I love Triphammer too - really good punchy flavours. I'm mixing my own again, but have to wait a couple of weeks for them to steep, and I hate waiting for anything!

Hi all. Long break from both MN and vaping

Decided it was time to pick it up again. Dug out the trusty vamo v5 and iclear 30 to find it's all a bit old school nowadays. Still works nicely and I'm ten days off stinkies.

I've treated myself to an istick mini which is finding its way over from China and I've bought a couple of protank minis to keep changing juice which I need to do in the early days. Currently switching between Joose Juice pina colada, liQuid's jam on toast and Mrs Lords Chester Tart. All 18mg but I'm going to be adding a few drops of VG to each tank soon as 18mg may be a bit high. I had a burnt coil yesterday with the Chester tart which has spoiled it for me. Think it'll have to be put aside for a while which is a shame as it's lush and I have a 30ml bottle.

Feeling more positive this time round and have already been more successful in terms of the number not smoked. Not sure why but I don't think my juice choices last time were right for me. It's early days to find an adv but I guess it's going to be in the desserty sweety area.

Today's been the first day for years when I've gone out for a full day without a pack of cigs in my bag and I've not thought about them either.

I've got the inevitable cough and snuffles but today saw a new one for me - a sore tongue. It went while I was out but has returned after a sustained vaping session. It'll improve I'm sure. I'm very greedy and have been vaping a lot

Off to see if I can recover my protank coil which burnt yesterday. It's good to be back

Nowt wrong with a Vamo and an iClear 30. I'm still using a kayfun lite which hails from the same era. I still use my vamo v5 in the house sometimes but won't take it out because it looks like a dalek's cock

I'm looking for a very simple small tank and battery, ciglike if possible. And also which is the best low nicotine vg menthol liquid? Nice and clean and sharp ... so many are very insipid ...

I'm hanging on Pencils. Still not had a stinky but I'm not feeling the love for vaping at the moment. I know I'll pull through it but the sore throat is a nuisance and I'm hitting vapers tongue as well.

I'm struggling with the vamo if I'm honest. I don't remember this happening last time but I'm getting a burnt taste every couple of hits. The only tank I can use it with is the iclear 30. Even at 3w and 3v it's making juice taste burnt in the PT mini. So I'm back on my innokin starter kit waiting patiently for my istick mini.

I just ordered the istick pico kit from gearbest. Combination of shinyitis and an urge to try sub ohm and the pico will do both. I need more vapour and more flavour than I'm getting at the moment. May have to investigate tanks next.

Mrs Lord and co has a few juices on sale atm if anyone is interested. I just got another 50ml Chester Pudding for £11.

Lucysdiamonds I'm getting on quite well with an innokin starter kit I got from paradise vape. About £8. Not cigalike but very small Can't help with menthol though as it's my second least favourite flavour.

Thanks. One of the problems I have is I don't like the look of the mouthpieces a lot of the time ... prefer it to be like a cigarette ... although I must admit I haven't tried them?

I've never had a problem with any mouthpiece except the cigalike I started with. Same size and shape as a cig but the texture wasn't there. For me it helps that my vaping kit is nothing like a cigarette in weight, feel or taste.

You are probably best going to a vape shop to try various kits out if you can. You may be surprised

Think I've solved the problem with the burning taste in the PT minis. Looks like they are fakes.

Lucy I'm a complete newbie so only know what I've got, IYSWIM. It's the Innokin T18E. Very easy to put together and refill. A charge seems to last me nearly all day.

First liquids were from Flavour Vapout but, on recommendation from here, I got some from onepoundeliquid.

Black Ice and Blueberry Ice have a nice menthol taste to the end of the "drag", not as sweet as straight fruit which I like. Lots of people seem to enjoy the custard and cream flavour but I really didn't. Next time, I'll get some more mint flavours and try mixing together with fruit ones to get a stronger mint taste perhaps. Funny as I never liked menthol cigs at all!

I've seen the Innokin T18E recommended a few times and the reviews are great. How long does a refill last?

Not keen on fruity flavours, looking for pure menthol really ... I looked on the onepoundeliquid site but they don't do a vg pure menthol. I can't vape pg, I get throat problems

I've not tried triphammer yet. I will when I've settled into it all again and used up the stock of random flavours in my drawer. It might have to wait as I'm debating a biggish Mrs Lord order

Digbys is nice, the King was my fave for ages. Make sure to use the triphammer 50% off code but it only kicks in at £60 so good when you know you want to stock up

Gone for fizzy trifle, tiger stripe, jam Roly poly, yellow snow and a couple of concentrates. I'm not ready to mix myself but I can pick up flavourless anywhere

That's good to hear. I love my jam on toast from onepoundliquid so I thought this would be a safe bet.

I'm definitely settling into fruity dessert flavours. I can't stand tobacco flavours, menthol or aniseed.

I've settled into it better this time round. Avoiding Hangsen has helped

You would probably like the nobbly biscuit too. I got shortbread and PB & jelly as well!

I've just ordered from vapegoo. 3x30ml bottles for less than a tenner including delivery. It's not much more than a packet of fags really. If one of them is vapable then I'm happy
