The previous Carry On thread is full, so thought I'd start the new one.

General comments, thoughts, anything that we fancy but NO willy waving!

I've got the tank that goes with the T18. I trialled it at the weekend. Pretty impressive amount of vapour and great flavour but i was using it at lower wattage than the Endura kit puts out. It could well end up as my daytime tank. Quite a chunky drip tip so I'd suggest seeing it in real life Lucy.

My vapegoo order arrived. Exciting. Vanilla custard is vapable straightaway and I'm quite impressed with it as an everyday custard flavour. Lemon meringue pie will need steeping. No discernible lemon flavour but plenty of pastry at the moment. Cloud 9 I haven't tried yet but there's not much scent so it's off for a steep. For less than a tenner for 90ml delivered I'm quite happy.

Looks like Mrs Lords Chester pudding is a coil killer. Gutted. It warns about potentially cracking tanks so I've used my protank mini and got the dreaded burnt taste after a couple of fills. I think I'll just have to try it in a more disposable tank and use it up that way

Anyone know if triphammer juice is hard on coils?

Jins · 31/01/2017 11:30

Fasttech order made on 18th. Arrived today. Grin

Istick mini 10w and a load of replacement coils for not much money. The mini is rather lovely. Just the job for out and about.

24 hour update on the vapegoo custard juice remains positive. A pretty authentic custard flavour. I've had worse and paid much more. 70/30 VG to PG so plenty of vapour too. The chances of reordering this are high

Well my Istick pico has arrived and I've put the sub ohm Melo tank through its paces.

I'm in love Blush

I'm going to ration myself to a single tank in the evening or I'll be going through litres of juice

Stoneagemum · 04/02/2017 21:33

@hollinhurst84 where did you get the rose gold istick? I want, it would look great with my rose gold nautilus x

My 20w isticks are on their last legs, couldn't get another in town today so ended up with a arc3 40watt which came with a tank that I didn't need but I quite like so am not too bothered, but is is another set of coils to buy, along with the ines for my nautilus minis and x

hollinhurst84 · 04/02/2017 22:09

Ooh I got an email with a mention! It's an eleaf ipower 80 in bronze Smile and I got it from fasttech

Stoneagemum · 05/02/2017 21:26

Thanks hollinhurst84 that might well be my next payday treat

Jins · 07/02/2017 09:35

4 weeks off cigs Shock

Over £200 saved but not really because of shinyitis. I'm probably still ahead financially though.

I'm still liking vapegoo's custard juice and cloud 9 is nice when my taste buds don't work but I'm finding the triphammer liquids a bit bland at the moment. Apart from fizzy trifle which tastes like cinzano at the moment. Off to the steeping cupboard with them

hollinhurst84 · 07/02/2017 13:28

Yep steep the trip stuff. It's often v v fresh, I like mine when it's a brown colour Grin

Jins · 07/02/2017 13:50

I've just tried the fizzy trifle again. I don't think it's for me but I'll give it a few more weeks. I'm not getting the described flavours at all. It's not a great loss financially though - I've sent more ££££ up in smoke in a day

hollinhurst84 · 07/02/2017 14:17

I like that they do the 5ml so you can get a decent go at something. Once I like it I get the 30ml
I didn't like Antarctic roll or Vienna whirl but it's so individual
Definitely steep, even my preferred flavours can taste horrible when too fresh

Jins · 07/02/2017 15:29

I like yellow snow but it's mild. Too mild really.

I know cotton wicks are supposed to be better for flavour but I'm really not enjoying some juices in my tanks with cotton wicks. I've just put a Kayfun clone into my fast tech basket along with some premade coils and wicks. I'm still chain vaping and coils aren't lasting long with the sweeter juices. Not being able to dry burn is irritating me more than I would have thought reasonable

Jins · 13/02/2017 22:11

Just swapped my sub ohm tank back to my MTL tank. Forgot to check wattage.

I can't express how awful it was

Jins · 17/02/2017 15:56

@hollinhurst84 How are you getting on with the Ipower? I'm very tempted by its battery size.

hollinhurst84 · 17/02/2017 17:03

Really well! I love it Grin

Jins · 04/03/2017 11:45

I'm very proud of myself. My Kayfun clone and various bits have arrived and I've built my first coil, wicked it and am vaping happily away.

Took a while and there may have been bad language but I did it and got to my target of 1.8 ohms first time.

PencilsInSpace · 04/03/2017 16:06

StarGrin

Is this the one you got? That's what I use. When I went all tinfoil-hatty about the TPD I bought about 5, plus a load of spare tank windows, spare base kits, bell ends caps ... it's the lego of tanks!

Jins · 04/03/2017 16:26

No I got a V5 and a mini. The V5 is a bit airy but easy to build on. The mini is trickier for building but I've just managed a 1.6 ohm build and the flavour is amazing. Better than the nautilus mini which I doubted was possible. The v5 uses a lot of juice though. I got them on gearbest

Dailyfuckingsnail · 05/03/2017 11:13

Joining the thread! Had an op last week which means I can't smoke. Am five days in vaping (which my registrar said was fine to do) and I'm doing ok, but still can't see myself not smoking forever. Anyone else had this and overcome it?

Jins · 05/03/2017 12:33

That sounds like me last time round Daily.

Vaped for a while pre and post op but never really embraced it and slipped back.

This time has been different. I decided to start vaping again to cut down and accidentally gave up smoking. The difference this time is due to better kit and nicer juice.

What kit are you using? Decent kit makes such a difference. I have all sorts of stuff but I really rate the innokin Endura T18 tank although I've not got the starter kit it comes with. Very close to the draw from a cigarette, loads of vapour, good flavour.

Dailyfuckingsnail · 05/03/2017 13:04

I'm using the aspire kit. I haven't had any real cravings or any desperation (yes, desperation) like the other times I've tried to quit.

I think it's more the mental side of things...trying to get into my head that this is actually it.

The aspire kit seems good, although I'm going to have a look at the one you've described.

Jins · 05/03/2017 13:08

The mental side of it was the worst part for me. Just vape as much as you need to is all I can say. At some point you'll realise you're past the worst.

That seems to be the case for most of us I think.

Just don't do what I did if you lapse. Get right back to vaping

Dailyfuckingsnail · 05/03/2017 13:26

How have you experimented with flavours? I like a really harsh hit (awful as that sounds) how do you find the different flavours?

Jins · 05/03/2017 14:01

I bought a load from onepoundliquid.com to see what I liked.

Turned out I liked custard type flavours Didn't expect that.
