The refurbished SP Wine Bar is once again open, as while you don't have to drink to be a Step Parent, it helps.

Contact changed at no notice?

Disney Dad and sulky Skids?

Damned if you do and damned if you don't???

Ahhh, thats better!

My DD does that - find her in my bed sometimes and gives me a shock! She's 8 Confused
Gives DP even more of a shock as his DCs are better trained in that respect.

MJinSparklyStockings · 30/12/2011 23:43

Glad it's not just us - sometimes - there are 6 of us watching TV - me dh dd dsd ds1 and ds2 and when dss lived at home him too - all sort of draped Across the bed in a squashed huddle - the older dcs are way to old for it - but the mini dcs love it - family tv time!

Purpleroses · 30/12/2011 23:46

Sounds nice, but better for watching TV than getting any sleep! DD is getting rather heavy to lift back to her own bed these days so don't bother unless DP is staying round. I've always been pretty relaxed with her about it - assume she'll outgrow it sometime soon.

MJinSparklyStockings · 30/12/2011 23:48

We don't sleep like it Xmas Grin it's more a gradual morning thing - as each one wanders in.

BarfAndHeave · 01/01/2012 22:14

Happy New Year all of you.

I am feeling quite fragile today and I suspect I may not be the only one! Grin how are you all?

NotaDisneyMum · 01/01/2012 22:29

I seem to be indulging more this evening than I did last night - I only had a couple last night Blush

BarfAndHeave · 01/01/2012 22:52

I had a couple...of bottles.

We had an overdose of DSS (25-29 Dec), even DH was glad to take him back to his mothers. I now have respite until 4pm Thursday. Am drinking something chilled and intoxicating to celebrate that even DH gets p*ssed off with his solid-gold, diamond-encrusted son at times .......

Happy New Year wickeds !

Have been rather mugged by the SSs over the Yule, they get through so much food, drink and money don't they? I think elder SS has decided he's going to stay for a while although he doesn't know how long, - I have a feeling he has had a falling out with mum but will not say. I don't mind him being here at all but would just like to know is he here or not, for food quantities mainly Grin

Hello, im new to this so dont really know what im doing. Ive been with my boyfriend for four and a half years and we have a daughter of 18 month together, he also has a son with somebody who is four. I met my boyfriend when his son was one years old and im very close to him but the situation is difficulty with my boyfriends sons mum and even though we do support her she is asking for more money that we just dont have to give. Anyone in a similar situation with advice?

therantingBOM · 04/01/2012 14:45

Centerparcs MJ.. but surely that's all swimming, running and healthy food? Wink Not wine, surely?

MorningHasBroken · 05/01/2012 21:20

How did it take me this long to find the wine bar?! And only when I'm bloody pregnant as well. Grrrr.

DSD and DSS knackered from school this week so have gone to bed with no complaints - am blissfully enjoying a child-free zone as early as 9pm! Time to crack open the sparkling water... Envy

BarfAndHeave · 05/01/2012 22:15

That's ok MorningHasBroken, we have s fine selection of soft drinks and nibbles for the upduffed and new of sprog.

They're like rabbits around here, rabbits I tell ye! GrinGrin

MJinSparklyStockings · 06/01/2012 00:22

HeLlo - here have a beautiful Asda finest spritzer - having had 3 babies I can assure you these are the nicest soft drink.

Me - I'd like

A pint of wine
A double gnt chaser
A whiskey
A brandy
Mmmmm
A chocolate vodka

That will do for now x
