 07/10/2010 14:30

Thanks for the Outnet tip Tracey - no wonder I miss out on stuff (usually)and you do so well! That jumper is indeed lovely.

reallygrumpy · 07/10/2010 14:35

I like the Zara coat hells, I've also decided I need a red coat and am considering this one. I'm also after some black shoe boots, I tried these on last week, really comfy but the front's a funny shape.

MarshaBrady · 07/10/2010 14:35

Stamp.

Love all the outnet stuff.

traceybath · 07/10/2010 14:40

Right ladies - have DS1's parents evening tonight followed by dinner out with DH - what shall I wear?

Bearing in mind I feel enormous.

Outnet is just luck really - also got some burlington knee high socks. Don't worry will not be wearing with skirts more as an additional layer under jeans in the winter.

Right another boots question - do we think these are still ok with skinnies. Thinking day to day really. Will need to be xmas pressie as £££ but think they'll have longevity what do you think?

CHOOGIRL · 07/10/2010 14:42

planning to bloss

cyb · 07/10/2010 15:04

OllieWollieWoo · 07/10/2010 15:29

Oops - posted this on the end of the last thread when it was meant for this one!
Hells - love the red coat - I saw it on the blog which featured the Primark brogues - scroll down here to see her in it here - looks fab - in fact I like most of her outfits - esp the vintage dress she is wearing in the lastest post. I have a 3 year old vintage (!) red coat from Next which has a funnel neck which I love but never seem to wear apart from around Christmas time! Will have to dig it out to cheer up the school run!
