The previous Carry On thread is full, so thought I'd start the new one.

General comments, thoughts, anything that we fancy but NO willy waving!

Well done to all you longstanding vapers.

I lurked on the first threads in aibu. If only I hadn't lapsed Sad

Piesy · 04/05/2017 13:59

Can you take vape plus batteries etc in carry-on luggage on the plane? I read that it has to be in carry-on luggage, but am worried it might confiscated at security pre-boarding and then I would be devastated sad..

magimedi · 04/05/2017 15:29

Piesy, I've been taking my kit in hand luggage to various locations for nearly 5 years & have had no problems.

Liquids must obv be in smallish bottles & go in the wee liquid bag.

Piesy · 04/05/2017 17:15

Thanks, Magi. Just passed the 3 week no-smoking mark and vaping is def getting me through it. Couldn't bear the thought of having to argue about carrying it on a plane Smile

magimedi · 04/05/2017 17:31

I can also let you know that you can vape in a plane loo & it does not set the smoke alarms off!! I often have a quiet puff huddled in my seat if on a long flight - I am discreet & don't make too much vapour & have (yet) to be rumbled!

Well done on 3 weeks.

Piesy · 04/05/2017 19:52

Funny. GrinI totally plan on doing that. Glad someone else thinks like me

Jins · 05/05/2017 18:13

Just got some Eliquid from the Mrs Lord clearance and it's gorgeous. I've tried a couple before but I've bought some I wouldn't normally go for and they are outstanding. I've got a nicotine headache now.

I'm using everything from 3mg to 18mg strength now but I've got to be careful which tank each strength goes in. Smoking was never this much fun

Ollivander84 · 05/05/2017 18:15

I do like Mrs Lord. Currently on my favourite Digbys ones - the King. Peanut butter, banana and cream

Jins · 18/05/2017 17:06

Not me. I'm on a few of the juice sellers Facebook pages for the freebies but no group.

YouCantArgueWithStupid · 18/05/2017 19:14

@FuckMyUterus I'm on approved vapers

FuckMyUterus · 18/05/2017 19:22

Ooh me too! Partner works for a local to Birmingham juice company and we're about to launch our own mech mod company-totally outing Grin

YouCantArgueWithStupid · 18/05/2017 19:26

@FuckMyUterus I'll be watching! Any offers for promoters Wink

FuckMyUterus · 18/05/2017 19:38

Well there is free coils and cotton with every setup, do you use mechs?

YouCantArgueWithStupid · 18/05/2017 19:42

I ordered my first one yesterday 😀 I can't see me leaving my trusty kits 100%

JingleJangleBell · 18/05/2017 20:05

I'm in approved vapers Smile and many other groups. UK Vape Deals is a new group I've joined and has links to some fantastic offers

ApocalypseNowt · 18/05/2017 20:22

Nearly 3 weeks now vaping!

In that time i've only had 2 cigs....didn't really enjoy them and felt no urge to buy my own Smile

I've bought some eliquids from Mrs Lord but I'm still working out what I like (so far it's raspberry or vanilla type flavours).

Last week I got really snotty and grotty. Not sure if it was a cold or my body getting rid of the crap from cigs? Is that a thing?

FuckMyUterus · 18/05/2017 20:44

If anyone is interested when we launch then PM me... might offer a mumsnet member discount ;)

PinkBlossomTree · 18/05/2017 21:10

Hello I'm a newbie on your thread.

I've been vaping for 16 months and cig free for 11 months. I worked out I have saved £2200 in that time.

I'm currently using a istick 50w and the aspire triton.

Today I've purchased the rose gold triton as it looks so lovely I've been lusting after it for months. My istick is not as good battery wise as it was but I've had it about 14/15 months now and I have seen the istick power 5000mAh and wondered if anyone else has it and could recommend?

I'm not worried about the w as I'm currently at 23watts with a 1.9 coil, I use the nautilus coils and wondered if there was much difference? The only thing I can see is the power socket is on the bottom.

Jins · 18/05/2017 21:54

Welcome and congratulations! I nearly bought an Ipower but went for an istick pico instead. I'm sure someone on this thread has one though.

If anyone fancies a bargain there's 80% off captains reserve liquid in the funky skull bottles. www.thecaptainsreserve.com/

For those on higher strength I found 30ml bottles of Scott's custard cream for 99p each at www.888vapour.co.uk.

I left a few. It's lovely stuff
