Just checked weather - going to be relatively mild too.

happilyeverafter · 30/09/2010 21:13

I love courts, usually platform ones and wear them like Tracey with skinnies for evenings out or with dresses.

For work I wouldn't wear a court as my outfits are sombre so courts would tip the outfit into boring. Today I wore a grey knee length cotton dress (Next), black fitted Gap v neck cardi buttoned up, black opaques and black Faith shoeboots.

Yangy those broque cum shoeboots sound gorgeous and exactly what I am looking for. Will await the A/W KK stock coming online soon as I am desparate for a non flat tan/brown broguey type shoe.

DolceeBanana · 30/09/2010 21:39

I would def wear the Rats, new boots, black leather jacket...

LetThemEatCake · 30/09/2010 21:47

which new boots??!! the stud ones?

hells glad you like them, thought you would! Only £250 so a bit cheaper than your ones I think - don't seem to be on the questionair website but bound to be soon ..?

yangy I live in FH too (like your bro)

thanks for the outfit suggestions ladies! am having some sizing probs with things at the mo so will have to have a bit of dress up sesh I think

LetThemEatCake · 30/09/2010 21:49

EIE I say create a stir! It's that thing n life 'about not worrying what other people think' - as long as you aren't offensive.

I have distinct memories of my mother wearing these fantastic Turbans in the 70's - this was quite outre in Glasgow!

Sorry everything it's super old. I think that's why I like it so much, it's a lovely battered worn leather. Have you looked on asos? They're often good for things like that. And free delivery...

Fleecy · 30/09/2010 23:04

Have you seen the older films thread? Made me feel quite nostalgic for some real classics!

My satchel is here and it's lovely and all new leather smelly Grin this necklace is much nicer in rl, much longer than I expected and more detailed.

I concur with creating a stir. Sometimes you need a little attitide.

I love all the biker boots links. I am going to purchase some riding boots and brogues as A/W staples but have binned my old bikers as worn out so may look for a cheapo replacement pair to add to the mix.

hf128219 · 30/09/2010 23:33

Yangy You are welcome to go to my Medieval fancy dress party tomorrow night - the invitation reads 'Drinking Games' 'Tests of Agility' 'No-one escapes'

Shudders!

LetThemEatCake · 01/10/2010 00:16

Have you sorted a costume yet hf?

happily hurrah, glad it's all lovely

yangy I sympathise, baby is down to one feed a day now but I well remember my first, longed-for night out when he was nearly 7months... Got summoned home to feed just as the main was served.... How old is dd?

Romanarama · 01/10/2010 08:43

shall I buy these boots??
