The Welsh cyclist who I saw win a medal at the 2022 Commonwealth Games and the raising of the Welsh flag will be there- Emma Finucaine, one of the fastest women in the world on a cycle.

I'm enjoying the Discovery+ /Eurosport coverage of the swimming. The commentators don't know much about Team GB so they don't do ridiculous over-hyped build ups for British swimmers, that anyone who follows swimming, knows they don't stand a chance of a medal.
Team GB are having a rather mediocre games in the pool- but it wouldn't seem quite so bad if they hadn't been hyped up.

i am enjoying the rugby7s, very exciting match France v Canada.

@WellSpent i don’t think the bbc overhype the British team as much as you think, but I did listen to the Eurosport/discovery coverage of the swimming a couple of days ago and the commentators (American and Australian) both sounded really boring! You have to strike a balance between dull and too excited! I’m not a fan of Craig and Leon (gymnastics and diving). To be honest I find it much better to listen to the bbc5live coverage. That seems to be just about the right balance for me.

Shame the triathlon has been postponed ! I think they should just make it a duathlon now. They are kicking the can down the road as thunderstorms are expected later on this evening!

I waited patiently this morning for the start if the windsurfing race, which looked pretty exciting. They cut to the studio presenters, I went to the toilet, and then missed it!

Jack Draper is playing Taylor Fritz. Jack won the first set, but Fritz is playing better now, looks likely to win now. Looks absolutely boiling hot at Roland Garros.

I've been finding it hard to get into because of the difficulty of finding what I want, but that's getting better.
I am watching the women's gymnastics team final at the mo, which is amazing. I used to be very athletic but gymnastics is the one sport that I could not even imagine being able to do. It's hard to believe they are the same species as me.

Just watched a fantastic Sevens final. So proud of our women. First medal for NZ this year is a gold, won by our women. Hooray!

So great to see Canada up there too!

It will be on BBC iPlayer. They covered it on BBC 1 and BBC 2 so that is my guess. Other than that, Discovery+ if you have a subscription.

I've never known an Olympics like it. Disgraceful. People saying they can't find stuff, they've missed a race they wanted to see. Where is this? Where is that? How do I find xxx? Never known anything like it, in all the Olympics I've ever watched. What the fuck is going on?
