This is going to be an interesting year with the regulation change.

Rumours are Mercedes and RB engines are exploiting a loophole and so may have the most powerful engines.

AM will have a car with significant input from Adrian Newey.

Sauber becomes Audi and we have an 11th team, Cadillac.

Christian Horner seems very keen to get back into F1, preferably Alpine with Flávio - they deserve each other.

There is closed door testing in Barcelona then open testing from 11 February at Sakhir.

Well apart from the test driver knocking someone down (that we didn’t get to see) that was a pretty boring practice session.

FP2 - Kimi is flying.

Would love an Oscar podium this weekend.

Looking good in practice ...but that meant nothing last time, he had a decent practice but that didnt translate to qualifying. Hope he can break the curse of the custom lid! 🤞

OMG is it a Ferrari front row or did George get it. I think George’s time will be deleted with possibly a penalty.

That was one hell of a lap from George.

George must have been absolutely flying if that time was after he lifted!

I think Kimi may still win, he has been flying.

For the championship it keeps it open if George, Lewis and Charles take points from Kimi.

Yup looked good in practice, meh for qualifying.

@bluetongue I think a podium will be a miracle!

Hope the ferraris can mix up the race a bit, they looked good in quali.

I wasn’t confident about Oscar so not too disappointed but I’m sad about Kimi getting confused and missing out in the front row 😢

@bluetongue i think its probably about the different experience levels.

As an F1 fan I quite like the mixed up grids as Kimi will need to overtake to win.

I just remind myself that Kimi had to make up places in earlier races because his starts were so bad. He should be able to finish on the podium.

I had the less than 2 months email from Zandvoort today. We will finally be able to tell DS one month today on his birthday. I am so excited.

Just realised that if I move to Romania I will be a hop, skip and jump from both the Red Bull ring and Hungoring! Happy days!

Im really not liking some of these (i assume drone) angles they make me feel a bit seasick!
