Carry on Vaping Vipers - yet another thread

General comments, thoughts, anything that we fancy but NO willy waving!

Hi vapers. Thanks to all your advice on here I took the plunge, sorted myself out with a couple of starter friendly ecigs and haven't had a fag for over 3 weeks. I'm enjoying the vaping and am saving money with my £1 juices - BUT I've been reading the forums and looking at the vape shops and there are so many different juices to try...so ladies, what are you vaping, and if I were to treat myself to one or two of these gourmet juices would I be reluctant to go cheap again starting off a very expensive habit. Is there that much difference?

I've finally caved and bought some kit. On the basis of these threads (thank you) I got the Eleaf istick and the aspire nautilus. I've been vaping on DP's for a while but haven't wanted to quit smoking completely before. He uses Heisenberg which I love, and he makes his own so I can choose the strength I want. I'm intrigued by sizzle box though. Is it worth the money?

I think it's worth it - not necessarily for the value of the juices, although that's not bad, but I do enjoy having a surprise every month, and trying flavours that I might not otherwise discover. It was through Sizzlebox that I found Triphammer and Sailor Sauce. If you'd prefer to know what you're getting each month, there are other subscription services - I also use Shoreditch vapes - only 99p (use discount code VAPE99 at checkout) for the first order, and then - depending on which juices you choose - around £9.99 a month thereafter. Much more basic flavours than you tend to get from Sizzlebox, but it has the advantage of being able to choose what's coming. Their Apple Pie is very nice, as is their Spiced Apple. Not so keen on the chocolate though.

Just got a triphammer order. I've found a fave in nobbly biscuits, strawberry sauce and Cornish ice cream flavour

Thanks for the Shoreditch Vape code. I've ordered a few from there and DP has ordered some different flavours from vampire vape, so that should keep me amused for a while. I love my new kit, especially the multicoloured cover I got for it. Thanks for all the tips.

CanI ask a question, fairly new to vaping and confused about what sort of juices I should be using? What vg/pg?

Was duel fuelling with a pen type one and using vampire vamp (60/40) but getting sick of the flavours. Quit the cigs fully over a week ago and using the mini nautilus now. Can you use a 50/50 with them, does it make a difference? Any recommendations where to order juices from? Sorry so many questions and no doubt I'll have more

Thanks Poltergoose, read a few threads on here after and said to keep higher ratio, confused myself further I'm finding this vaping thing complicated, had to take the tank to the guy in the shop to show me how to change the coil as I hadn't a clue I'll have a look at those websites, cheers.

I use anything from 50/50 to 70/30 (VG/PG) and find they work pretty well. Mainly I use triphammer

I've just got a kanger drip tank.

Does anyone know how to change the coil. I can get to it but I cant work out how to get the coil out. The instructions are a bit useless.

no its my first one. Ive been using a itaste mvp with a subtank mini untill now.

thank you, I think I have it sorted now. It's just compleatly diffrent to my other kit.

I will do. It all very pretty and shiney and new at the moment.

I took it to work today. I used it before work, then on my half an hour lunch break then after work.

In the time it went from fully charged to two bars left. That seems to be a quock loss of charge. My other set up can go 3 days with out being charged on the same usage. If I hadnt swapped to the other one after work to put it on charge theres no way it would have lasted all evening.

Apart from that, which isnt a major drawback because its not my only one its going really well. It gives a good vape with loads of flavour on my usual favourite (grape) from 1pound eliquid. I dont like complicated flavours, they make me feel a bit sick even the more expensive types so I tend to stick to grape and cherry.

my other set up is a complete work horse, its thrown in my bag, charged occasionally and its always good to go. Its been pretty bashed about while I have had it, and I can charge my phone with it. So to be honest its a hard one to beat.
