The previous Carry On thread is full, so thought I'd start the new one.

General comments, thoughts, anything that we fancy but NO willy waving!

Can I join in? Just started vaping. I've bought the aspire premier/premium kit and am using 12mg mint liquid. I'm very happy today because instead of 15/20 cigs, I've had 6. Just wanted to join in here for tips really. I've tried to give up before but didn't last. I'm hoping this time will be different. I'm sick of paying so much money out every week.

lazybones77 · 07/07/2016 02:26

My worry is that I'll be relying on my vaporiser all the time. I'd still like to keep the 'habit' of smoking and not be puffing on the vaporiser every few minutes. I've seen people do this and that puts me off. How do you combat this?

Nice to see you over here, lazy.

Polter is right about vaping - it's little & often. Don't worry about it for now & well done on the fags not smoked.

coveredinhopeandvaseline · 08/07/2016 15:48

Can I join?

I have a 10 month old...I quit smoking as soon as I found out I was pregnant (first day of missed period) and didn't smoke again until stupidly starting when I had my first glass of wine when he was 8 weeks old.
I wasn't smoking heavily, just once or twice a week with wine- never in the house and always covered my clothes and hair with a coat and hat while outside, such was the PFB paranoia...but was so annoyed with myself for going all that time then giving in again!

I've been vaping happily for 6 weeks and haven't wanted a cigarette once. I find myself having the odd puff of my vape with coffee in the afternoon when he's down for his nap because I really enjoy it...the nice cherry flavour gives me a hit of sweetness that prevents me from reaching for the biscuits!

My skin is clearer now too! :)

magimedi · 08/07/2016 16:45

Well done, coveredinhope. Since quitting & vaping I have dropped a size in clothes.

coveredinhopeandvaseline · 08/07/2016 17:57

That's amazing, magimedi Hoping to do the same :)

hollinhurst84 · 09/07/2016 19:35

Still going Smile
Will be doing a triphammer order at the end of the month I think
I keep going back to a Digbys Juice, it's called the King and it's my absolute favourite
Weight loss is coming better too, I'm 2.5 stone down and actually losing more since I stopped smoking so win win
I feel very content and happy!
Struggle a little when I have to do 3+hrs without vaping but I think it will get easier

Allergictoironing · 11/07/2016 07:59

Hollinhurst you need to develop the technique of "stealth vaping". Choice of special kit to assist in this obviously helps e.g. iStick mini, or as my brother does - uses a cigalike sized battery with a small tank on it like the Kanger e-smart. He has been known to have an un-noticed draw on this in the middle of a business meeting!

Toilet breaks are good too Wink.

hollins I got myself an Eleaf nano this week - just so I had something tiny enough to stealth vape with. It's a lovely little thing, although only 650 maH, and with a 0.9 ml tank :) Great flavour off of it though, and I stealthed in the local hotel bar with it last night - no one noticed!

hollinhurst84 · 11/07/2016 23:00

Sadly toilet breaks have to be asked for and no chance of stealth in the office!

lazybones77 · 12/07/2016 01:16

How do I know when the coil/burner needs changed in the aspire mini nautilus?

BeezerBubble · 12/07/2016 01:33

lazybones77 When it starts to taste funky it's time to change your coil. Not a great answer but when it doesn't taste as good as it was, change it.

lazybones77 · 12/07/2016 01:45

Thank you. I'll look out for that. I've only been using it for a couple of days but was wondering if I'd know when I had to change it.

BeezerBubble · 12/07/2016 01:50

You'll know, could take a week or a month depends on lots o things. It just starts to taste......off. Vape it as long as you like it I guess Grin no right answer.

Ooh vaping thread! I make my own liquid, if anyone has any questions fire away....

lazybones77 · 13/07/2016 23:50

Half butterscotch, half double mint. It's like smoking werthers originals. Mmm.

hollinhurst84 · 14/07/2016 19:59

I've ordered more of my favourite liquid
I keep trying others but I'm returning to the same one

stripeyzebra32 · 15/07/2016 16:59

I'm a total wally, I asked for advice down below on how to drop the fags completely. I said I was smoking 3-5 and getting through 5ml of liquid. It's only 2ml a day.

Well I've got to the end of my last carton of 100 yesterday. Well I have 1 left and I've not smoked today, whilst I still have 1 left it won't play on my mind so I'm hoping now just to stop,

This is the longest I've ever gone without one

Does anyone need aspire bvc coils? I ordered the wrong ones Angry (they don't fit the nautilus or mini)

Destinysdaughter · 16/07/2016 13:55

It tastes burnt when u need to change the coil.I tend to do it every two weeks.

Destinysdaughter · 16/07/2016 13:58

How do pp clean their tanks, any tips?
