Yes, I fear that it will be a Spain NK final.

But on the bright side, we should be able to watch the 3rd place play off as it is at 18.30 on Sunday.

There's an android app from WheresTheMatch which tell you what is on and where.

There is also an app called Live Football on TV Guide by Patrick Millais which gives you reminders 15 mins before the match (I think you can change the reminder times).

I will watch the England match tomorrow evening, I think - I can't see myself staying awake until 1am - or later, if there are pens.

They've only got the highlights, not the full match. I can't believe the BBC couldn't leave it up on iPlayer for even 12 hours. 🙁

Not a good weekend for football.

We were the better team against Man U, and should have won.

The U17s were outplayed by the USA and lost 3 nil

NK drew 1 1 with Spain and won on penalties.

North Korea are the Champions of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup after beating Spain 4-3 on penalties.
They have now won the title on three occasions 2008,2016 and 2020

England lost to the USA 3-0

Our game against Chelsea was hard to watch. An empty Goodison didn't help either.

Yes, I don't understand how Chelsea get it so right with their recruitment and playing tactics and Lauren James wasn't even in the team.

Perhaps they pay much more than other clubs and so are able to attract the best players and I assume Man City do as well.

I wish it were as simple as money but, much as it pains me to say it as a gooner, I think Chelsea WFC have a great recruitment department and a clear identity. Which is easy to write down but very hard to achieve. Add to that the recent history of success and a winning culture and that's the explanation. I don't know about Man City, but AWFC pays very well. Same ball park as Chelsea, anyway.

Regarding mistakes and giving the ball away, Mariona just needs a rest, I think. But very much the case that we played better - perhaps because the other players are more familiar with each other than with her?
