Carry on Vaping Vipers - yet another thread

The previous Carry On thread is full, so thought I'd start the new one.

General comments, thoughts, anything that we fancy but NO willy waving!

And I have never vaped banana flavour - or monkey jizz!

That name makes me snigger in a very juvenile fashion every time I think of it!

My two faves are
Digbys the King (peanut butter, banana and cream - very rich)
Triphammer - nobbly biscuit, strawberry sauce and Cornish vanilla ice cream - yes that's all one flavour

My regular vape shop looks like it's on the verge of closing. Shelves getting emptier looking...the guy who works there is never behind the counter he's in and out. They still have an on line presence but it's not the same as talking to a real person, who will take the device out of your hands, show you the correct fiddling procedure and be totally non condescending about the whole thing. He even remembers DH's set up, 'No', he says, 'Not that for your husband; won't suit him. Try this' - and it's not upselling. He even gave me nearly a full bottle of fancy American juice, the sample bottle of a line they were discontinuing. It is more expensive than online, but I normally wait til payday and make the Big Trip into town. The couple of extra euro is worth it to me - sometimes, when I can justify it - but how much is my couple of euro worth to him?

Can someone experienced help me please? today I brought a aspire K4 which has a cleito tank and it's blowing my head off! The vape is so HOT! I'm coming from a kangertech subvod mega which was great. I needed a back up kit and liked the look of the K4. Now I'm wishing I'd brought another Kangertech subvod mega

You're kind of stuck with that unless you try 0.4 ohm Cleito coils, no other adjustment. I found the 0.2 ohm coils too hot, the k4 appears to come with 0.27 ohm coils and would be hot for me at 50 watts. Only thing you can do is change the coil to higher resistance.

Thank you so much Beezer. I think I'm gonna take it back to the shop tomorrow as it also tastes BURNT! Like I can't describe it. It's actually made me feel sick and I've never had that before. Proper miffed!

How does one start sub ohming? I'm on the MN approved istick 30w and nautilus mini.

Where to next?

I started with the Kangertech Subvod (from Amazon), but have now moved on to a couple of Cool Fire 4s, because you can control the power (which you can't with the Subvod) - one plus, one not, both with i-Sub G tanks on. The CF 4+ will fire 0.2 ohm coils, and I use 0.5 ohm coils in the CF 4, although it will, apparently, fire the 0.2 ones too. I'm using mostly 80/20 VG/PG juices at either 3 or 6mg, and am blowing fairly large clouds. Great flavour, too, despite the low pg. I really like the 'thickness' of the vapour, it feels good in the mouth, and I've learned how to blow vapour rings now, too (on a good day, with no wind!) like the cool kids do :D

I think I've probably reached my limit now, am not about to explore rebuildables - someone showed me how to build coils once, and it seemed a load of faff to me, plus I'd probably end up blowing myself up :) I might stretch to a Cool Fire 4 100w with temperature control - just to complete the set (and my shinyitis is twitching!).

I returned to the shop today and it was a faulty coil! Super happy now! Thanks for the help!

7days I started sub ohming with the subvod from kangertech. I really liked it & upgraded to the mega for longer battery life

I really like the mini triton coils in the mini nautilus - vaping at 11-12w and happy!

Polter I love the way they're colour coordinated!

Quick question. My fave liquids only come in 18mg and 10mg. I'm well stocked for 18mg so when I next order I want to look at dropping the nic level
Is 10mg going to make me want to chain vape all day?! I've been 100 days cig free

I only came back to vaping 10 weeks ago, started on 18mg and am now on either 6 or 3mg with no cravings - so it's possible. I think the fact that I switched to a sub ohm system probably helped - more clouds, more vapour, less nicotine - many of the juices I really like only come in a max of 6mg. I think you'll probably be fine dropping to 10mg - I find my 18mg juices far too strong now, so am giving them all to my husband :) Just keeps yours handy in case of a craving!

Triphammer will mix 12mg for me I had already ordered so I got a mix of 10 and 18 so I can put them together

Hello all! I'm so happy, I have finally managed to stop smoking cigs /tobacco and now smoke my vape! It's made a huge difference to my breathing! And I smell much better !

Hello isthatcoffee - congratulations! Isn't it just a wonderful feeling to know you're free of the stinkies? I still can't quite believe it myself - and that brilliant feeling of being able to take a deep breath that just seems to go on and on - I never knew it was possible to breathe so deeply! I'm totally loving it (and am vaping Hold Fast from Sailor Sauce today - very nice custard flavour!).
